Pulled up and was immediately greeted and offered a bottle of water. Tech was friendly and even talked me into a price which was lower than what I expected. I was going for something I didn't need for a new car and it's first oil change. He was great and the team was on point. I have had a great experience both times I have gone to this location, with two cars. My only feedback would be to find a way to link cars to a single account so I don't have to spend time adding my info for each car I have. You should be able to pull my data and then just add the cars as I come. Very minor but would be a great way to improve the experience even more. I just left the parking lot from getting an oil change. I was able to get a full synthetic and air filter for my Audi A3. The entire team was professional, including the intake guy on the computer who was knowledgeable and Randall who when closed my hood realized that the hood wasn't aligned. He opened the hood and fixed it and now my hood closed properly which it wasn't before. The service was great, from the water bottle to the Take 5 team. Went to get an oil change April 25th at 1230pm. I have gone there to get my oil changes for 2 and a 1/2 years consecutively on my vehicle this one time. I forgot my military I. D. And they told me they could not give me my discount. I think that is very crappy customer service. If you don't want to do your job, then maybe you need a new one. Beware! Do not go here. I called about the price of a synthetic oil change nd was given a cost but when they had drained my oil they gave me a much higher price. The classic bait and switch. Also, they didn't have my replacement oil plug so they had to get it from an automotive store. What was supposed to be a 10 minute oil change turned into over an hour in the 100 degree heat and I was first in line. The employees are also very unprofessional. Entire process was very quick I was in and out within 15 minutes. They also stay open later than nearby lube places during the week. Service techs were friendly and did not heavily push additional upgrades. So much better than going to jiffy lube where you have to sit in a dirty waiting room for much longer. On the 15th of October; I took my SUV to Take 5 on Two Notch Road fir an oil change. Yesterday I noticed my SUV was running right. Upon check my oil I discovered that no oil was in my engine. I added 3 quart of oil. The level barely showing on the dipstick . I took it back to take five their technician said there was no oil in my car . They filled it up to the required level supposably. Took it to my mechanic this morning and they said it was short a quart . My mechanic also said that I had a leak slight leak . My mechanic just checked my car a week ago and there was no all leak. Now I have to pay for repairs because of the leak read more

Going back and forth with Manager ( Jessica) and we're getting tired of it. My Wife needed a oil change so when she got there they said she needed a coolant flush also, so the tech looked at her vehicle and said that they couldn't do the coolant flush because it was a seal on it and it had to be done by a dealer which was OK because I don't believe in oil change places doing coolant flushes, stick to what you know which is oil changes. At her next oil change the manager told my wife that she needed a coolant flush, so she mentioned to her that the other techs told her that she had to go to a dealer to get that done. The manager (Jessica) took it upon herself to do it anyway two weeks later my coolant hose split in three different places so when I brought it up to her, she act like she didn't know who we were which we are regular customers. Everyone seems to know us and our situation, but the manager will not acknowledge us. We've been up there five different times she won't call her boss. I go up there almost every day and I have to Pay $1200 for a mistake they did and she still will not accept responsibility or give us the number for corporate to talk to her boss. The other technicians in the shop acknowledges that it's not right but she acts like nothing ever happened and she don't know what we're talking about. What do I need to do to get a hold to corporate office because I will do it and we won't stop trying. We don't want to get lawyers involved but what choice do I have with no cooperation, Jessica is bad for business we've submitted all paperwork to her technician when we couldn't find her then we came back the next day and she fired him. I just had a fantastic experience with this business, and even though I rarely write reviews, I wanted to give them a big shout out. I drove from Missouri to South Carolina on the Thursday before July 4th. On the drive the message to "change oil soon" came on. Normally that gives a week or two lead time to set up an oil change, but with the long drive, and the upcoming drive home to Missouri, the message changed within a day to "oil change required." I had family events to attend on Friday and Saturday, and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a place open on Sunday, July 3rd. The men and women at this location were wonderful. They handed me an ice cold bottle of water as soon as I pulled in, which was so appreciated while sitting in my car with the engine off (and thus, no air conditioning) while they changed my oil and tanked up my fluids. The lead worker today was a 20 year military veteran, and the entire team was friendly, professional, and did little things (like show me the oil dipstick) that went above and beyond the normal oil change experience. As a final touch, they cleaned my windshield and reset the oil life setting on my car dash. I don't live in South Carolina, but the next time I visit family here, I may get my oil changed even if it's a little early. read more

I would give zero stars if that was an option. Techs have no clue about vehicles. I do know how to work on my vehicle but I decided to take my truck in due to lack of personal time to do a quick 5 minute oil change. I recently went to the take five on two notch near Sandhills, when I arrived the tech quickly created me which was great however I soon realized that they had no clue. The tech app emotes to open my hood and had no success I got out of my truck and opened the hood for him, my latch is at the top of my grill easily seen and he continue to try and open it from the bottom. Once I got into the bay the techs did their job top off my washer fluid and coolant. I knew that my oil level was extremely low as well as my transmission fluid. The tech said nothing to me about my low oil level. They started to "work" on my vehicle and I watched as they struggled to get my oil cap off. They ended up using an oil filter wrench to get the cap off. Thankfully they did not crack the plastic cap. Finally with the cap off they failed to remove the filler plug which is directly located under the cap, I own a 2005 dodge btw so a filler plug is standard. Big disappointment while I watched them. Once they added oil they checked my transmission level while I was in park which is not how you check the oil in a dodge, you check it in neutral. That is clearly written on the dipstick. They did show me that there was no read on my transmission dipstick and proceeded to add transmission fluid. The added less than half a quart then immediately checked the level. It gave them a false full showing me that it was full. LIES!!! I went home and properly checked my transmission fluid and long behold there was no read. Thankfully I keep extra fluid in my garage and began adding fluid. It took three quarts to read properly at a hot temp. I will not be returning to take five. Maybe one day they will have techs that learn to actually do simple services on vehicles. read more

I took my car for an oil change in July 2020. Following the service we left the location and on busy Two Notch Road we lost acceleration in the car. We were able to hobble into a parking lot. Having picked up the car earlier in the day from the dealership after service, we assumed it was related to that. A tow truck came and took the car to the dealership ($85), we took a Lyft home $17. The dealership called and said the oil change people had failed to reattach the air hose, causing our problem, a $75 diagnosis. I sent a note to the customer service link on their website and got a note back from their corporate headquarters in Charlotte. They told me this is a franchise and they would contact the franchise liaison and the franchise owner. Nothing after that. A second email to the corporate office telling them I'd heard nothing and requesting contact information for the owner also resulted in **crickets**. While we were there, the staff were thoroughly enjoying each other's company, talking, laughing, hanging out together, and obviously not paying attention to their duties. Use them at your own peril and be assured that if anything goes wrong they don't care, and neither does their corporate office. I would never, ever use them again, at this location or any other. read more
