Earlier this year, this East Nashville staple relocated from their spot on Main Street to the Inglewood area. While I loved their O.G. location, I think their new location is an amazing improvement. Tons of free parking, a delicious in-house food vendor, a beautiful patio space, and of course, the gnome murals we all know and love ... this is the quintessential neighborhood brewery! If it's your first time at Crazy Gnome, I highly recommend ordering a flight. It's a fabulous way to try a few of their signature offerings without committing to a full order. Bill & the team here are the best. Just moved to the neighborhood and we stopped in for a cold beer on a Saturday right when they opened. We tried flights and my beer snob friends loved them all - standout favorite being Potato Killed the Dinosaurs. We also order Parmesan friends and Caribbean Chili Oil Chicken Wings and wow. Tucked on Main Street in East Nashville, this local brewery has lots of great variety of beer options. The staff is super friendly and give good recs. I forgot the name of my beer but it was one of the fruity options and it was very good. The prices are pretty decent and good seating indoors and outdoors. For food, they had some cheap throwback options like hot pockets. Parking is a bit tough when they get busy, but they do have a small free lot. The beers I had the pleasure of tasting were great, and the Celtic Grounds was excellent. I especially liked hearing the history of the site. We stopped here as part of the Brew Hop trolley and I'm so glad we did. It's a very small place, hidden behind a store. The interior is larger than it looks. It might have tardis magic (IYKYK). The guys at the counter were super nice and very quick with our beer. The interior is decorated very cozy - it's like someone's basement and we are all just hanging out. Crazy Gnome is a local micro/nano-brewery that sits directly on Main Street about a block or two from the heart of Five Points. While they are situated on Main Street, finding them can be a little tricky as they sit in the corner of the same building that houses Main Street Liquors. Parking can be a bit of situation here, especially when it gets packed. They do not have a dedicated lot, but you can consider the liquor store parking just that...as besides street parking, that is the best place to look. On weekends and in the evenings you can scoop up a spot in the lot for Gym 5...but all the other times, be planful or creative for parking! Crazy Gnome isn't the largest spot, but they have done a good job with the space they have. Outside they have a recreation area with a few games you can play or you can chill at one of the tables/picnic tables. Just inside the doors you have a 6 to 8 stool bar, a communal standing table, standard 4 tops and even a lounge area fitted with sofas and chairs. We opted for a picnic table outside which allowed us to watch the folk on the treadmills at the neighboring gym as we sipped our carb loaded beers! They have a constant rotation of beers with usually 8 - 12 actively on tap. I usually prefer the smoother and lighter selections so I went with the Protect our Pollinators on round 1 and finished my visit off with their Breakfast of Champions. Both were great light beers. My partner is a sour fella, in attitude and beer taste (badum tss), so he went with the April Sours Bring May Flowers and then the Lemon Squeezy. Service was excellent, the bartenders were both friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming..as was the sign on the door notating that they are a LGBTQ+ safe space...was great to see that! Here's my "shitty" review! This place is awesome! We got the family pack pizza and it was SO good! Our stomach's usually hurt after pizza and with this pizza... they did not! Food is very limited but they do allow you to bring your own food, or get something delivered! Beers were good but nothing that I found outstanding. I am going to go for five on this one, as it was a great experience. I don't love every beer, but for a new microbrewery (technical a nanobrewery?), Crazy Gnome is doing a great job. To me, the sign of a great ale is having some mouth feel, which also helps holding the flavor for a bit. Crazy Gnome definitely hits here, unlike some other newer breweries in town. I enjoyed their IPAs, but I was also impressed by things they do that are off the map a bit. The red ale is very malty and a good addition for a city that does not do many reds. They also had a Berliner Weiss that was on point (done badly they often smell like wet dog). I went back for a second flight to try some of the other offerings. If they keep this up, they will be a solid addition. If they improve, they could be top tier. I have great expectations and will be back. I also like the space, although it is rather tiny. Staff was also very accommodating and helpful for my beer novice friend. One thing to note. The Google maps go to the right place, but they are on the back east side of the building (closer to 5 points) which is easy to miss. read more

We had such a fun time here. Grayson and Savannah are so fun and you can tell they love their jobs. We enjoyed the first stop on brewery Tour. They were busy but made us feel like we were their only customers! They have the cutest flight boards, Grayson's brother made them. We ended up buying one to take home. Can't wait to use. They do not have food, but if you want your picture on the wall, then buy the hot pocket for $50, and no they don't care if they sell, lol. They have some nicely branded merch in many color options. Their beer was tasty. I had a flight with two IPAs and the Jenna say kwa and dunkle Geist. The second two beers were great, but my husband was not a huge fan of the IPAs. There many people there and the vibe was lively. They allow dogs on the patio.
