Trota Al Limone (trout lemon caper sauce). Boscaiola pizza (fresh mozzerella, mushrooms and fennel sausage)

Another great meal at Olio Pizzeria. Their pizzas are the best in town and we love the Trota Al Limone (trout in butter, lemon and caper sauce).

The pizza bread! I could live on this stuff!

This place is a spectacular gem!! It's the casual, alley accessed, sassy little sister of the big shot Olio Restaurant which is attached but located on the main street. Service was top notch! Food was extremely good! We started with the charcuterie board (antipasto misto), pizza bread (Pane alle Erbe), and mozzarella caprese. The crust on the pizza bread will beckon you to get a pizza! Their version of pepperoni is the Diavola, it has some heat and the aforementioned delicious crust! The Bolognese pasta terrific too. Overall, a great experience and we will return.

Enjoyed a great cocktail - the Martini all'Olio- to start while perusing the menu. (Yummy concoction of vodka, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, fresh basil and EVOO...yes very different but delicious!) The Focaccia Al Formaggio (made with fontina and parmigiana cheeses) was delicious And the Spaghetti Con Polpettine ('Im 'picky' about meatballs) was superb! Compliments to the chef, the bartender Rose, and all for another super delicious meal in a causal yet upscale and lively atmosphere! Busy on weekends so make a reservation!

Gluten free prosciutto and arugula pizza

We ate at Olio Pizzeria when visiting Santa Barbara in April 2024. Ordered a gluten free crust but the pizza that was brought out looked too good to be GF. I checked with the waiter and he confirmed it was GF. I was still skeptical so I flagged down another waiter to double check. Turns out the wrong pizza was delivered to our table and it was not a GF crust. I'm glad I trusted my gut but this could have been an unfortunate incident. When we got the correct pizza it was delicious and fresh. We also had to wait an hour to pay because the credit card machines went down and we didn't have enough cash on us. Overall the restaurant is located in a cute venue but our experience was not great

our dinner was outrageous. It's the most gourmet pizzeria you'll ever find. Of course they specialize in some great pizzas and we have the seafood pizza which was outstanding. However, they have other great choices from the burrata salad, beet salad, white bean soup with a tomato base and our favorite was the grilled Branzino with roasted potatoes and vegetables. Just off the charts and definite must visit on your next trip to Santa Barbara. Don't miss the tiramisu to end your fabulous meal.

Diavola pizza, Umbra pizza & gemelli luganega pasta

A pretty solid and cute dinner spot! We got the umbra & diavola wood fire pizzas and the gemelli luganega and they were all pretty tasty. the umbra pizza was our favorite - very strong mushroom and truffle flavor. The diavola pizza was a little on the salty side, but still solid. The pasta was pretty as expected - good flavor but nothing special! Each dish was around $25-28. If you're walking on state street and craving pizza, definitely check it out!

Wanna have an experience? Let me take you on this journey with me my friend. Dinner for two: Mezzo Litro of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo / La Quercia / Abruzzo / 2021. perfect to pair with any pasta pizza meats or seafood. Starter: Di Sanguinello (arugula fennel and blood orange) The sausage and mushroom pasta "Gemelli Luganega". Mare Chiaro pizza (just trust me)

Located next to their sister restaurant, olio pizzeria offers an extensive variety of appetizers and pizzas. They offer both beers and wine from Italy as well as other cocktails. The meats and cheeses is filling and enough to share as an appetizer for about four people-extremely filling for two. Do keep in mind that the bread is separate. Their carbonara pizza is one of the best in town. The tropea pizza has onions that are sweet along with sausage-the toppings are sufficient for the size of the pizza. Pizza size is filling for two persons as well. The service was good as the waiters were attentive and we were seated right away. They have both indoor and outside seating. There are heaters if seated outside on a chilly night. Their manhattan was more than enough just to have one and the amalfi dream is more on the refreshing side.

The cocktail menu had some clever mixes, and the wine menu offered plenty (maybe even too many) suggestions. SERVICE - Overall service was attentive and effective. The staff worked with our needs and handled a couple of unexpected situations (a couple in our party unexpectedly showing up with their kids in tow) with aplomb. AMBIANCE - While you can't really see much of the ocean, the front windows face it from across the closest street, and the sense of it being there (especially with the windows open) counts for a lot. The house itself is upscale decorated and set. VALUE - Upscale and food and service matches the upscale prices, but it felt like we got worth for what what paid. We paid a bit over $100 a person -- but that included cocktails and wine (and the two kids, who got plates of their own). NET-NET - We're not locals, but Toma is definitely going on our list for any future visits we make to Santa Barbara.

I love the thin crusts of their pizzas because it doesn't leave you feeling too heavy even if you ate the whole pizza (aka, no food coma crash despite the carbs). Tried the Caserta Pizza (5/5) It's made with double flor di latte sauce base that gives it creaminess. Then topped with Italian sausage, garlic pecorino, basil, smoked provolone cheese, and Calabrian chili. The sausage was savory, and the cheese was melty and of good quality. You can taste the mild spice from the chili flakes and the herbal-ness from the basil. Add-on some of their housemade chili oil sauce for an additional spice kick. Service was professional and courteous. We had a great time and really enjoyed our dine-in experience here. We'll be coming back to try out other flavors for sure.

We had a couple workers walk by without asking, but he was so kind enough to make us comfortable. The drinks we ordered were so refreshing. We ordered the Costa Blanca, De Aqui, and the Bengala de Granada. The drinks were so crisp that it almost felt like a palette cleanser. The yellowtail crudo was perfectly balanced between sweet and citrusy. The oysters looked spicy but were pleasantly mild! The octopus was tender and soft.
