You literally go INSIDE the Exxon gas station and the place is located on your left. It's both Dragon Bowl & Tacos VIP, very confusing. I placed my order online and the two people were super confused. I said "is this where I go for Tacos VIP?" The guy said "yes we have tacos" and I said "oh I placed an order already though ..." Then the girl pulled up her tablet and asked for my name and then said "okay okay" and started working on the order. I guess they don't get a lot of online orders? From the menu prices, I think it's actually a better deal to place your order online than at the counter. Each item I ordered is $10.00 and you get 10% off by ordering online, versus $10.40 plus tax at the counter. The food was actually very delicious! They give you a lot of meat for the mini tacos. I just wish I had more salsa! I'll definitely be back, but I'd probably call them ahead of time to let them know I placed an order online so it'll be ready when I get there. read more

Found this place through Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. Solid 4.5 for a food truck! You can actually sit down which is nice. We tried different tacos sons we came later so they didn't have the breakfast tacos but the tacos we had were so good as well as the torta. Had an agua Fresca to go with it and it was perfect. While out working on the northwest side of San Antonio today, I had a hankering for the perfect breakfast taco. Not just your regular breakfast taco you get at the chain restaurants, but a homemade taco made with love. Behind the Valero I saw a red food trailer with a crowd of people standing around waiting for food. Loud Tejano music played, and velvet ropes adorned the trailer to infer only rock stars order tacos here. A lot of people preach how taco trucks are life, so, I decided to partake. What did I have to lose? I approached the window after I perused the menu and was greeted by a nice fella ready to take my order. I kept it simple, and ordered two bacon and egg tacos. Tacos are $2 each, and if you buy three of the same kind, it will set you back $5. The nice fella persuaded me to go for the extra taco. This was shaping up to be a good experience. Looking inside the trailer there was a crew of about 6 or 7 people and they were all hustling to crank these tacos out to hungry patrons. Each taco made looked delicious. After somewhat of a longer than usual wait, the nice fella hollered my order was ready. It was hard to hear him over the loud Tejano music, and the generator in the back. Had I not been paying attention, I would have had some cold tacos. The long wait was no big deal, as they were busy, and good tacos take time. I went back to my car and my hands jumped right into the bag. I unwrapped my first taco and was very impressed. Homemade tortilla, perfectly scrambled eggs, and a strip of bacon. I took my first bite and heard angels sing. What an amazing taco. Not one complaint. Bonus points for using bacon that tasted fresh. This was not the typical bacon that was chewy and undercooked that you usually see in tacos. No sir. I scarfed them all down and enjoyed each one. Not one complaint. My mission was a success. Not one complaint. My only constructive criticism would be for the trailer to turn down the music, as it seems it competes with a loud generator, and makes it hard to hear when ordering. As well as when your order is called out. I highly recommend this little taco trailer, and I will be back the next time I work in this area for breakfast time. Enjoy. read more

My 2nd time trying and my last. The first time I got the wrong order, not what I wanted but I will say it was very good so I gave the spot a 2nd try this morning around 8am. What appears to be the owner was busy with other tasks unloading a car etc so a young possibly a teenager was handling the orders. Several workers were standing around waiting for their orders. One guy picked up several bags as he must of paid for his whole work crew. I could see by his reaction to the bags of food he thought he received too many bags. I thought to myself I hope he did not get my bag by mistake. Sure enough a few min later he returned a bag. The young man looked thru the bag and then summoned me handing me the bag. I told him, "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING"...I'm sorry but I'm not going to eat food that has left the premises outta sight for several minutes then brought back (I applaud that guy's honesty) but my health is not worth 3 Ham & Egg Tacos!! Even all the surrounding workers were astonished that he would hand it to me and say "Here ya go" I'm sure they all were thinking, "Your not going to eat that are you" answer is NO, I tossed it in the garbage and will not go back. If who I am guessing is the owner he seems likes a nice & friendly enough guy. On my first visit he chatted with me about working at a nearby BBQ spot but sorry that is bad business practice to serve food that has left the premises. read more
