Each of the tacos was absolutely amazing! The green sauce is really good and not too spicy. The esquites was a little different than I'm used to and was a little more soupy, but also delicious! Horchata is horchata (one of my favorite drinks). Something I really need to talk about are the churros. I consider myself a churro connoisseur at this point, having had hundreds at sporting events, Disneyland, and other festivities. These churros were some of THE BEST CHURROS I have ever had! The location is interesting and tucked back away from the road. Can be hard to find. The tented area is a great place to sit and you kind of forget you are in a parking lot along a busy road. Address in the GPS, pulling up, it was a "Oh crap, how have I never noticed this?" Easy, its sort of behind Jacks, on the back end of the car dealers overflow lot! You, like I, will wonder if they take cards or if it's cash only, they definitely take cards. The means variety is on par with my favorite little taco shops. I chose the #1 Special with one each chicken, carnita and chorizo street taco with rice and beans. For drinks they have everything I ask for to qualify as authentic Mexican and believe it of not, I passed on the Horchata for once and ordered a Mandrian Jarritilos Mexican orange soda. My first bite of the chicken taco, yep, that's good! Next up was chorizo and a bit of a surprise, maybe a mix of chorizo and potato, or maybe a vegetable I am unfamiliar with. Not wrong, if anything possibly more authentic than I'd encountered. Finally the carnits, good if a little dry, nothing the included salsa didn't help with. Both the red and green sauces were as expected. Now we get into the part I didn't love, the beans, a very small serving with the distinct flavor of powdered milk. I despise powdered milk and when you do, the flavor just sorta leaps out at you. Again, I can see how in huge swaths of Mexico if you didn't own a cow, you might use powdered milk for everything. There was rice but after the beans, I don't really remember it. The eternal question, would I return? My initial reaction was sure, I just wouldn't order a combo that included beans, but then I started thinking about how many thing might have those beans, so probably not. I suspect I'd do nothing but search for the of putting flavor of powdered milk, so why bother? There are too many places nearby to go to a place for tacos and horchata... and I really enjoy good beans! Of course if the taste of powdered or nonfat mike isn't an issue for you, you might love the place.

A decent Selection of lunch menu offerings, I went with Chili Verde, pork in green sauce, eithucorn tortillas. We ordered chips and salsa, interesting because it's not complimentary as in so many Mexican places, is one hotter yellow sauce with pineapple, a typical medium sauce, and a mild, plus beans were ordered. The chips were gold, house made, the yellow sauce was definitely good, would probably be great on fish tacos, but the medium red was what I preferred with chips. Lunch arrived with the obligatory "hot plate" warning meaning it had bern in the oven. As always, I started by trying the rice and beans, v both were good enough I nearly finished them before even trying the Chili Verde. What was interesting here was I wanted to use the larger than average sized corn tortillas to get every bit of the verde sauce off the plate! Something, we were too busy talking to tell, was different. I don't ever remember wanting to sop all the sauce up with the tortillas before! Would I come back, yes, there is enough that looked interesting to return.
