Truthfully I've always had neutral to bad experiences with auto mechanics and auto repair shops due to my awareness of overpricing practices, especially when you're a single petite Asian woman who many mechanics think you don't know better. However, I had a decent enough experience with this Jiffy Lube that they deserve a fair review. I had went to a Brakes Plus prior and was given an estimate for rear brake pads and brake rotor replacements. Left and went to this Jiffy Lube, and they were not only willing to do the pads and rotor replacement, but added the brake flush all for a total that costed $110 less than Brakes Plus. They finished everything within 1 and 1/2 hours and the process went smoothly. Car operated well as I drove home so no concerns so far. The pads are also lifetime warranty! read more

My son who is a high schooler went to get his truck inspected for registration renewal to this Jiffy Lube center #734, and got scammed by the technician. My red flag went up when my son returned with no inspection result receipt. I asked my son if the technician asked to see valid insurance card, which he did not. Then I asked my son, again, if the technician gave him a copy of the inspection result, which he did not. And the icing on the cake, the technician asked my son to pay in cash $30 instead of a credit card because the machine was not working. Obviously, the inspection was never done so it is not in the system and my son is out $30. It makes me very angry to think that a place where we want to trust our safety of the vehicle is scamming a high schooler for a measly $30 and potentially damage the trust and the brand of Jiffy Lube. If you are the franchise owner or general manager, pls train, educate, and weed out the scammers from your crew because it will bring your shop down at some point. I am planning to escalate this issue to the corporate office so they are aware of the gap in the field operations that could be a risk. I don't care about losing $30 bucks but the fact that someone from a reputable establishment is willing take advantage a high schooler is the part I am most pissed. read more

Never coming to a Jiffy Lube again. Worst experience I have ever had with any auto shop. It took forever to get a simple safety inspection and I had to babysit them the entire way, they had no idea what they were doing and tried to charge me for services I never requested! Took my truck in for a safety inspection (without emissions because it's over 25 years old). They wanted to charge me $50 to replace only 2 windshield wiper blades (which you can get both for $15 at Walmart). I declined and drove to Walmart and replaced them myself. When I came back, I put my truck back in line and went in the waiting room. The waiting room is the tiniest and dirtiest waiting room I have ever been in. There were about 6 seats stuffed in there, and the whole place looked dingy and filthy. I was sitting there waiting for a total of almost 2 hours! After waiting 2 hours, a guy came in and told me they we're ready to do the oil change, which I NEVER requested. I told him I didn't ask for an oil change, all I asked for was a simple inspection. He finally told me they were ready to check me out. This is where the problems really started. They tried to charge me for the wipers anyway, AND for an emissions test, which I had specifically told them not to do, and they should have known the law does not require it for a truck as old as mine anyway! This resulted in them attempting to charge me about $75 MORE than the bill actually should have been! When I told them they were wrong, he argued with me and told me they were correct. When I demanded he talk to the technician, finally he left and found out that, what a shocker, I was right! My bill should have actually been only $7, a far cry from the $80 they tried to make me pay! After I paid, I asked for my paperwork that said my truck passed inspection so I could re-register. He said it was on the dash. I went to my truck to leave and figured I should check what the paper said. Good thing I did, because there was no new paperwork. The only paper on the dash was the old paperwork from earlier that morning saying it needed new wipers! I went back and told the guy who took my payment that I needed the CORRECT paper work, and after talking to the technician, the guy came back and apparently, no one had actually looked at my truck to inspect it yet!! At this point I was furious. They had tried to charge me WAY more than what it should have been, they had made me wait 2 hours, and now, apparently, the inspection I had PAID FOR had never actually happened!! If I hadn't checked the paperwork, I would have driven off with no proof of inspection, and a wasted morning. I asked the guy what the hell they had been doing for the past two hours, and he had nothing to say. I let him know all of the problems I had experienced, and I demanded to know why I, the customer, had to PAY to babysit and double check the work of supposed "professionals". Then I said: "I'm not trying to be an A**hole here..." and he INTERRUPTED ME to say "it kinda seems like you are, actually." I had been giving these people the benefit of the doubt until that point, but that was the final straw. I will NEVER go back to any Jiffy Lube for the rest of my life. Save yourself time, money, and find somewhere where people actually know what they're doing. All n all, I was there a total of 3 hours until I actually had approved inspection report in hand. TLDR: 3 hours of my life wasted for a job that should take no more than 30 minutes, they tried to coerce me to overpay for windshield wipers, they tried to convince me I had asked for an oil change when I hadn't, they tried to charge me $80 when it should have only been $7, they never actually did the job I paid them for, and the guy essentially called me an a**hole for pointing out I had caught several mistakes and shouldn't have to babysit professionals. Do not go here (Euless 76039 Industrial Blvd) They cannot be trusted. Buyer beware. The associate tried to charge me $50 for wiper blades. The manager is aware and allows it. I told the tech guys initially I needed wiper blades. They said they were $25. I told them the price on the screen in the lounge says $19.99. They then said that's the base model and yes they could do that. When it was time to see the bill, I'd been charged $25.99 twice, one charge for each blade. And they even charged me for two different length wipers to make it look credible on their end. When I nicely disputed it, I got a lot of run around from the associate. 'The company does not update the prices on the screen and we've tried telling them.' I informed him that 'blades' is plural and implies a pair. He again told me that they've contacted the company and again it's not their fault that the prices aren't updated and the price is $25.99 each. I told him Texas Law states if a price is listed, that's what you pay. And it's not my fault your company isn't updating them. To myself I'm thinking: REALLY?? The company doesn't update. (Give me a break. I wasn't born yesterday). The associate was clearly not going to budge, so I asked to see the manager. He (manager) talks a nice game and realized pretty quickly I was calling them out on their deception, and he took the inaccurate charge off of the price including comping the wipers and inspection price, as I payed for only the oil change. I sure hope there's someone in their families, a grandparent maybe?, who would be absolutely ashamed of who they are choosing to be, and I hope they will see the error of their ways and stop trying to steal. If they were in my eighth grade English class, I would have had them call their parents in front of me and explain why they are choosing to lie to their customers and steal others' money. BUYER BEWARE Do not go here. I will never return. Beware of the cash wrap. I've been here before and everyone is friendly and they changed the oil quickly. I drove over the day and a guy came to my door and asked what I needed. Then he said it'll be $99.99 for synthetic oil change or $79.99. I said im not paying that. He said Nissan only recommends those oils. I came here for an oil change and tire rotation for my fleet vehicle. The waiting room was very small - only 6 chairs and they were all full. A nice young man stood up to let me sit down while I waited. :) There were a total of 4 cars ahead of me at 3pm on a Monday, so the wait was a little long. Having said that, the guys working on the vehicles seemed to be moving as quickly as they could and were very friendly to all the customers waiting and arriving. Dropped the car off for just a state inspection. When we came back to pick it up after leaving for a few errands they informed us they had installed a lightbulb in order to allow it to pass inspection, without asking first, and charged us $16 for it (they are under $5 at Walmart). Based on this I will not be back for any future services. Always confirm with your clients before performing additional work on their vehicle. I'm suspicious that the bulb was ever even out in the first place, but I guess we'll never know... read more

I came here for an oil change. I pulled up to the 2nd entrance and there was 1 car in front of me. The guy came and asked me what I was getting done and got the details of my car. I was asked to sit in the waiting area. I was in the first waiting area for about 15 minutes. From there they took me to the office to review everything they did. I used a groupon so I did have to pay 2.50 which he said was the tax on the groupon. That took about 5-7 minutes and from there they pulled my car out and I was good to go. They also vacuumed my floors and cleaned my windows which was great! read more

Five guys working, I was the only car in the bay and it took over 30 minutes to only change oil. They were slow and talked together constantly without working on the car. I requested to see the oil stick after filling and they didn't, they gave us the wrong sticker reminder that was clearly for another car, and I had to get them to correct the bill. They WILL dirty your interior. Guaranteed. You've been warned. The mechanics pants are filthy, looks like they never wash them and then jump in your nice clean seats. Not to mention they don't wash their hands well or at all, so your steering wheel, shifter, door is dirty and nasty. Other than that, they will change your oil. read more

There was only one car ahead of me for an oil change already in the bay, yet an hour later and I was still waiting. Usually, I am in and out in 15-20 minutes. I wouldn't an hour plus "in a jiffy." The technician tried to upsell everything, except his sister, including an automatic transmission fluid flush, which I did not need, because the dealer had just replaced my transmission. The upselling really gets annoying. They also wanted to sell me a $50 cabin filter which can be purchased at Walmart for $7. My glove box was not put back together properly when they inspected the cabin filter. I showed them and they "fixed it." As soon as I drove away, the glove box fell to the floor, so I decided just to put it back together myself since they seemed to be incapable of doing that. Jiffy Lube facilitates our lazy car maintenance ways. We are the kinda peeps that do the minimum possible, which is why we own a Honda. You know you're a grown up when you buy a reliable car instead of an exciting car (we do refer to it as "The Party Mobile," but there really isn't anything exciting about it). Even though we love (or should that be lurve?) anything that helps our lazy ways, a place like Jiffy Lube normally wouldn't get a review, because 1.) it's a chain and 2.) there's nothing special about Jiffy Lube. They aren't the cheapest, they aren't the most expensive, they do oil changes quickly, and they have a literal name (Get it? Jiffy for quick and Lube for oil?). Anyway, it was time for our first oil change since moving to Texas (big D in da hizzzouse!), so off to Jiffy Lube we went... and the experience was awe-inspiring (not Obama inspiring, but inspiring for an auto shop). As soon as we drove up, one of the technicians came up to our window and pointed us to the mechanic's bay to park in. Another technician directed us as if we were a jumbo jet taxiing to a gate at DFW. When we got out of the car, their team swarmed around the car performing their duties (heh, heh... did I just say doodies?). At one point, 5 guys were working on the car, cleaning the windows, vacuuming the floor mats, checking the fluids, draining the old oil, and removing the air filters. They were like a well-oiled (har har) machine! They were efficient, quick, and really friendly! When paying, they asked if we wanted a coupon book for $3 towards a charity. They also offered to take the $3 off coupon inside the book (and this was in addition to the $5 off coupon we brought with us). So we basically got the coupon book for free and also somehow ended up helping a good cause at the same time (score!). So, yeah, go to Jiffy Lube, and tell 'em we sent ya! Actually, they won't know who we are, so nix that. But still go there for oil changes. :) read more

Seriously how the hell is this place still in business. Every time I come here (which is mutiple times, because they some how hagled their way into an exclusive contract with my company.
