Tui Na focuses on bones, blood flow and joints which is more of a chinese medical massage. It is not relaxing or comfortable. It has been a challenge finding a place to go to after Health Trail closed down. I've been to many others ever since and today I found Yuan Shi and they are what I've been searching for. I now have bad knees and back pains. I came in on a Sunday and got an hour of the Chinese full body Tui Na. Michael was my masseuse and little dude is strong. He was able to pinpoint all my pain areas and proceeded to roll, press, stretch and kneed it to death. The more squirming I did and wincing from pain, the harder he went. I wanted to stop showing my pain just so he would stop sometimes. But as the guy at Health Trail said, "No pain, No gain". The timer went off after and hour and he continued working my back for another 5 minutes. I really appreciated it, as he knew I was in need of this session. 1 hour was $50, and I tipped $20. He really earned every dollar. Im sore from the bruising but my back pains are relieved right now. I'm considering buying the certificate. 10 sessions for $500 upfront and comes with 3 free massages. This seems really worth it in my opinion. I'm definitely coming back again.

She didn't have me flip over but I got exactly what I needed so I felt no way about that. When she was done, she thanked me and I proceeded to get dressed and be on my way. Apparently because I booked 90 minute sessions in the past on my card, those apparently only counted as 60 minutes for the purposes of the card. The attitude of the lady at the front desk made me feel belittled and ruined the experience. Worse yet, after I left and checked the time, I realized I only got 60 minutes. Basically I paid for a 90 minute massage and received a 60 minute massage when I should have paid for 30 minutes and received 90 minutes. I basically overcharged by $85 today...
