Players is sort of hidden away from the main eye of folks in Bellevue and is located a block off of Highway 70 on Old Harding Road. It sits in an old shopping plaza with a few other local spots. Parking is plentiful, but can get tricky when the night gets late and the folks of Bellevue get thirsty! I will say that this spot is not for everyone, but I did enjoy seeing the variety of folks around the bar and on the pool tables. If you are looking for a chill local dive, then Players has you covered. Service was decent, they seem to be a little sassier with the new comers, but what local bar isn't? The pool tables are in good shape and they have live music and trivia through out the week. My only other gripes are the smoke smell and single person bathrooms. They have the outdoors enclosed right now and it leads right into the main area, but hopefully in the better weather months this will be less of an issue. Overall, Players is a decent spot. I have a feeling that we will be coming here more for carry out pizza than pool, but whatever works!

This taproom, near the corner of 51st and Centennial, is a small, but mighty space featuring a cozy and vibey inside and a nice patio. Both spaces are outfitted with a variety of seating from standard to cozy to bar stools and high tops. We have enjoyed drinks here on a few occasions since the rebrand and somehow the PB&J Mixtape always ends up in at least one of our hands! Majority of their beers lean fruit forward, but hey also have a few hoppy beers, and of course a couple of light and dark options. I go between something light and dark, and really enjoyed the Chop It Up, which is a house ale. Definitely will be my go-to here! In addition to all the goods on tap, they have a good variety of merch and canned beers that you can mix and match, or take a set of home. Service is solid, slightly hit and miss depending on the bartender. Some engage a bit more with you, especially if you are asking about the menu, others are a bit quick and want to keep things moving, which I can understand. The space is well laid out, but due its size, the front end can get backed up pretty easily as the ordering station is near the front of the bar, which is only a few feet from the entry door. So, be mindful when coming in. Even with lines, they move pretty quick, so never an issue beyond the initial back up. Overall, cool space, nice rebrand and a great spot for a good beer in The Nations!

TailGate Brewery is a phenomenal spot! First off, the pizza is a solid 5/5--absolutely delicious. At $15 for a small, it's already a great value, but they do half-off pizza on Wednesday nights, which is an absolute steal! My wife and I ordered two small pizzas, and it was more than enough food; we even ended up taking some leftovers home. Beyond the food, their craft beer selection is massive, so there is truly something for every beer lover. The staff here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which makes the vibe even better. The facility itself is very clean and offers tons of both indoor and outdoor seating. Plus, they host really fun trivia nights if you're looking for an entertaining evening out. To top it all off, they have loads of parking, which takes all the stress out of arriving. Highly recommend checking them out, especially on a Wednesday! read more

We have been customers at Tailgate for years. Our recent visit was pretty bad. The food is decent, especially the pizza, but our order took over an hour and a half (it wasn't horribly busy either), and when we would ask if everything was coming along, we were met with a sharp attitude as though we had no right to request an update. We received incorrect items too, without any apology. It seems like the employees are unhappy, and perhaps they are short staffed because the owners don't pay enough. A lot of restaurants and businesses have been crying about lack of workforce, but the reality is they probably just don't pay a living wage. Considering we paid $86 for two sandwiches, a child, size pizza, and a basket of fries, along with four drinks, I think they can afford to pay their workers a bit more. read more

We have been going to Tailgate for almost 10 years now and have yet to be disappointed by any food or beverage we've had. What's more, everyone who is associated with Tailgate goes out of her or his way to make each customer feel as if no one else is as important as that person. The owner, Wes Keegan, makes sure that everyone in the organization is knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. Special kudos to Ryan, Liz, Mimi, Trey, Allen, both Rachels, Brandon, Nate, Kate, Katie, Becca, Chris, Carrie, Cedar, Alex, and Jada. I'm sure that I've forgotten to mention dozens of other employees, and for that I apologize. But, in any event, thank you all for making every visit to Tailgate so special. read more

Phenomenal beers in over 25 varieties, new beers all the time, and plenty of liquor/wine options for the non-beer drinking friend. The service is amazing and they make everyone feel like a regular on the first time in. The bartenders are able to quickly find the perfect beer for you out of the tons of options! The food stands alone and this place could succeed merely as a pizza joint, serving incredible artisan pizza with house-made dough. Add in $9 growler fills and 6 packs to your take-out order and this place is next level. There are a bunch of cool events from Paint by PInt classes to movies to music and a giant dog-friendly outdoor area. Definitely recommend to all my friends. read more

We had a great afternoon in Chattanooga and decided to stop by TailGate Brewery for a relaxing hour. The vibe was laid-back and friendly, and we enjoyed a flight of four beers. Our favorites were the Honey Blonde and the Tang Sour--both were smooth and flavorful. The Strawberry Shandy and Ain't No Hoppy were also unique and worth a try. Incredible pizza and sandwiches and the best and ever changing beer menu. A great family place especially when the weather is good and you can be outside. The kids stay busy on the hill and seem to be having a great time. Most of the tables have sails or umbrellas. The staff is very welcoming. Tailgate is consistently awesome. They release great new beers all the time and our family loves their pizza - we order it at least once a week! Deep dish and regular are both great and the hot honey and whipped ricotta both slap (but be prepared for some heat with that hot honey as the name would suggest!).
