My girlfriend and I went here for their Pumpkin Fest event and it was a lot of fun! This was my first time going and the space is huge. They have a lot of space indoors and outside, as well as a shed that is a combo indoor/outdoor space. This place is great for watching sport on Sunday with friends and ordering some beers and bite. The "duchess" decrees: general tsao specialty pizza rules and the GRAPEFRUIT APRICOT cider is their best concoction yet! Hazy, tart, & delicious! We love the Hawaiian and Caprese and meat lovers and "hot chicken" pizzas--our favorites from the regular menu. Great crust flavor, kinda thin with bubbly/chewy crust, I know people love the taco pizza but we found it TOO salty. I know peeps love the wings, but I prefer mine more crispy/less floppy. Would love more than one cider choice on Bellevue menu, especially with the advent of pushing mug club out to cider lovers. We were vising Nashville and the Music Row location was within walking distance of our VRBO. We decided to check it out based on convenience and it turned out to be one of our favorite experiences! There's indoor and outdoor seating, we sat in the covered patio, which was perfect. The pizzas and beer were AMAZING! We ordered the whipped ricotta pizza (based on reviews) and it was DELICIOUS. But our favorite was the Nashville Hot Chicken with Mac - Incredible. Also got a flight of beer, all 4 beers were great! The only thing better than the food and beer was the service. All of the employees we interacted with were awesome! A special shout-out to Chip and Roger for your great service. We made quite a few modifications to our pizzas and Chip was very patient, helpful and kind. If I lived closer I'd definitely be a regular and probably join the mug club. Within the last few years, this place has steadily jacked up their prices to the point where I feel ripped off every time I go. Yes, I still go. Please bring back more than two $5 options, and allow me to enjoy my pint in a glass outside...because when I'm offered a plastic cup filled with 2" of foam when I'm paying $8 for a beer (again, the horror...what is this, LA?), I'm not far off flinging my drink down the hill and just slumming it at home with a 6 pack from Kroger for the same price as one beer at Tailgate. Tailgate has always been a favorite of ours to go to throughout the year. When the COVID-19 pandemic began they made it an easy transition for us to still get our favorite food through curbside delivery. It's a simple as placing your order online, and Colleen their phone number to let them know you're outside. Staff encourage social distancing, and they still provide outdoor seating. This is an original Nashville craft brewery with possibly the most variety and best imagination of all of them. They always have a ton of options and a staff who really seems to love the product and the people they interact with. The place can be a little overly populated with kids at times, but it is nicely friendly to families as well as younger adult hip crowds. They have several events and special days on their calendar that are popular and very fun, utilizing their ample outdoor spaces well. The food is tasty and fairly priced, the parking is reasonable and free, and the location is just off the beaten path enough to be away from it all but not in the middle of nowhere. read more

I've come to talk about the Peanut Butter Milk Stout. Milk Stouts are typically my second favorite type of beer. So many have coffee notes that are delightful. I now want nothing to do with them because this Peanut Butter Stout has changed my life and made me a better person. It's smooth, creamy, and has the right sweetness I would expect from a good peanut butter. The restaurant in this Brewery was awesome. We had garlic knots, boneless chicken wings, and the Taco Pizza. The boneless chicken was a good appetizer with a nice amount of flavors to choose from, I suggest the Nashville Hot. The Garlic Knots were the size of a fist filled with cheese. The Taco Pizza is labeled as one of the favorites on the menu and it's clear why that is. The cheese base is *chef's kiss* amazing. It's a non traditional pie that is worth coming back for. The layout of this space and the decor is great. So many breweries aim for the stainless steel or wooden everything vibes. This place is open and covered in nerdy artwork. The ceiling is tall, the room is big, and it feels like a nice place to hang out. Trivia night on Thursday was awesome. 35 teams were there our night, so be prepared for a challenge. My friends live close to here, so when I visit, it's my new suggested place to go. read more

Cool spot in back called The Barn where you can watch games ( Predator game this past weekend) and bring food from inside the brewery ( not your own food.) We are from out of town looked up dog friendly restaurants and this place popped up. So we drove the 30 min from where we are staying and what a disappointment we went out to the covered patio and there was no wait staff to attend to the people out there we sat down and waited 20 minutes before we left. How are we to order food and drinks if nobody comes out and dogs are not allowed in the main building. I would not recommend this place if you come alone. You need to have two people with you so that at least one person can walk into the main building and order your food and drinks or else you won't get anything. read more

I haven't been to Tailgate in a while since starting the keto diet. I figured it was safer for me to keep my distance from pizza. Then I was invited to a birthday party here and pulled up the menu to see what the salad options were, assuming that was my only choice. Then, I saw it. CAULIFLOWER CRUST!!! I've had cauliflower crust before, its usually a sad, soggy, poor textured replacement for bread. But not at Tailgate!! This was the best texture, flavor and consistency to hold up to pizza toppings. I had the Caprese Pizza + sausage on cauliflower crust. It held together nicely and was more cohesive with the toppings than pizza dough typically is. And I love bread. I would swap out for cauliflower crust in the future every time, even if it's more money. Maybe someday it will be available in the medium or large size too. I don't drink beer. Yet, here I am reviewing a brewery because I love TailGate that much. I can't tell you about their very large and creative selections of beer, but I can tell you they have some of the best pizza in town. It is magical however they prepare their crust. They have a good assortment of pies as well as an extra special pie of the month which we always look so forward to seeing. A few months back they had a Jalapeno Popper pizza which my boyfriend is still begging them to bring back permanently. This month it was a very spicy "Hop Chicken" pizza. Their cauliflower crust pizza is equally as delicious as their amazing regular crust. There is also a gluten-free crust option and there is enough customization that those who don't eat meat can have a fantastic meal. They do have an array of sandwiches, pastas, and carb-loaded appetizers to add on to your food coma inducing meal. I mean this all in a very, very positive way. So, if you are avoiding a trip to Tailgate because you don't drink or aren't a fan of beer don't rule it out! Their pizza is worth it, the taproom is lively and fun (they have game nights, trivia, paint-by-pint, etc.) and is definitely one of the coolest spots on the west side of town! read more

Had a really nice experience here. Lots of great beer options... hefes, IPAs, sours, etc. We did the brew tour, which was nice, albeit not the "flashiest" I've ever been on. Still, the tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. It appears Tailgate has some new construction/projects (including an amphitheater) in the works, which is pretty exciting! Didn't try the food, so I can't speak to that. The brewery is a bit of a hike from downtown Nashville, but if you're looking for a fun excursion, I recommend visiting Tailgate. There is some room for expansion/improvement inside and out, which it seems they're beginning to tackle!
