My Jeep received a clean bill of health and we were on our way. Inspection fee is only $21 pass or fail. Meanwhile, today, July 2nd, is First Automotive's last day open before the July 4 th long weekend! While driving North on the I -81, my brakes started to make thundering noises a few hundred miles south of here. I knew this was bad news. I arrived to First Auto early this morning without an appointment , stating that I believed I had an emergency on hand. After a visual check, I was told NOT to drive on the highway! I talked to Jeff True, Service Manager, who very courteously assured me that would not be a problem. When I arrived, Mr. True met me. He was as professional in person as on the phone. He was courteous and listened when I told him what services I had scheduled and would he mind explaining the functions. He explained in detail what would be done and about how long it would take. I was extremely impressed that Mr. True spent the time explaining the services in detail and answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. After my interaction with Mr. True in the future, I will schedule services but only if he is there. I think the online appointment system is not working properly. I've schedule another alignment for SUN 7/14/25 SUN at 12pm for another location. Let's see how it will go. A 2nd time will confirm my thoughts about the unprofessional approach to the appointments. Probably they short stuffed, but it's their problem to check and combine with the In progress and scheduled work!
