I was in the area and found this cute little hole in the wall and I was not disappointed. I tried the Caldo de Res which was a huge scrumptious soup with a hearty portion of beef perfect for a freezing night. The Pollo Asada was perfectly marinated and smoked with all the accompaniments of rice, beans, salad etc. But the best part was the service! The staff are the stars of this establishment. If I'm ever in the area, I will for sure return

Very cute restaurant! The smoker out front pulls you in with aroma. The service is impeccable. Very clean. Tasty authentic food. Highly recommend a stop here!

Tacos Y Mariscos Linda Mexico is the epitome of hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant located in a nondescript building that has definitely seen better days. The parking lot is very tight and I was glad that I found a parking spot by the entrance and I backed in the spot. Walking in, I found myself anticipating a fantastic meal. I am a firm believer that the best Mexican food does not come from higher end restaurants with a focus on ambiance and vibe, but rather the best Mexican food I have found comes from humble little mom-and-pop type places like this. My server was great. She was friendly and outgoing. She definitely added to my overall positive experience here. Looking at the menu, I opted to go with four tacos. I got a spicy pork, a beef and two chorizo. Let me also point out that the tacos were $2.25 each. They brought two sauces, a red and green. Both were great, though I preferred the spicier green. The tacos themselves were incredible, as well. I would definitely recommend here and I will give it five stars.

I love this neighborhood spot. I've tried many dishes and they are all amazing. The burrito is large and filling. The half chicken comes with lettuce, lime, pico, and tortillas and was enough for me to save some for later. Perfect place for me to practice my Spanish as everyone is friendly (there are also English speaking staff). There are two rooms with seating and a bar.

Great carne asada tacos & quesabirria! Servers were nice, parking lot filled up and is a little tight. Only three stars because they do not give you chips and salsa for free, and I would not recommend the chicken burrito.

Went here with my husband last night and absolutely loved it!!! Great service, wonderful food, and a super reasonable price, very clean place and I absolutely love all of the paintings!! Everything was painted wall chairs inside outside. It was so bright, colorful and festive. 100% will be back very soon!

Service was good. The tacos were great! I really liked what we had here, and especially enjoyed trying it during Nashville Taco Week. I think there would not be anything worth changing at all since they obviously know what they do best! They do delicious fish tacos, and ceviche tacos! I did not know ceviche tacos are a thing, but they can be and are. This is worth another visit and in the near future. I was totally blown away!

This place is as authentic Mexican as you can get. It's a little out of the way, but in my opinion WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. Ok let's start off with ambience, the decor is vibrant and fun and the place is very clean which is always a plus. Staff is attentive and accommodating which is another plus for me. This place is located in a little strip mall but you can't miss it with its vibrant pink and black colors with hand painted Mexican traditional artwork. Now let's get down to what you're really here to find out... Is the food worth the drive?.. One Thousand percent yes. They have all the typical Mexican drinks you would expect (yes they have Jarritos), yay! I came here with my brother in law and my hubby. We started off with the Choriqueso with chips and it was the perfect amount of cheesiness, spice, and savory chorizo in each bite. It wasn't super greasy which I appreciated. The chips were warm and freshly fried with the perfect amount of salt. Then each of us ordered the quesobirria tacos and man oh man, these tacos were special. The shell was tender, but had a slight crunch, perfect amount of cheese and the meat was so tender and flavorful. It comes with a bowl of their consomé and all the fixings to put in each taco. It came with perfectly minced onions, cilantro and scallions.. plus they served it with some delicious grilled onions. Every bite was full of flavor! And the consomé, omg I wanted to drink the whole bowl. But I restrained myself . They give you two different sauces for the table, the green sauce is creamy, flavorful and packs a spicy punch with jalapeños and chiles. I didn't try the second one, sorry guys. All in all, if you're in Nashville, have a car and don't mind the drive, come to this spot and grab some seriously delicious Mexican food! You will not regret it.

Parking for most places in this area of Gallatin Pike is pretty limited, so having a dedicated lot with a solid amount of spaces is nice here. There is a few overflow spots next door when it gets too full. Condition wise, Las Maracas has seen better days. Many of the booths are ripped, several ceiling tiles are damaged and stained, flooring is caked with worn in dirt and a bit of tables are wobbly. Food wise we have sampled a variety of things from the combinations, chilaquiles, burritos, quesadillas and of course the cheese dip. Food is standard, which is not a bad thing. It is exactly what we are after and what we expect each time we come here. Service is always hit and miss here, more so miss. We have been here three times now and not one time could be described as having "good" service. Overall, Las Maracas is a decent spot. Not the worst, and far from the best.

The service of the waiter, a young man, son of the owners, was excellent. He kept checking on us to see if we needed anything else or how we were. I honestly didn't want to leave. I was so content. I ordered the vegan burrito thinking I was about to receive the warm, tightly wrapped cylinder of comfort that has powered civilizations for centuries. Beans. Rice. Maybe some grilled veggies doing their thing. The classics. What arrived instead was... a philosophical question. Inside the tortilla was a sparse scattering of ingredients that looked less like a burrito filling and more like the evidence table after a burrito had already been eaten by someone else. A few beans wandering around with no clear sense of purpose. Rice that appeared to have been introduced to the concept of seasoning only briefly, perhaps in passing. Everything loosely contained in a tortilla that had clearly given up on life somewhere around the folding stage. I actually paused for a moment just staring at it, the way you might look at modern art and wonder if you're missing something important. But the real genius of this dish is the confidence. Because someone in that kitchen assembled this, looked down at their work, closed the box, and essentially said, "Yes. This is a burrito." And honestly? I respect it. As someone who never misses an opportunity to troll when the moment presents itself, I can only admire the audacity. Putting this in a box and sending it out into the world with a straight face deserves recognition. Was it a good burrito? Absolutely not. But was it memorable? Without question. In fact, it may be the most conceptual burrito I've ever had. 5 sexy stars.
