So this is the continues of the awful service I received at Take 5 on Rayford. I went to get an oil change on my Mercedes. Everything seemed ok as I am headed home my car starts to smoke. I called the number to the store, it sent to customer service. They told me to take it back so I sent back smoke coming out of my engine. Well they didn't put the oil cap on tight enough and lost about a quart of oil. Luckily I didn't get on the highway. Then several weeks later I had to go drive to Austin as I am headed that way. I am almost to Austin I hear a loud nocking noise from under the hood. So I pull over and see that those idiots didn't put the engine cover on right and it came loose and was hitting the cooling fan. THAT I JUST HAD REPLACED!!!!! So now my engine cover is ruined and the cooling fan is ruined. THEY ARE AWFUL!!! Guess who has to do all these repairs ME!! FUCK THIS PLACE!!! They most likely stripped my oil plug threads and then blamed the previous oil change shop. My vehicle is dripping oil now for the first time ever. The first red flag was when the tech dropped my oil cap behind the engine while removing it. It took a while for them to retrieve it. I should have left at this point. They refused any responsibility and would not provide me it's the managers information. I called Customer Service and the only option is to leave a message. Customer service was terrible and the manager at this location is rather rude. I have always had great experiences here in the past, but this time was the complete opposite.. I went in to get my inspection done. It was a Monday evening, so I expected them to be a little busy. What I didn't expect was to be skipped several times and be disrespected. I was told to pull into Bay 2 and that it would only be a few minutes. There was a car in each Bay, so it appeared I was next. However, another car pulled up beside me and got their inspection done before mine. I tried to not think much of it, until it happened a second time. After nearly an hour wait (mind you there were only the 3 cars when I got there, 1 in each Bay), they had me pull up to begin. After a few tests, the technician asked me to get out and wait in the shade while he did a break check. It was very hot, but I understood that it needed to be done. I waited in the heat for 15 minutes, watched him drive the car all the way around the parking lot, park it in the back, and then go to his computer. Finally he told me I could come back to my car. He said that my vehicle had failed the inspection due to the top brake light being out. I questioned him about this as the last time I had my inspection done (at this same location) and when I had work done at the dealership I was told that this portion of the light did not matter since all the other lights worked. He proceeded to make a rude comment about the situation, saying that that he doesn't know what the last people did but this is the rules and I needed to "deal with it". I felt like I was being talked down to and treated poorly because I am a female. When I tried to explain again that the dealership had told me it wasn't an issue, he interrupted me and asked if the light was a bulb or led situation. I said it was LED and that it would have to be in the shop for a while. He made a rude expression, one that came across as "that sounds like a you problem". He then walked off and got the paperwork. When he came back, I asked if there was anyone else I could speak with about the situation. He proceeded to roll his eyes, told me I could "feel free to call DPS because [he's] the manager and that's all there is to it". I personally will never go back to this location. If the manager thinks it is acceptable to treat customers in a poor way, that's a business I can't get behind. read more

Don't go here for inspections or for any reason where they have to get inside your vehicle. took my car here to get an oilchange and state inspection they did fine on the oil change that's no problem but Don't let them get inside of your vehicle! They had to take my vehicle around the parking lot and behind the shopping strip to "test' the brakes and when I get back inside my car my I notice something of mine was missing and I checked my car everywhere (i don't have a big car) even though what was missing was in my passager seat and I thoroughly checked around there. it was gone. I just got done paying $150 for and extremely overpriced airfilter (for $25! you can get them on amazon for $8!) an oilchange and a inspection. i already didn't trust oilchange places and most mechanics behind the stigma of a lot of them trying to cheat you and this experience backs that 100% Long story short got the constables involved they weren't able to do anything so I had to take the loss that's not on them though. I checked my car once more when I got home just to be 100% sure maybe I was in the wrong, but no I still couldn't find it. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF DISHONEST THIEVES! at least one of their "technicians" is the other were just backing their guy. Don't go here or at least don't let them in your vehicle for any reason. I've never had a problem with take 5 at other locations in the past, the company I work for in on their fleet program, but not anymore after this I'm done with take 5 and yall should too. read more

I was at the rayford rd location in spring tx and the technician kept suggesting the more expensive oil change. I had to tell him I wanted the 42.99 oil change 3 times. After he was down and took my card I thought it was weird that the total was almost $50 when they are offering 25% coupon. I went back in to discuss and now he is making me wait until he is done with the car he is working on in order to give me my money back. I don't believe this is good customer service. read more

Alexus is very knowledgeable and helpful with the whole oil changing process. The drain plug was stripped from a previous oil change. she informed me of this before changing my oil so I was able to go purchase a new plug. When I had problems 2 weeks later with an oil leak she gave me no issues when I brought my car back to have them check what was going on. If you have a skid plate cover on the bottom of your car - watch out!! on 6-16 I had my oil changed at the Springboro location and they left out several of the bolts that hold up the skid plate ( for the second time) and going down interstate 75 the plate dropped down, luckily it did not cause an accident. Absolutely amazing service!!!! They make sure to let you know everything and their recommendations and listen to what you want as far as pricing for your oil and don't try to haggle you into more. The manager Alexis came over to see if I needed anything and double checked over everything to ensure that all things were taken care of also came over to introduce herself asked if I needed anymore water and such. This isn't my first visit to Take 5, but this is my first time at this particular location. Majority of the staff was nice, except one guy was a bit rude but whatever. They were all professional. My experience at this location wasn't as good as when I've gone to others. Outside of the oil change they usually check for other things and even check the air in your tire, this didn't happen here. Seems as though they were trying to rush me out... not sure why because there wasn't a long wait or anything. Anyways I probably just won't come back to this particular location. Visited Rayford location on a Sunday. Arrived around 1:45 didn't leave until after closing @6:45 and car being towed to my mechanic. Remind you they close at 5pm on Sundays. Guy said previously installed oil filter was incorrect and my 2011 Tiguan was not supposed to have a canister filter. Needless to say he trashed part of the engine oil housing component and says it wasn't supposed to b there. I requested him to give me the part he trashed. After 15-20 minutes then called his manager as he says he couldn't get new filter on and previous mechanic cross threaded it. Guy tells his manager about incorrect part and manager asks for part so I gave to him and he reinserted back into oil housing. I called my mechanic to speak with manager and he tells my mechanic that he cross threaded it. Remind you this is a rebuilt engine and 1st oil change after work being done. My mechanic tries to guide him over phone on how to install filter by lining up the threads he says he didn't want to mess it up. Long story short car had to be towed. Worst experience ever. Please stay away from this place. Otherwise it will cost you more than the cost of an oil change. Also this place has over 350 complaints with BBB(Better Business Bureau). My mechanic installed a new oil filter in less than 5 minutes. Take 5 technicians need more training.Also completed a complaint form on their website and have yet to hear back from them. Also manager says they have cameras so they definitely need to view as they will see how long it took for uncompleted work on my vehicle as well as the horseplay that goes on while working and guy vaping on job. read more

It was priced a little higher than usual - around $40 or so. The following week I went out of town and left my car parked in the drive way. I returned to find my car had leaked oil on our drive way. I asked them to match the price for the upgraded Mobil 1 and they refused. They offered to give me a regular Mobil 1 that was a different weight instead. I have been here several times and I say, today, March 20, 2021, was the worst experience ever. Dominic was the Service Tech - I guess Viviana was the Manager - and when went around a second time to ask about what was not done - there was a Technician named Delvin. Donovan told me they did not have the oil that I usually get but they could give me the location of a different store that has it....or, I pay for GTX Magnatec oil for a much higher price (and, I need to pay for 2 additional quarts at $7.99 ea). I was told if I change the oils it could ruin my engine...I should probably go to another location. Really? I am upgrading and it is going to ruin my 2016 engine that has 48,313 miles....well, I am hoping I got the oil contents I paid for because I sure know I did not get the service on my receipt that I paid for, (and I made a second drive thru because they did not do it). I took photos just because there was no excuse that what I was charged ($82.52) for a service that was not done. My receipt says they cleaned my windows, it says they they checked the wiper blades, it says they checked the tire pressure...i could go on on what my receipt says....NOONE TOUCH MY WIPERS, NOONE LOOOKED AT THE TIRES, NOONE CLEANED THE WINDSHIELD - I already knew I did not have windshield fluid - he said I was good to go....really??? He DID NOT add Fluid to my WINDSHIELD Tank until I told him I knew it was empty!!!! I was so upset that I drove back thru with my receipt IMMMEDITELLY and said these services were not done but my receipt says it is...Delvin, said, the computer does that....we don't do that....WHAT. REALLY!!! That IS NOT the service that I have had before - By the way, I asked Dominic, the one that I hoped actually changed my oil and filter for $82.52 - and the one I had the let know my windshield fluid tank was empty - for a Brochure or pamphlet on the services that should be provided for $82.52 - He sent Delvin (technician) to ring me out and take my cc.......I never got a brochure, or windows cleaned, wipers checked, tires checked, and, I am not sure my oil actually got changed - No One ever opened the radiator cap - or pulled out any "sticks" that checks fluid levels...even after they supposedly, changed the oil!!!! they DID NOT DO THE SERVICE I OVERLY PAID FOR!!!!!! read more
