My four new tires were replaced and balanced in one hour and fifteen minutes on a Saturday (as a counter example Sam's and Goodyear have taken around 3 hours to do the same work). I called around to compare prices and Marc Yount's was cheaper than every tire place within 15 minutes of my apartment including Jim Whitehead and Tires Plus. Four Michelin Defender's for my 2011 Focus were 599$ (total walk out price after taxes). When comparing tire prices be SURE to ask for the walk-out price, balances and new valves can vary, as can service fees and other bull. You get FREE TIRE ROTATION, you read that right. An off-the-cuff estimate was $2500+ It was a condition I was aware of... just brake seals, not axle seals. They were leaking on the inside of the RR back tire, and rather than be honest or investigate further, they took me for a fool and threw rear axle seals in the mix, a $2500 repair that wasn't needed. I'm 100k further down the road and my axle seals are still fine. The blonde old hippie is a shyster, and his squeaky mouthpiece at the desk is just a minion. I went there because I thought they did good, honest work. But this was my last day ever since... can't re-build that kind of trust.

They didn't do it. I looked and the tire I thought was low was still low, when I checked it it was around 15 PSI. Awful. They took the tire off and told me I didn't have a puncture and the screw didn't go through the tire (which is probably why I didn't notice any issues). After discussion they told me I didn't the patch and there was NO DAMAGE to my tire! They put it back on and I drove away. Within 5 mins of being on the interstate the tire sensor warning came on, and my car started to pull to the right. When I was able to safely pull over, my tire was FLAT and I could hear the air shooting out. I had to put a spare on on the side of the road (I am a 5'2" 140 lb woman). When I contacted Mavis and brought it into another Mavis (same day) I was informed that not only was there a puncture IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE so it wasn't a new puncture, but the inside wall was also damaged and I need a new tire. This went from a 22 dollar issue to a 200 dollar issue. Not to mention, the tire that was damaged also came from Mavis not even a year prior. I AM LIVID, literally in tears and was left stranded unless I bought a new tire. They refused to comp the tire, I had to purchase a new tire. I loathe these people! I will NEVER go back to another Mavis, EVER!!!!!! I WILL be filing a small claims case for the cost of the tire, it's not about the money, it's the audacity! Lesson learned, beware!
