So we just used this place for boarding for the second time. First time we didn't have any issues. This time we asked for our puppy to be bathed, nails done, etc. while she stayed over. When I picked her up today 10/22/22, the girl asked if was just the boarding and I explained she was supposed be bathed. I was told a simple, "Sorry we didn't bathe her." That's was it...once I got home I noticed an odor of urine my wife immediately smelled it as well and also noticed that her paws were red. We called our regular groomer (who had Tail Waggin Ranch and others on a list of preferred boarding options) and she was able to get us in right away. She explained that the redness was most likely from her sitting/laying in urine for an extended period of time. When we went to pick her up she explained that the bath water was "Horrendous". She apologized even though she had nothing to do with it and explained that after seeing the condition of our puppy they will be removing them from the list of preferred boarders. We did call and ask to speak to the owner and was told they aren't there very often but the manager would give us a call back. Still haven't heard from anyone and that was about 3 hours ago.

My dog got Pneumonia from tail wagon ranch as well as multiple other dogs. I'm attaching some other examples of people who's pets have been put down or gotten sick from this place.

My wife and I were apprehensive about putting our dog with a pet sitter while vacationing, as she has never been away from us and wasn't socialized with other dogs other than the occasional trip to the dog park. The staff at Tail Waggin' Ranch was very welcoming and the availability of cameras really put us at ease. In one short week, they got to know Piper by name and she was good and tired at the end each day. We recommend and will definitely use again in the future.

Three times we've taken our dogs to this place. Each time, we'd asked that they be groomed and it was not done. The weekend of January 18 we dropped them off while we were out of town. One came one with kennel cough..then she began to get fat - she was pregnant. We contacted Tail Waggin Ranch several times wanting to know what unfixed males they exposed her to (which they never denied) and they said that she played with a n Australian Shepherd shepherd. Five puppies were born on March 23. Now the employees refuse to connect us to the owner,..through our polite repeated requests (and subsequent denials) the staff has become accusatory and downright rude. All we ask is for direct contact with the owner.

Just a day at the ranch. Terrible for parents to see, with nonchalant workers there to explain it was just "playing"

I take my Doberman pinscher here frequently during the summer! The staff is awesome and you can really tell they love being around dogs!

    Wild Child Dog Training

Wish I took my dog to receive training from Wild Child from the very beginning! I have so much…read moreregrets paying hundreds of dollars on another training facility instead of taking him here. I was referred to Wild Child from our local PetSmart. I inquired through email for their Stay and Train program as I wanted my dog to be boarded but also not forget his training or pick up bad habits. My dog stayed here for 5 days. I obsessively stalked their Instagram for updates as they post cute videos of my dog once a day. I can tell he was well taken care of and so happy to be there. Upon pickup, I felt like my dog was a new boy! They worked on him with door manners and he doesn't bolt out the door. My other concern was jumping on people. We passed by a man and my dog actually sat down right in front of him and got lots of pets! I was so impressed!! My dog also seemed more relaxed. He was a hyper furball who needed to be up and running 24/7 before I dropped him off at Wild Child. Now he's okay with laying down and chilling. He is also fine with taking naps in his crate now! He used to bark for hours on end when I crate him during the day. I can't wait to take him back. My dog seemed very sad to leave this facility and I'm sure he would be so thrilled to return. Thank you for taking great care of my furbaby.

I joined with WCDT for puppy training with my little guy Odin. I wanted a trainer specifically that…read moredidn't soley rely on shock collar training due to the small size of my dog (as well as I knew I would not be comfortable following through with that type of training at home). From my first conversation, this decision was never met with an issue in our communications which was my reason for moving forward with training my pup with this fabulous duo. There was great communication, and lots of post regarding my Odin's progress between in person visits. My wants in training were clearly defined, discussed and implemented over his in-stay with the facility. I had some reservations with my tiny 3lb spoiled puppy with his paw lotion, eye wipes and holiday themed attire amongst giant working dogs at first; but it was shortly deemed irrelevant as he decided he was just a big dog in disguise disputing my attempts otherwise lol! I am very grateful for the leadership, knowledge and help WCDT has given myself and my pup. Taking on a new puppy was not part of my 2025, and I am very appreciative of the advice and knowledge extended with the program offered. (As well as the minor therapist sessions in listening to me talk about my dog that had recently passed; I appreciate that more than I can express.) I would 100% recommend!
