We had a coolant flush done here on 4/6/2026. Yesterday, 4/14/2026 my van began to leak antifreeze. My husband took it back there, they said "oh yeah looks like whoever did the coolant flush didn't clear the line properly. We suggest taking it to a mechanic". So because they can't do their job, I am out thousands of $ for a radiator, rental, I had to reschedule a trip, it literally is causing so many issues. They said "you can file a claim". Update on my last review of Take 5 , 6605 North Beach St, Fort Worth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once I received a response by a Take 5 representative , it became clear by reading other negative reviews that the response I received was just a standard response given to everyone who experienced horrible service by them[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. In that response it stated that I need to call 817-769-8395 and ask to speak to a shop manager, to which I did a couple of days later after the initial incident. I got an answer from Britney at the call center, she stated that she would take my number down and the shop manager would give me a call back to discuss the incident. As of a week later, NO CALL BACK ! This company is not concerned about bad service and refuses to accept responsibility for their incompetence. Next stop, the BBB. Do not go to this location and if you do just know, your rolling the dice on the service your asking them to perform on your vehicle. read more

On March 31st I had an oil change here that left me with $900 in damages. The technician, Alexis, admitted he had placed the gasket on my oil filter on incorrectly. I had to have my car towed back to this location after being stuck on the side of the highway with no oil in my engine and oil all over my engine bay after driving less than 5 miles. Alexis fixed the gasket and filled my engine back up with oil. The best he stated he could do to compensate me was offer me 50% my next oil change... Check engine light after oil change, i went by just for an oil change and the guys proceeded to take my filter out which was already changed!? they then proceeded to put it back in but they didn't even fully put it in right only 2 out of the 4 clips for my filter was on which casued my car to suck in more air an start shaking heavily then they proceeded to top off my washer fluid which caused it to clogged up! My daughter had her oil changed at this location and they must not have put enough oil back in it. She told me she had a light coming on in her car that looked like a oil drop coming out. It held almost 5qts to fill it up. I don't see how it didn't burn up her engine. I'm sure it took no telling how much off its life expectancy. I came here for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised that they weren't booked. The wait for the oil change was about ten minutes or so, I like that you can wait in your car. The oil change and changing the cabin air filters took about ten minutes, so not bad. The prices are on par with other auto shops for full synthetic oil. The guys that work there are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the products they are selling. They give you a water bottle which is considerate in this hot Texas sun. In addition they have discounts for oil changes as well. read more

I am someone who is skeptical of most car maintenance service places, but Take 5 has been excellent. Kenneth gave fantastic customer service and walked me through their entire process. I am versed well enough in car lingo to understand when someone is being dishonest or trying to upsell me unnecessarily, but Kenneth was honest and kept it simple even if I'd known nothing about vehicle maintenance. I did purchase a new air filter and a fuel cleaner additive which were reasonably priced. One technician did add a half quart too much oil to my vehicle but another tech, Danny, was able to catch the mistake right away and fix it before I left. I can't fault anyone for a simple mistake, and I was very impressed with their safety checks to make sure everything was correct before I left. They call it Take 5, they promise it takes 10, it actually takes 30, today it took 75. For the entire 75 minutes, no line, only getting an oil change, the staff was friendly and apologetic, but it defeats the entire purpose regardless. I pulled into this location today (3/02/23) and they told me they could not get the oil filter cap off. They then told me I needed to go to the Take 5 location I had my last oil change done at. When I showed to the last location I had my oil change done, they didn't understand why the Beach location couldn't get the cap off...they took it off with ease. The Beach location wasted my time and gas for no reason. Do not visit this location!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! They explained everything to me, from my filter to what to look for on my dipstick! Explained what they were checking as they were doing it, on top of that they check your oil if you come in after taking a road trip and fill and fluids back up like wiper fluid and things between oil changes! Kenneth and Luck were amazing!! If you're thinking about going just do it!! Had a great experience and they were very fast and professional all while having a friendly conversation. Do not take your car here for an oil change. I had my car serviced recently and was told that the bolt on my oil pan had been stripped and the whole oil pan had to be replaced. It costed me $300 and was told to go to the last place where I got my oil change and let them know so I can be reimburse for the damages. So, I did just that. I spoke to an employee and told him what happened and he told pictures and said he needed to talk to his district manager. Well 3 weeks go by and I go back to talk to them about what happened and spoke to a different guy and he first told me that the place that serviced my car could have stripped the bolt and not them. Then he looked up my information, but couldn't find it the receipt in their system. I went back to my car and found the receipt and gave it to him and he pointed out on the bottom of the receipt had a little note that said, "BOLT WAS ROUGH TAKING OFF AND ROUGH PUTTING BACK ON." The guy said he can still submit my claim, but most likely won't be reimbursed. I had my oil changed prior to this at the same take 5 and saw that the other receipt said the same thing as well. I believe the technician who did my oil change the first time damaged my oil pan and was covering his ass by putting that little comment on the bottom of my receipt. I've gone to other places like meineke and was never told anything was wrong with the bolt on my oil pan, but all of the sudden, it is at take 5. I will never take my car here or any of the take 5 locations. It's bad business to damage an oil pan on someone's car and not take responsibility for it. read more
