Paid for coolant to be fixed and did it and didn't even fill it up properly where it was still low and had my car light up driving home saying "please pull over now due to coolant levels low" but now having car problems and car is telling me not to drive due to coolant issues. I went to Take 5 for a state inspection, and they talked me into getting a radiator flush. After I left, my windshield washer fluid started pouring out from underneath my car like water. I took it back, and the technician, Lehigh, insisted they didn't do anything wrong. Only that they had topped off my fluids (windshield washer fluid). I've never had a leak before. On March 30, 2025, at 11 a.m., I had my car's oil changed at the #0504 located at 844 NE Alsbury Blvd in Burleson, Texas. The next morning, I discovered a large puddle of oil on my driveway underneath my car. I called the shop, and the manager came to my home and after an inspection, informed me that the oil filter was not securely fastened the day prior, and 3.5 quarts of oil had leaked out. He tightened the filter, topped off the oil and asked me to return to the store for a second service on my vehicle. After servicing the car, Take 5 sent someone to attempt to pressure wash my driveway. After 10 minutes we were informed there was nothing they could do further to remove the stain. After almost 3 months of discussions, I received a letter from Take 5 stating that there was no evidence that they were responsible for the damage to my driveway. No refund on the oil-change service, no call from the owner, just a letter from their corporate third-party administrator stating that it wasn't their team that caused the leakage and damage to my driveway. Great customer service until they make a mistake. Then it's just a series of emails telling you that it is not their issue. All I can say is buyer beware, sometimes convenience is not so convenient. They sent the car to Firestone in Crowley and didn't communicate anything to the other business and the other business started her car with no oil in the pan and metal and plastic bits have been pushed all through the engine. Waited in line for 1.5hrs last night to get my emissions check done, was then sent home because their system apparently shut off at 8:15pm for that type of check. I get that's a DMV thing, but it was 8:00pm when they sent me home And they said the system locks out at 8:15pm. Tyler Told me to come back next day at 7am to get it done for free. Show up at 7am and Tyler the inspector isn't there for 30 mins, then when he gets there proceeds to do other things while I wait until 8:30am (1.5hrs after he told me to be here for the inspection) for the whole thing to take him 3 minutes to do. Oooof. We went in for an oil change on a Monday afternoon. It took forever for them to start working on the truck. One employee was working on a vehicle, and the other three were standing around, doing nothing. I'm not sure why that was happening. When they started working on our vehicle, one employee disappeared, 2 worked on ours, and one guy walked around. There were other customers waiting for service. Been coming here for my oil changes for a couple years now. Usually then gentleman that work here are great with getting your car in and out with no issues. Today took my car to get a oil change, after it was completed I told the guy you have to reset my oil light on my car after several attempts he didn't know how when he asked the other guy how his response was yea jeeps and rams tend not to reset I don't know why. So the guy basically told me he couldn't cause jeeps don't reset I told him I've been here several times and they always do it. Ended up leaving without it reset. Which is fine I can figure out how to to do it myself but for almost a $100 oil change you would think this would get done. read more

The folks here at my local Take 5 are the best. They are so kind and professional. Service is great and I never feel like they are trying to upsell me. What strikes me the most though is how young the staff are yet they seem to take their work so seriously and seem to take actual pride in it. The owner must train them well and set clear expectations for the staff. This seems more and more rare now-a-days. The guys here have always taken good care of me over many years. They are fast and explain things well. They always come out to the car to see what service I need as soon as able. For those complaining about waiting 30-40 min for service I guarantee you will wait MUCH LONGER at Firestone or NTB... also, for people complaining about workers "standing around"... from politely asking questions I learned that only specific certified workers can do inspections and there is no point to having 3 people watching oil drain under a car... the others are learning or are runners to get the materials (oil, filters, etc). It seems like people want everything "instantly" now days. Less than an hour for an oil change is stellar. If asked, they also will air up your tires, wash your windows, etc. I thought they were priced high initially, but with the free top off 1/2 way to your next oil change they are a great value for anyone leaking a bit of oil. read more

On October 20th I had the oil changed in my truck in advance of my annual Thanksgiving vacation and hunting trip to South Dakota at the Take 5 location on 1632 SW Wilshire Blvd in Burleson TX 76028. The trip was 850 miles. A few days after arriving I got a low oil level alert, pulled over checkd the oil and it was two quarts low. No oil had leaked on my driveway and the tail pipe was clear so the truck was not leaking or burning oil. The only conclusion is I was shorted two quarts of oil. In addition the person who changed the oil topped my washer fluid with water. It had snowed the night before I left after Thanksgiving and temperatures were below freezing for nearly the entire trip. There was a lot of road spray and the washer would not operate because it was frozen making visibility difficult and dangerous. I have since put on a little over 2000 miles and the oil level has remained full. I don't know if I was shorted intentionally, because of ignorance or incompetence but was clearly shorted on the oil change. It gets worse. When I called the location to complain about it I was told to "F" off and hung up on. As a result I will NEVER set foot in any Take 5 location again. I think they are incompetent and without a doubt have absolutely NO customer service skills. If you are a smart consumer you should aviod them as well. They simpley do not care about the customer. read more

I've tried to take into account covid hours etc, but the service at this place is terrible. This is based in two separate visits. First, back in the summer I took my car in for an oil change. They were busy and they didn't want to do it, so the girl working told me not to worry about manufacturers recommendations and just to drive the car another few weeks and it would be fine. Keep in mind I was already past the mileage THEY recommended from my last oil change there, but ok worries. I had to get it done somewhere else in the end because of my schedule. Now forward to today. I hit the other Burleson location and their compressor is out They tell me to go back to this location. I asked if there would be time because it was 330 and they close at 4, and he assured me it would be no problem. I get here at 340 and they have jo customers and no desire for any, and come out to tell me that they've closed for the day. Mind you they are still working on cleaning up, still have all the doors open, still have employees there, and still are twenty minutes from closing at place that brags about being 5 minute fast, but they want to leave early, which would be fine if it wasn't an ongoing story with them not wanting my business or them sending me 10 minutes across town just to find that out. I like the idea of not having to get out of the car for an oil change. I've used them once before, and I don't mind exchanging that for having someone get in my car and doing the vacuum etc. but if I can't get anyone to work, the question is irrelevant. The best customer service I have ever seen. I went in today to get my car inspected the lady that helped me (one of the managers) was the sweetest soul I have ever met. She was very kind and was very helpful with everything that she did for me. I have had a rough month and it is only the start of December once she had finished my inspection, she had told me that my inspection was on her and to have a Merry Christmas and that she loved driving my car. This made my entire day that they're still pure souls out there and that they have employees like this at take five oil change . I did not have a good experience at the Wilshire location in Burleson. On Saturday My husband had the car inspected and the tech wrote the wrong make on the inspection paperwork. Our car was purchased out of state and I needed to quickly send the inspection to them to help in getting our plates back quicker. I was told any mistakes on the inspection and the paperwork would not be accepted by the DMV. So I went back on Sunday to get the paperwork corrected and I was told that a tech had broken the machine later on Saturday and they could not redo my paperwork. So I asked for a manager to call me on Monday. I believe the manager name was Jacob. He never called me Monday so by 10.30 Am I called. I spoke with him and he said the machine may not be repaired until Friday. I asked why he had not called me back and he said he was very bizzy. I asked for his reginal manager but he said there was no one above him which I do not believe. He did not seem to care much about the urgency of my issue nor did he apologize for the tech error on my paperwork. He told me to go to the location on Alsbury and he would call the manager and let him know I would be coming over and he would take care of me. I go to the Alsbury location and the manager had just left sick. No one was left who could run the inspection machine. At least the guys at that location were nice and seemed to care about my situation. So I left frustrated and went to Jiffy Lube on Wilshire in Burleson and they were great. I do not recommend this Take 5 oil location on Wilshire in Burleson to anyone as the employees do not take the job seriously and do not provide good customer service. read more

I paid for a full synthetic oil change, but didn't even come close to getting it. They are suppose to check all fluids, check tires, check wipers, check filters, etc. Not. Ha!
