Avoid this location at all cost! By far the worst experience at a Take 5 ever. Started out well be greeted with water and pulled into the bay. Service was slow compared to other times, but it was a Sunday so I assumed one crew working. While waiting for service, I over hear the Asst Mgr J*** tell a customer the air filter was dirty and needs replacing. He goes on to say if I put in back in the car then you don't get the discount if you decide you want me to replace it. I found that odd, but then he says it doesn't matter I don't have that filter in stock and if you don't change it you will be back here in 30 days with dirty black oil! Finally they start service on my car which is the same exact car as the one next to me with the dirty filter. J*** says which oil they recommend I give them the go ahead for that oil. He then looks at my air filter says its dirty when in reality it wasn't and ask do you want me to change, and then says I don't have it in stock anyway. I tell him I have veteran discount and he quotes the price, I then say I have a coupon and which discount is better to use? At my local Take 5, they tell me which is better deal and that's what I pay. J*** then says it doesn't matter I gave you the veteran discount and I won't change or compare it because that's procedures! I ask why and he again says that procedures. I then over here the pit crew say J*** you can't argue with customers and he says I don't care that's procedure and that what I do. 1st time I tried to come because of the witty business sign out front and I got turned away by manager stating that she didn't trust her new employees with my foreign vehicle. 2nd time I tried to go with my hummer and was once again refused due to a malfunction suction vac. Waited 45 minutes. Then 15 for the oil change. Offered me water but forgot. Only 101 to sit in car for hour and either run car or inhale others gas fumes. Cost wasn't much more than dealership. Not a good business model! People were kind..just short handed and no benefit to sit in car that long. read more

I normally LOVE take 5. I have been going forever, but this location was horrible. I waited 45 min as the next car in line just to be greeted. I figured maybe they were short staffed but he said it would be another 25 min before even being seen. And I was next in line the entire time. I left before I even got an oil change. It was a very disappointing experience. I will not be back to that location. I understand being short staffed and taking longer but advertising 10 min oil change and it taking over an hour is unacceptable read more

I don't think I would have ever bothered to check this place out if an opportunity for a last-minute road trip to San Diego hadn't come up. I usually get my oil changed at the dealership where I bought my car. I showed up at 8:30 am and was back at home 20 minutes later. Ryan (the manager) and Caleb (the assistant manager) were the ones who helped me. They were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and efficient. They filled me in on everything they were doing and saved me money (by letting me know that I did not need a new wiper blade for my back windshield). Jose and the team operate like this is a NASCAR race. I've never experienced such a pleasant, professional, and enjoyable oil change in my entire life. I told my wife we are doing a date night at Take 5!!! This place should change their name to Gamechanger Oil Change. Never go anywhere else, this is the fastest and best value oil change shop hands down! I was done in about 5 minutes, and quite honestly wished it would have taken longer it was so impressive to watch them work. I've been here for my last six oil changes, each time it's taken less than half an hour for the entire service. The people who complain it doesn't take actually five minutes are the same ones that complain that Red Bull doesn't actually give you wings. This is the fastest oil change out of any spot you can go. And for the convenience? I'd rather spend a couple more bucks and not have to leave my vehicle and be done in less than 30 minutes. Then have to get out of my car and wait in a waiting room for an hour plus. They also top your fluids for free, and give lots of coupons for things like air filters, wiper blades and so on. I got new oil, new air filter and new wiper blades for $110. For not having to leave my car once, and for it to be under 30 minutes. That's definitely worth it. read more

Definitely not 5 minutes. I waited for at least 10 as they "work on one customer at a time" (3 people??). Ended up saving me time and money as I was waiting and waiting and waiting I noticed IT IS $99.99 FOR AN OIL CHANGE!! I told them I was not spending $100 on an oil change and got the response "I don't make the prices, I just enforce the prices". NOTHING about the guy's tone and delivery the whole time I was there waiting reflected customer service, let alone with that price tag. No prices on the website. Called for prices, no answer. Stopped by to ask for prices and was rudely told "let me help these people first and then I'll talk to you". I patiently waited while he talked to three people in their cars. Then as he was heading back he made no eye contact me and went back in the building. How hard is it to give a quick price range? Brand new business at this location, I watched it get built in a dirt lot. I saw a coupon online and decided to try it out. Derek and Jose were awesome, they thoroughly explained things and were super friendly, even offering everyone cold water to drink. They were great with coupons and even helped clear the "maintenance required" warning on the dash. They also sprayed my windshield and had me test the new blades before leaving. The manager Ryan was also very friendly. The only caveats are there can be a wait when they're busy and since you're sitting in your car and have to turn it off to let the oil cool in the bay, you could end up getting hot while you're waiting. I was there 2 hours. There was only 3 guys working. They were more concerned on up selling. Worst experience. I left before they could do anything. When I finally was next to get serviced, I sat there for another 20 minutes with no communication. They had six people lined up behind me in all three lanes and there was no sense of urgency. The service was very quick. I was the first one who pulled in and they were very kind and even offered water. I was hesitant at first because my regular mechanic was out of town for the next 2 weeks but I desperately needed an oil change. I explained that I wasn't really in a position to spend on any extras before they even began. Without explanation, they ripped out my cabin filter and added a fuel cleaner adding an additional 12.99 and 49.99. That added to the already disgustingly expensive oil change broke me. Thankfully, I was able to get the ride share discount and the young man working gave me an additional discount to try and help. He was patient and kind while one of the ladies was aggressive and militant as she continued rushing him. The other lady with the long dark hair was nice as well trying to help with the cost but it was just too much. Final cost after almost $40 in discounts was $126. I pay less than $80 at my regular mechanic. Just crazy. read more

Went there for the first time because I needed a last minute oil change. Jose and Alyssa helped work on my car and were so friendly and nice. I was offered a cold water when greeted and felt very welcomed. They were very honest with me and helpful, I'm only coming here from now on.
