I love Taffy's! Good pizza topping options. They have trivia night, seasonal movie nights, a fireplace, an ARCADE, a great party, and book shelves stocked with kid's books. It's good for large groups and super family friendly. I have always had great service. We always get their dry rub wings and we ask for the pizza with "dirty crust", it means they throw Italian spice blend on there. Great tasting pizza. So glad we took the gamble to eat here. Spent the day in Santa Barbara and found them online since we were right up the street. What a great decision. Ordered a large Taffy's Special and a Regular cheese for the kids. Took it to the beach to eat since the weather was perfect. The pizzas were so light and fresh tasting, didn't even realize how much we ate until they were gone. There was the perfect balance of toppings, sauce, cheese and crust. It was all extremely tasty. The toppings had a very clean taste as well which is probably why we couldn't stop eating. The staff was very helpful and kind and made the entire experience enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back when in the area to try some of the other amazing flavors they have on their menu. read more

Nice little spot! I went here because supposedly they have the best wings in town. I can confirm, the wings are the best in town. The only caveat is that there isn't much "competition" but the wings are definitely worth it. The dry rub is widely praised and I liked those a lot. The traditional buffalo wings are also very good. The pizza is different than rustys and Woodstock. The crust is minimal, which makes the pizza easier to eat. The toppings/sauce gives a taste reminiscent to frozen pizza which I don't mean in a bad way. Light of cheese and toppings, the pizza here is not going to make you feel too full. Taffy's has good deals for locals and an assortment of good beers on tap. Love this place. read more

Taffy's is great! They've been in SB for a while, and consistently have awesome pizza. I've had the pepperoni, cheese, and Canadian pizza, and they've all been great. We also really like their bread sticks as well. They have a great game area inside (during non-COVID times), and a really nice patio in the back. Their service is also awesome. I picked up our food and totally forgot to bring a mask to wear inside, but they let me pay over the phone and brought the food outside. Overall, I've had a great experience every time I've visited, and definitely recommend it! read more

The dry rub wings are the best wings in town. Trivia outside on the patio is fun too and it's convenient since you can eat dinner simultaneously. They have a strong selection of beers on tap. It's a great local pizza spot and they even have a locals discount. All the guys we've ever interacted with there are very relaxed and friendly. The pizza is not my favorite but it's not bad. The best thing about Taffy's is that you can use your Axxess card here, they have a wide selection to choose from and the portions are large. It's also family friendly. Parking, atmosphere, taste and cost are all okay. Unfortunately, let's just say I had some GI problems after eating there, but I've eaten there before with no problems before so I'm sure this was just a one-time thing. read more

I visited SB for medical reasons and wanted pizza one night. I tried Taffy's based on reviews and was not disappointed. I'm not a fan of 80%bread and 20% toppings, so the reversal was a treat. The portions are huge (I got to finish the wife's cause it was too big ) , they have a Gold tea iced tea machine and coke fountain drinks and a super nice enclosed patio. Great neighborhood pizza spot! I've been coming here for so many years, and the quality has been consistent. Their pesto breadsticks when dipped in marinara sauce are also a great addition to their pizza! The people are always very nice when I go in there, and they usually get your pizza ready very quickly. I usually get take out, but I did stay and eat here once in their courtyard eating area, which was very nice! They also serve beer to enjoy with your pizza. read more

We decided to get pizza the other night and just recently bought a Santa Barbara Axxess card. So we search pizza spots and Taffy's looked like the tastiest option. Especially since the oven there is wood burning! We ordered a pretty plan pizza (half cheese and half pepperoni). When we got our pizza it was hot and smelt amazing! The wood burning really added to the flavor and we loved every bite! Also the pizza was very well priced since we got to use the Axxess card. Longtime Santa Barbara restaurant with some great food! I recently started patronizing Taffy's for their Tuesday night trivia - this was pre-Covid. I've driven by countless times but had never stopped to dine here. What a gem of a venue. The front room is tight and there may typically be a line as it's where the ordering takes place. The staff are friendly and the line, if there is one, typically cycles quickly. There are a variety of choices along with an impressive selection of local beer on tap. I'm a huge fan of their breadsticks as well as their wings. I'm not a wing guy, either, but the ones made here are delicious! The pizzas, of course, are very good as well. There are a few sections to sit and enjoy your food but I'm partial to their back patio. It's very spacious and feels like a total retreat with nice mature landscaping. It's a peaceful area and rather unexpected for being on such a busy road. Parking can be tight but you can usually find a street spot within a block. Can't wait for Tuesday night trivia to start back up! I look forward to coming back here soon. read more

This is a great local pizza place - that offers a lot more than just pizza. Upon entering the restaurant you step up to a counter where you order your food. Due to the many pizza options listed on the chalkboard behind the counter, I was under the impression they only had pizza, but after we ordered I noticed a menu holder over on the side of the counter. Upon inspection I discovered they also offer appetizers, salad, hot and cold sandwiches as well as several entrees. We ordered the Taffy's Special pizza (Pepperoni, Italian sausage, bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, olives, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce). It was made fresh and took about 15 minutes to arrive at our table. The toppings were generous and it was baked to a golden brown. I would recommend Taffy's Pizza to anyone looking for a good/casual pizza joint. read more

We haven't ordered for some time but we'd been across town in an errand and decided to order up, excited to get our usual old favorite: Taffy's Special pizza and Caesar salad. It's too bad we didn't check it until we got home and determined there is seriously something wrong at Taffy's. The pizza had almost no sauce, bald in a couple of spots, toppings very very sparse. Not at all the Taffy's Special we knew and loved The salad dressing was so incredibly oily it separated and couldn't shake it back into anything other than gag-worthy. Nearly zero Parmesan on the lettuce too. To say we were disappointed is nowhere near accurate. The only reason we didn't call them and ask for replacement was a very tired family, and it would have been a long drive back and forth. So sad. read more

I never knew about Taffy's till today. I decided to try it on a whim and because of my axxess card and I happened to be in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by all the character of the restaurant. Also, how friendly the staff was despite my use of an axxess card (take note other business). I honestly never would have know about this place without it. I ordered two entree buy one get one free with my card. I know I'm terrible so I felt bad and out of curiosity I also got the pizza slice combo. Holy cow so much food. The slice was huge and filled there personal pan pizza box. I ask for mushrooms on my slice and to my amazement they were not stingy with the fungus. Most other place put a few, they piled it on. They even put cornmeal on the bottom of the dough which made me think of Massachusetts (shout out Papa Gino's). The lasagna made with a good amount ricotta cheese which honestly most California place are lacking. I felt like I was in New York at a little red sauce Italian spot. The meatball sub had pepper and onions on it that I could do without but still solid all round. I plan on telling all my friend about the eolte pizza they have on special that I didn't notice on there comical and informative chalkboard taking up a whole wall when you come in. Taffy's Pizza is my favorite Pizza place in town. It's in a great location on 2026 De La Vina Street near Cottage Hospital. There is plenty of room for parking. There are plenty of tables and even a large patio outside with a large seating area. It's a perfect place to have a birthday party or group celebration. The pizza is fabulous. It has a nice crispy crust with plenty of delicious sauce and very fresh toppings. The restaurant is clean and cheery. There are several TVs to watch and also a small game room. The nice gentleman who takes our order is super friendly and helpful. The breadsticks come with a delicious marinara sauce and ranch dressing. Everything we ordered was totally delicious. I would have given less than 1 star if given the option. I called to have pizza delivered. I am at cottage hospital, from out of the area. My 22 month old sons appendix ruptured. I asked if they delivered, he responded yes. The man asked if I was a "worker" I said no, my son is a patient. He said no delivery for me and hung up. I was absolutely willing to go and pick it up. The man didn't even give me the option. I can not believe that a small business close to a children trauma hospital would respond in such a manner. Taffy's is back! I used to love coming here as a kid though most recently it seemed the quality had gone downhill in the past few years. Not anymore! My son and I ate here the other night and everything was perfect. The pepperoni pizza was delicious, flawlessly baked with the cheese melted and pepperoni crispy yet not sliding off the dough. The large chef's salad was packed with tons of fresh ham and turkey and complimented with the best ranch dressing this side of the Mississippi. And the breadsticks...I don't think I've ever had breadsticks like this in my life, both soft and steamy which crispy and crunchy at the same time, served up with warm marinara and more of that delicious ranch dressing I was raving about.
