We had an amazing experience at Tacosteño. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The octopus tacos were tender and perfectly seasoned, the green spaghetti with shrimp was unique and delicious, and the fish empanadas were crisp and full of flavor. The aguachiles were bright and refreshing, with just the right kick. The mezcal drinks were excellent as well -- balanced and very well crafted. You can really tell everything is made fresh. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service was poor. We waited quite a while before our waitress came to take our order, and throughout the meal she rarely checked on us or asked if we needed anything. I ordered the aguachiles, but the tostadas and crackers that normally accompany the dish were never brought out. My fiancé ordered a michelada, and after reminding the waitress three separate times, he finally received his drink. Another issue is that the restaurant is cash only, but there was no sign posted at the entrance letting customers know ahead of time. A simple notice at the door would save customers from an inconvenient surprise. The food itself wasn't enough to make up for the lack of service. Found this place on TikTok and it lived up to the hype and that's pretty hard to do. Everything was great from service to the food. I really enjoyed the tacos Al Pastor and the mulita de pastor it was well marinated the torre de Mariscos was very good very fresh the aguas were good as well. Mixed feelings about my first time trying this place. Came in on Father's Day for dinner so that may be part of the reason it was so busy. Either way we waited in the car 15 min for a seat than over an hour for our food which was pretty mid but I think we probably didn't get their most outstanding dishes to begin with (the camarones estilo Nayarit and the botana tropical). What makes for a bad experience was that service lacked throughout the whole time we were there and apparently they don't provide cups of water only bottled ($2.50 each) which like why?? I will say the cucumber lemonade was really good-- a bit sweeter than I would like but we still enjoyed it. Also the octopus was cooked well and didn't have a rubbery texture All in all not planning on going back anytime soon as there's plenty of mariscos spots that deserve the business. If you plan on trying it maybe do a date/time that they can actually accommodate. read more

Honestly the worst service I've ever experienced funny part was we were the only people in the restaurant and it took 20 mins alone to get drinks when the drinks finally came she forgot 2 of them no apology or anything forgot half our food takes 30 mins for beans and rice when the place is empty and I see why it's empty now food bland and over priced gratuity added to party's of 4 i can see why they tip themselves they wouldn't get any tips if they didn't all Around this place was terrible and we try new restaurants very often they would rather stare at you instead of bringing you your check lol read more

Their food trucks are known for their scrumptious tacos that are bursting in flavor and melt in your mouth! My personal favorite, al pastor. The mulitas were amazing. So much meat in it. It was a little greasy but the taste was awesome. I was full after just 1. My grandson could only eat 2 of the 3 tacos and even though the beans looked a little runny with no cheese he said it was really good. Other grandson could only eat half of his burrito. Decided to take my family to try this place out. When looking at the menu I seen that prices were really high compared to other Mexican restaurants around the area. Food honestly in mines and wife's opinion wasn't the best. I really don't think I'll be coming back to this restaurant service was not terrible but wasn't the greatest. Also for you guys to know, they do charge the tip in there for you so don't be surprised. I really think that's wrong especially if you have a small family of 4 in my case.
