TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! 1. I needed a link taken out of a watch, they charged me $10! All you have to do is put a pin in it and push it out and I didn't have a small enough pin. 2. I brought 4 watches to get the battery changed and they charged me $50!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?! I should have listened to my mom and went to Walmart for the batteries. So over priced. I spend 60$ on barely anytning. I will never come back here and definitely advise everyone to not go here either. Way overpriced for jobs that took 5 min to do and batteries that don't cost that much. I won't be coming back. read more

My gf loves this place of course she knows nothing about buying jewelry. So I will start with my first purchase a minor deal. Minor meaning i spent a couple of hundred. Went well but the next experience is why I would say run. Shopping for engagement rings and knowing quite a bit then most I went in with her and they showed me uncertified diamonds that were unbelievably bad. Clarity Color and even the cut seemed off if there was any reflection at all on a clouded set of diamonds. Hard to tell anyway. Since I was with her I told them. I have no intention of showing her what i pay and purchasing something so expensive on impulse. The pushiness they encountered me with then turned to her. I strongly recommend staying clear of this place. I judge a place not by what they have but how they sell. If they are confident in their prices and ability to make a rep for themselves. They should not need to be pushy and try to force someone into a sale. Furthermore. Everything I asked. I knew she just plain lied. I know you can only trust GIA and GSA certified diamonds all others are scrupulous at best. Ifi gsl etc. they are known to be bad. It is true u can save on an uncertified diamond but then u are trusting the seller way too much to be honest that the 4c's are what they say they are. And with here. Trust nothing. So all and all. First of all. These people commenting sound way to fake for their actual potential over at East Rutherford Jewelry Exchange. It's not great and does not even hold medium brand name jewelry let alone top brand jewelry. I wouldn't call it a place to buy an engagement ring, that's for sure. But anyways, today 12/27/14 I had picked up my $1000 Movado (which they don't even sell) from them just to get a few links taken off. $10 for 3 links to get taken off really isn't a horrible deal. So when I get home I put the watch on one more time just to see and the pin came right out and dropped right onto the floor with the watch! So I rush back right away and obviously I am a tad angry but i kept it cool at first. Asked the woman nicely for the manager and what the problem was so I follow her back to the back with the manager and they are whispering to each other. As they see me they cover up what they're doing. I ask the owner/manager why this happened and he blamed the manufacturer right away and how he had no idea what happened and why. Meanwhile I put the watch on a hundred times before I even dropped it off at the ERJE and it never fell off nor felt unsturdy. So we got into a bit of a dispute and he just stopped answering and gave me my money back. He didn't try to take any responsibility for what had happened. To be totally honest, he could have handled it a million different ways other than just stop answering. If this is how he is on a $10 repair. Think about something in the $100's If you have a problem. He'll probably lock the doors on you. I'm a local in the town and I'll say this much, he won't last to long here with that type of business.
