Tandoori chicken and garlic and cheese naan
    Sima R.

Very tasty North Indian and South Indian food. We always get the tandoori chicken and love it. I've also had the lamb chops, masala dosa, goat curry, cheese and garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala, and ALL of those dishes were great the staff is very hospitable too! The ambiance lighting could improve but overall it's a good dining area for patrons.

My daughter and her friends spotted this place on google maps-we love Indian cuisine. This is a photo of how the Butter Curry Chicken was served which is cool, it came with a side of rice. My only feed back is for such a small portion, maybe 7-9 piece of chicken, and no other sides at the tone of $19.90, the quality for this price is not there. I'm happy to pay a premium price for exceptional food. This wasn't it. It's over priced. The samosa were excellent. Another dish ordered was: Lamb Tikka Masala - the lamb was tough. The service at the time we were there was relaxed.

Been a while since we visited but look at the pictures. The food was great. Portions large. (Lunch the next day too) and the service quick and friendly. Authentic flavors here. Give them a try.

Our server was very kind and friendly. We ordered a few appetizers, two meals and some Masala Fries for the kids. The appetizers were all very good and we ordered more roti. The meals were considerably small but did come with a ton of rice. I wasn't a fan of the coconut vindaloo. While the flavor was good, I could tell that the vegetables were the bagged dozen veggies. The masala fries never came for the kids but they enjoyed the rice and roti. When we mentioned it to our server he put had the kitchen make it and didn't charge us; good thing because they were not good. Frozen as well and very lightly dusted with masala spice. Overall, dinner was good but it could have been better. I would love to stop by for the lunch buffet to try some other options. I was debating on the Dal Saag, which in retrospect, I probably would have enjoyed a lot more. I love Indian food for all the vegan options but some of the dishes are saturated with oil and offer little protein for nutritional value. The flavor is almost always spot on so I would definitely recommend for that. This is a cute little quiet spot, just needs a little improvements.

I recently went here with my beloved and my family. They offer up veg and non-veg cuisine from India. I spent over three years in India over eight Winters and nine trips. I was delighted to see that the menu featured different cuisine from various parts of India including Gujarat, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Bangladesh, and Maharashtra. The staff here is diverse and from various parts of India along with neighboring parts of SE Asia near India. Me and my beloved ordered family style since we are both vegan. There are clearly marked vegan items on the menu. We went with coconut rice, roasted papadum, aloo gobi masala, & chana masala. Everything was quite alright. Nice friendly service. Enjoyed the ambiance. My family enjoyed their meal. We would return.

Nice Indian restaurant at the mall! We've been to the lunch buffet three times over the last few months. It has a very nice selection of about 8 main dishes, with at least four chicken options of various sauces as well as the ever present tandori chicken! I apologize for not being able to pronounce nor spell the selections other than the butter chicken, tandoori and kheer rice putting dessert which is included in the buffet, but I enjoyed every one of them! The bread on the buffet was a fried dough as opposed to naan, but it too was ludicrously soft and wonderful. We also had masala chai tea, with its wonderful aromas of cardamon and other spices. Attached is a notice on each table identifying the multitude of diversity of their staff and the dozen styles of cooking available for the customers. For this plain white bread customer, it was a nice mini education on the truly diverse flavors out there. Just as almost every state in the southeastern US may have its own definition of the word barbecue sauce, it absolutely makes sense for a southeast Asian subcontinent to have flavors in every region. (I hope that statement does not offend anybody. I mean it as a compliment to the restaurant in offering the dozens of styles available to them beyond the menu and a little self-deprecating humor pointing out my ignorance).

Taste: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Came here with a large group and was pleasantly surprised to find that they had a very affordable lunch buffet. Buffet food was delicious but they also had a full menu with interesting items that we had to try. They aren't kidding about being modern Indian cuisine, Taj has multiple items on the menu that you wouldn't expect but somehow works perfectly (e.g. pizza, tacos, fries), along with more traditional Indian dishes. Staff were friendly and kept the buffet filled with fresh tastiness.

Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, white rice

2nd time and and also my 2nd review. HOLY butter chicken, this meal is so good and ran me about $24 but easily able to take home left overs. It's unfortunate I was the only one in there eating and people choose to go to moes next door is crazy to me!! Although I like a quiet restaurant this place definitely needs more business on a Friday night. Also left a 38% tip. Thanks again I hope this helps someone.

    Masala Dosa

They cannot even make a dosa. Served with mixed veg pickle. When asked, they gave me a rude answer saying this is how they make Dosa

I went to the lunch buffet on a Tuesday at 1:30pm because it seemed like a good deal at $12.99/pp. I was excited to try more than my standard chicken tikki masala order, and I enjoyed it. Unfortunately most of the rice and the big chicken pieces were almost cold. Perhaps Tuesday is not a big day and they don't want to be wasteful, but it wasn't a top notch experience. I also didn't like the sauce on the chicken tikki, as it was overly sweet. Perhaps ordering full price menu items you'd get a better experience but for the lunch buffet it's just okay, and the price is fairly low that I might try again.

He got through half and was sweating so much that he gave up and brought the rest home. Next time he will order the mild! The restaurant space is beautiful. The only bummer for me is that we looked at the menu online before going and I was so excited that they serve Dosas, because they are hard to find. Unfortunately their online menu is incorrect and they do not serve most of the southern Indian dishes on the online menu. Boo! Also the menu that they do have lists all the curries and other dishes but with no descriptions to help one decide what sounds good. I've been eating Indian food regularly for over 30 years and there were several dishes I didn't recognize but would have loved to discover what they were. And asking a waiter to explain the entire menu would take all night. But other than this frustration, it was a good meal and I'm sure we will be back.
