Now today, as I pull in right behind another vehicle, and sit and wait for 37 minutes, before I just finally had to leave, they still had the hood on the vehicle in front of me up, who knows how long I would have waited, and then another 30-45 minutes to do my oil change? I looked at previous bills which were about 29.00 plus an up charge this time it was about $57.00 minus the coupon. The competitive pricing is about $29,00 and is posted on the web. Even my Honda dealer is offering $29i.00 oil changes as is Goodyear and the Big "O shows their same very competitive pricing. The folks at the Jiffy Lube are great and the services are fine...but this pricing is outrage. Jiffy Lube is owned by the Shell Oil Company and they set the prices not the local Jiffy Lube option. Prior management at this location did a real hard sale.....current management did not. I explained to the Jiffy Lube Manager completive pricing for the same level of services makes it very hard to come back after six years. Shell Oil must need the pocket change

I told them how much higher they were than their compeitor and haggled a bit on the price. He said he'd talk to his boss and call me back. No call back, so I called and said I'll pay their price. I decided it was worth the extra money to get it done same day. I show up 5 min early and I'm the only person in the lobby. No one says a word to me or even looks at me. After a couple min, I say something to the guy in the lobby so he knows I'm the guy there for the appt (he already knew). I sit there for another 15 min while he makes phone calls and carries on with business like there isn't someone there for an appt. Needless to say, after 20 min of sitting there, I left as it was obvious they were doing me this way on purpose. If you didn't want my business say so. Having me waste an hour of my afternoon was pretty uncool. Felt like I was in JR High all over again. If you want to save yourself an experience like this and a lot of money, take your business to Grain Valley Muffler. Side note: I tried to talk myself out of leaving this review. Couldn't do it.
