A bunch of con artists! I was quoted on price over the phone but when I got there that was a LIE! It's a bait and switch! They have a list of different blends and they try and scare you into the highest price service. I was given a discount coupon so that saved me some money but I could've gone elsewhere for a much lower price and gotten more services and NO extra charge. Just went to try and get my oil changed. It was around 7 something almost 7:20. There was two guys working on the spot and said due to them closing at 8:00 which was still 40 mins away they said they couldn't do it. What also caught my attention was that they looked like they were too high on the job which caused me to understand that's the reason why they didn't want to do. I was reluctant to leave a one star review because my experience with the Take 5 on Indian School and 28th St was adequate. However, in this instance, I drove in around 10:20 in the morning, and there was one car in one of the bays - to no greeting, no estimated wait time, no human contact whatsoever. I waited six minutes and simply left ... there is a Jiffy Lube DIRECTLY across the street. The story doesn't end there ... absolutely ZERO response from the Customer Service email address as well. Market share does not appear to be a priority. Never mind. Jiffy Lube wasn't amazing, but they did an acceptable job. read more

Came in on a Sunday in dire straights as my vehicle likes to suddenly stall when I need an oil change. So I puttered over here in hopes of not stalling and made it, barely. Then my hood wouldn't pop. We tried all the things and it wouldn't budge. Cornelius and Robbie were more than kind and went above and beyond with trying to get my hood popped as I explained to them I'd likely not make it back home without the oil change because of the sudden stalls. After much work and finagling, they were able to get the hood popped and we were on the way with the oil change. First this place is NEVER open on time and closes EARLY every single day. I went there this morning to get my oil changed the guy told me I I had to wait 20mins because there was TWO cars in front of me. One of the cars leave and then they guy tells me I have to wait another 15mins because they have to ALL work on ONE CAR. All of the staff needed to work on one after just working on two. I sat there a told of 25 mins before I decided to leave. And 20mins sound like a lot but it's it sure is when there are fully staffed and choose to work on one car. I don't know what to say. At first I was really pleased with the service. It got done quickly and efficiently. I noticed the first little bit of oil leaking from the car a few days after service and didn't think anything of it. Today, the car leaked almost the entirety of the oil out of it while I was driving to work. Thankfully, I didn't burn out my engine and end up stranded on the side of the road. Mechanic confirmed that the oil filter was loose. The maintenance that I had done at Take 5 was the last time anyone touched it....which leads me to believe that it wasn't tightened at the time of service. It cost me a tow out of pocket plus the work to have it fixed. Thankfully I didn't kill the car. read more

Took my car in for oil change: they put my air filter in backwards on my 2024 Niro Hybrid. After a week of restricted airflow it caused my engine to cut power. Almost got stranded due to my acceleration/speed maxing out at 40 on a roadtrip, lucky for me the Kia dealer I limped the car to was able to fix it super fast. On april 18th I took my car to Take 5 oil change on Chandler Blvd in Phoenix. They have 3 bays and I was directed into #1. Was told it would be a few minutes. It was over an hour before It was my turn.There were 4 employes on duty,When done the manager-LIZZ- inspected under the hood and then SLAMMED THE HOOD SO HARD THE WINDSHIELD STARTED CRACKING IN 3 PLACES. Lizz Noted on my invoice that she did cause the cracked glass. Was told a report would be sent to Corporate and they would get back to me in a couple days. It has been 12 days. I have 13 phone number for that company all take me to an answer machine saying leave a detailed message and they would get back to me. Yesterday 4-29-24. I had my friend who lives in Phoenix and was with me when this happened go the the location. Lizz said it was out of her hands could do nothing for me. She would not give me the phone number for the district manager. Had I read the information about the company I would not have gone there. I live in Washington state and it is against the law to drive a vehicle with a broken windshield. This is my only car. This is showing me they have no intent to make me whole again. read more

Should have read the reviews. 1st time, last time. Took over 35 minutes and at the end I was given one of my damaged skid plate bolts and told the bolt hole was damaged as well. Never had a issue in the past for oil changes with the skid plate. Basically told I could go to a machine shop and get it fixed. This was the most pleasant customer service experience while having my oil changed in my entire life. The manager - Ryan was amazing! I came in with a problem - My oil filter cap was stuck on. Well the last place I had my oil changed was at this location. Ryan was very calm and caring. Had me pull in and take a look. He got the cap off no problem and then educated me on the proper tool to use to remove the filter cap. On top of that - he was able to get me 50% off an oil change. Then I sat inside for another 10 minutes while they worked on the car next to me that was in front of me there was three of them working on that car and me sitting there alone meanwhile while I was sitting outside another car came through and got finished and done! Don't come to this location on a weekend unless you have 2 hours for an oil change. I've been here for an hour and 15 minutes thus far and only 1 car was ahead of me when we arrived. Nothing has been done to our car yet. There appears to be one employee actually performing oil changes and another one who has been chatting with another customer on and off for 45 minutes without actually doing anything. I popped in yesterday to get an oil change and was greeted by Derek with an ice cold water for me! I really appreciate how fast they work, and the quality and efficiency of service is not compromised even with them going fast. They were honest, did not try to upsell anything and Shawn really helped worked with my budget to get everything done that was needed. I give them 2 stars because they are very friendly. But past that it was a nightmare. It took me an hour and 29 minutes. You have to wait in a hot car once they pull you in. It is the blind leading the blind. It started out with just two workers then two more showed up. They did know how to do things.
