Had my oil changed at Take 5 today. I have never had this happen before, but a few hours after I pulled out of my garage there was a big oil spot right under where they replaced the filter. I am going to assume it is not leaking, but the least they can do is catch the oil that splatters when you remove the filter. The other thing they need to do is wipe off the surrounding area. Great Service! I pulled in and they gave me a free bottle of water immediately. Very quick oil change and they recommended a few other services but were not pushy. I did end up getting my wiper blades replaced for winter and they came with a 6 month warranty. I will definitely be back for future oil changes! read more

We had an oil change at Avon Lake location. Car was driven to Columbus at which point oil pressure light came on. After inspect car drain plug was never properly installed and had fallen out. I had to pay to have car towed back to Lorain county. Sent bill over to manager at Avon Lake location to hear nothing back. I have reached out to corporate office via of website to have no response either. Management feels it does no harm to an engine to run it out oil. ??? read more

Lube Stop Inc., you ROCK my world! My van has been running rough (once it warms up) since Cody WY so I talked with Ed yesterday about my van and he thought it might be my PCV Valve. Today I went to The Lube Stop Inc. in Avon Lake (Ed's recommendation) and they found the hose connecting to the PCV was off, they put it back on, topped my fluids, checked my tire pressure and charged me for a fuel efficiency check, for a total of $0.00. Love love love this place!! Super fast & super friendly. The techs make suggestions for upgrades but they don't push them on you. I really appreciated that. Sometimes you just want the basic oil change without feeling pressured into upgrading. They also do the e check at this location. I like the fact that I don't have to get out of my car and the guys are so nice, they always offer you a bottle of water too. read more

I have always had exceptional, fast, and professional service for my oil changes at this location. All of the employees are helpful and friendly. I want to point out that my last visit though was definitely noteworthy of how great this business is. I was there the other day for an oil change it was a 5:30 on a Friday of a long holiday weekend, they were very busy and it was pouring rain. As I waited the customer in front of me car broke down while it was in their second bay, after trying repeatedly to work out the issue and as their line of cars grew, they politely explained the situation to the waiting customers, pushed the woman's car out into a spot, assisted the waiting customers and assured the woman they would do what they could to try and figure out the issue and call her in the morning. An employee volunteered to drive her home as she had no ride and had to get back home as soon as possible, she lived about 15-20 minutes away. Seriously, the entire staff went above and beyond, quickly and professionally. They managed a growing backup of cars, and did it all with smiles on their faces. read more

They quote you one price outside , after you are in , the game starts: the quoted price covers only 5 quarts , the extra is for extra: $9, then a minute later it's $10, + $4 for dealing with the filter .... Each one blames " the other guy" for not telling you the "accurate" deal... At the end : they charged me at least 25% more.... Not a good service. Will not return back . read more

I was directed to this establishment for an echeck and ended up doing two cars in one night. As soon as I pulled up in line each time, an employee came out to greet me. The employees were super friendly, offering me a bottle of water and my dog, a treat while we waited. The second car I took in, he noticed that I was not tightening my gas cap enough and explained the importance. Please give them a try! read more
