Excellent food. Period. I'm from Los Angeles. This is fabulous, traditional Mexican street food. I would recommend this place to anyone with a tongue. The whole chicken is my favorite thing so far. The tacos are also outstanding. Meats are always flavorful and never dry. Ingredients are fresh and delicious. I love this place.

Authentic taqueria. It is now known as "Tacos y Mariscos Lindo Mexico" Reasonable prices and big portions. The grilled chicken is enough for two meals. The have the usual assortment of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, gorditas, and tortas. But they are know for mariscos. They serve shrimp or mixed seafood in fist sized cocktails or entry level tostadas. My favorite is the whole fried tilapia aka mojarra frita. Service is quick, seating is limited

pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty good

This place is perfect for an inexpensive dinner for two. Whole pollo asado, beans, rice, fixins and tortillas. $11. I think Larry David would say so himself. That's a pretty, pretty, pretty...pretty good deal. Oh, and did I mention the food is good.

Pastor, Asada & Pollo tacos with avocado.

As with any spot of this nature, their margarita and beer specials are always on point. In addition they do have a pretty stocked bar, so if one of those isn't what you want to wash down your enchiladas, then I am sure they got you. Parking for most places in this area of Gallatin Pike is pretty limited, so having a dedicated lot with a solid amount of spaces is nice here. There is a few overflow spots next door when it gets too full. Condition wise, Las Maracas has seen better days. Many of the booths are ripped, several ceiling tiles are damaged and stained, flooring is caked with worn in dirt and a bit of tables are wobbly. Food wise we have sampled a variety of things from the combinations, chilaquiles, burritos, quesadillas and of course the cheese dip. Food is standard, which is not a bad thing. It is exactly what we are after and what we expect each time we come here. Service is always hit and miss here, more so miss. We have been here three times now and not one time could be described as having "good" service. Overall, Las Maracas is a decent spot. Not the worst, and far from the best.

My hubby asked me what I wanted to eat and I told him I was craving for Sopa de Res so he searched for just that and this restaurant was one of the few that popped. He chose this restaurant because he reviewed the menu, he recognized a lot of the menu selections and he knew it had to be Guatemala cuisine. We are from Guatemala so it was a Bonus for us. The following is what we ordered; Sopa de Res-3 piezas de carne de res con vegetales, papas, elote y repollo con tortillas hechas a mano (Beef soup w/vegetables, corn, cabbage, served with homemade tortillas) Carne asada - con ensalada fría de coditos, longaniza, frijoles, jalapeños, cebollines, y tortillas hechas a mano (Grilled steak, spring onions w/macaroni salad, mashed black beans, grilled sausage and jalapeños) I have to say that we felt we were in Guatemala. The home cooking feeling was heartwarming. The food is so delicious. We were not disappointed. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service of the waiter, a young man, son of the owners, was excellent. He kept checking on us to see if we needed anything else or how we were. I honestly didn't want to leave. I was so content. We stayed a while and left a half hour before they closed. I wish they were closer to us. Thank you Emanuel Restaurant for your great cooking and excellent service.

I got the chicharron pupusas, which is done the El Salvadorian way- it's like shreds of pork meat, not fried pork skin. Easily one of the top pupusas, curtido (cabbage salad) and salsa I've had, and I've eaten them almost all my life in Los Angeles. The asada taco was filled to the brim w crisped up meat and their homemade tortillas were incredible. My husband had the Chile Rellenos and couldn't stop talking about it... not just how good those were but even their rice and beans! So much flavor! It seems like a lil family restaurant, it's clean and they were super friendly. Sometimes they even do menudo- but you'll have to call before the weekend to check. Yall, it's been tough finding food like this in TN. I am so so happy!

Nonetheless, it's worth searching for. In a word, it's vibrant. It's colorful and energetic atmosphere means this is not where you are going to go for a quiet romantic evening. The walls are beautifully adorned with hand-painted murals and paintings, creating a truly unique and inviting dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food! The fresh guacamole is a must-try - chunks of guacamole, perfectly seasoned, and made fresh. We opted for the street tacos with consomé as the main. Tasty and flavorful- authentic. Though, those looking for a healthier option may not find these to their liking. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect meal. And, like restaurants in Mexico, and the rest of world, they bring the machine to process credit card payments right to your table rather than take your card to God know where to run it. Amorcito Corazon is definitely worth a try. The prices are reasonable, the food is good, and service is great. Relaxed atmosphere with colorful murals and decor. Is worth mention they have a stage for shows and performers in some nights. Highly recommended

And nobody judges you for letting your kids run around a little. The food is always consistent, the drinks are good, and brunch is probably the best move. It's family-friendly in the way parents actually need a place to be family-friendly, not just because they technically allow children through the door. They're making the outside even better now with the renovation and additions, which is great because that patio already rules. Good food. Good drinks. Great outdoor space. I ordered the vegan burrito thinking I was about to receive the warm, tightly wrapped cylinder of comfort that has powered civilizations for centuries. Beans. Rice. Maybe some grilled veggies doing their thing. The classics. What arrived instead was... a philosophical question. Inside the tortilla was a sparse scattering of ingredients that looked less like a burrito filling and more like the evidence table after a burrito had already been eaten by someone else. A few beans wandering around with no clear sense of purpose. Rice that appeared to have been introduced to the concept of seasoning only briefly, perhaps in passing. Everything loosely contained in a tortilla that had clearly given up on life somewhere around the folding stage. I actually paused for a moment just staring at it, the way you might look at modern art and wonder if you're missing something important. But the real genius of this dish is the confidence. Because someone in that kitchen assembled this, looked down at their work, closed the box, and essentially said, "Yes. This is a burrito." And honestly? I respect it. As someone who never misses an opportunity to troll when the moment presents itself, I can only admire the audacity. Putting this in a box and sending it out into the world with a straight face deserves recognition. Was it a good burrito? Absolutely not. But was it memorable? Without question. In fact, it may be the most conceptual burrito I've ever had. 5 sexy stars.

First off, plenty of parking. Bonus. When you walk into the store, everything smells clean and fresh. The grocery section is well organized. The produce section is overflowing with fresh veggies that are well-priced. You can find most everything you are looking for at a grocery store. In the back of the store, they have a deli and a little taco shop. There are tables and chairs, so you can eat there or take your food to go. My husband got two Quesabirria Tacos and a side of rice and beans. I ordered three street-style tacos: Carnitas, Barbaco and Pescado, which was grilled. I also ordered a side of plantains. Throw in a bottle of water and the total bill was $31. There was so much food that I had to take the rice and beans, 2 tacos and my plantains home. I just could not eat any more! They have housemade salsa that they sell in pint containers. The Salsa Verde was so delicious that I have been putting it on all my food this past week. It's spicy but not overpowering. I'm going back just to get more of that salsa! Reading the comments from the Instragram post, people told the IG poster not to give away locals' secrets. This definitely is a hidden gem!
