This was the weirdest customer service experience I've ever had. I pull up to the bays and Im stared down from a far from what looks like an employee. He walks unusually slow to the truck and stares at me confused like I'm in the wrong place and so I ask are y'all open?? He Says "yea"..I'm like okkk can I get an oil change? No answer just turns around and walks away, as he gets to the bays he still doesn't turn around or guide me in or anything just points nonchalantly at a open bay. I look at my girlfriend like whats going on?? Lol He was so pissed and the vibe was so off I didn't know what was going on. Im not expecting him to run up to the truck and be all over the top with the customer service but man it was if I spit in his face or something. Another employee guided me in and I just told them I'm good i don't need an oil change. They asked if I was sure and I said yea I'm good and drove off. I just had my oil changed at the Take 5 #176 on Prue Rd. I have three vehicles and have used others but after the customer service I received from Jerimiah, I won't be going anywhere else. He made me feel like he treated me exactly as he would his own grandmother making sure I got just what I needed, conversed with me like he had known me forever, and we laughed about how young girls DON'T take care of their cars. I thoroughly enjoyed my short time there. My 12 year old grandson made the comment that he would make a good addition to our dinner table. Horrible service. Asked them not to use power drills removing my skid plate and sure enough they use power drills. These guys take 30 minutes to put my skid plate back on yet I can do it by myself laying down in my driveway in 5 minutes. The manager clearly had a bad day and thought he'd take it out on me. Accused me of threatening not to pay when I told them I'd like to wait until the skid plate was properly put back on my vehicle until I paid. I was then threatened by the manager where he told me he had all my personal information. I will never go to any other chain of quick and efficient oil changing services. Just wish I knew about this BRAND years ago. Today I went in to get the oil changed and an inspection, but their INSPECTION services were down, somehow. However they made the experience enjoyable, very professional, engaging, and funny. Got my truck taken care of with the fluids, air in the tires. My truck was good to go. Can't believe I actually had that good a time. I look forward to the next visit. I took my car to a BMW mechanic as the final arbiter between Take 5 and the European car repair shop I took my car after Take 5. Conclusion: Take 5, by failing to place the insert in the oil filter cap during the last oil change is directly responsible for the damage to my vehicle's solenoid valves. BIGGEST conglomeration of idiots at one business.....not friendly, very reckless and just don't care!!! Took my car for an inspection and Nick reversed my car right into a pole. Knocked off the exact mirror he was looking at to reverse. Of course "we will take care of all the damage..." well yea you're gonna pay for it, I'm not the one who can't drive !!! ‍ he said "I can drive" you literally just proved to me that you can't....anyway , taken care of pretty quick till this happened but like i said they weren't really interested in doing their job. Left me standing outside till was given a vague direction in what to do next . Something like "we'll call you when the shop can get it fixed ...." We'll be waiting on their phone call....Nick was apologetic but what got me ticked is that the other employees (Quincy) was just laughing , grinning just having a good ole time at my expense.....but that alright I'll get the last laugh.....never go back to that place or any other of their locations. Keep in mind this was my first (and last)time at this business. I received a 50% off coupon in the mail, because my work schedule I wasn't able to do my oil change so the coupon expired (April 15th) I decided to visit them any way and maybe they would help me out. As soon as I arrived, I asked the attendant if they still be able to honor my coupon, after he read the date he told me No. I said, keep in mind that some other business (like Valvoline ) some times accept expired coupons, he's answer... "ok, you can go to valvoline".... ok!!!! Well, I visited valvoline and to my pleasant surprise they accepted my expired coupon from a competitor!!!! They game 50% off on my bill plus a great , friendly professional service. They nearly ruined my car by not knowing how to change the air filter which they said was dirty. Second time at this location. Both visit took over an hour.. they told me it should not take more then 15 mins but they are short staff.. I saw three employees and one trainee. Two employees walked around most of the time, going back and forth to his truck. Even with one person with all the equipment they have should take no more then 20 mins to perform a simple oil change. (btw---they had changed the oil the last 3 times) Although I've been promised reimbursal for my shop charges--tow truck-- Lyft rides to one of my appointments---- nothing has come. District manager said when I checked in after a month they had LOST THE PAPERWORK..... so they CANT CHANGE OIL or keep their PAPERWORK together. We have used Express Lube at this location for many years for our company vehicles and always had good service. Since the name changed to TAKE 5, the service motto from their team is "we destroy your engine and TAKE your money!" Within one week, we incurred over $7,000 in damage from bad oil changes. Last week, right after the oil change, the engine seized on one truck because all the oil leaked out. We took a second truck in for monthly oil change and after service, it was leaking oil everywhere and we found it completely out of oil and the filter was loose. The manager took no responsibility for anything. Then we finally received a call back and they offered us a FREE oil change!!! Wow! Another opportunity to damage another truck engine...NO THANKS! If you value your vehicle, think twice before taking your vehicle to this location for oil change service. read more

Had the car serviced at the store near the intersection of 281 and Bitters, very disappointed with the quality of service: oil hand prints on the hood, fenders, roof, didn't reinstall the air filter correctly, dripped oil on the engine, and they rubbed the oil hose over the fender and bumper leaving oil and grease residue. 07/11/20 2001 buick lesabre, gm 3800 series 3 engine. These guys knew what it was, already knew what it needed. Quick and professional, even offered me to look at the oil pan drain plug and filter under the car if I had any doubts. (of course I had to sign a waiver to not hold them responsible if I injured myself while I went down to the basement to see it for myself). These guys were quick, professional, and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend my wife's car/jeep. The shop manager there at the time obviously had some well versed knowledge about all the cars/engines he was dealing with and knew which oils were appropriate. I was in and out of there within 15 minutes. Considering the fact that I have actually changed out my own car's oil/filters before, with my own hands, using oil filter wrenches and such.....the fact that I could get my car taken care of in this way for only $67...without having to go to a friend's garage, using someone else's tools, etc...well, the $67 was worth it for the next 3000 to 6000 miles. They even let me inspect my car underside once I signed an agreement that dissolved them from liability if I hurt myself by going down into their basement where their employees go to inspect the undersides of cars. They did a good job. New filter installed...done. Oil pan drain plug installed correctly...done. I drove my 2001 buick lesabre home confidently. read more
