I had a fantastic experience here! I needed an oil change; being new to the area, I spent quite a bit of time looking at several places. I decided on this business, and I'm happy I did! When I pulled up, an employee (I wish I could remember his name!) came up to my window and offered me a nice, icy bottle of water while I waited for the car in front of me. I didn't wait too long before it was my turn. I was told which options they had. I decided on the middle tier synthetic oil since it was good for high miles. Everything went very smoothly: along with my oil changed, the air filter was checked, all fluids checked, and my windshield cleaned. I couldn't have asked for better service. I'm also super happy they have a free top-off service! That's awesome! I'm glad I chose this business. I'll definitely continue choosing this business in the future. read more

They installed my canister wrong, unbeknownst to me until I brought it to a real mechanic. I asked that mechanic to fix it and when I called Take 5 they hid behind a corporate policy that I have to bring the car back to them. I tried to explain multiple times that it's already been fixed so me bringing it to them really wouldn't help anything. Round and round, they just hid behind corporate policy instead of doing the right thing and giving me a refund. I guess that $150 was worth losing a customer for life. read more

Worst service ever. 1 of the employees talked on his phone the entire time to his baby mama. The other seemed very knowledgeable no complaints there but the other employee was a complete joke. He handed me the keyboard to type in my own info and I couldn't even see the computer screen Take 5??? More like take 45 min because the employee assigned to my car decided to sit and talk on the phone the entire time. What a complete joke I will never come back here again. Oh and he talked on speaker phone the entire time so everyone heard the conversation. Also the employee who was actually knowledgeable and knew what he was doing made a comment about the other one always being on his phone. Idk the employees name who was awesome but give him a raise. The technician, Eric, changed my oil, but did not do any of the other checkups. He did not check tire pressure, washer fluid, coolant, or wash the windshield. On the receipt, however, all these services were marked as done. Disappointed with the visit. read more

This is my second time visiting the location today, I noticed today I had the low pressure light come on in my car so after I left work I went over to take five oil change and I pulled up the employee currently went up to my car and asked how he can help me I told him my situation and he went right to work, he was very nice and very fast and I asked him about windshield wipers and he gave me a good brand and installed them and made my overall trip very nice. They try and up charge you every chance they get. They are very rude and condescending. No one is on the same page. They made fun of my filter. They told me a new one would only be $8, when they gave me the total it was way higher than it was supposed to be. I had a coupon for 25% off an oil change, I got from calling in advance, but they can't stack coupons. She had told me the filter was so cheap because of a different coupon. I asked to get my old filter back and they were not happy about that and were making jokes about it. It wasn't any cheaper than a normal oil change. Total was $75.36 after I did the 25% off coupon and put my old filter back in. Also, it took over 45 minutes (no one was in line behind me). I am never coming back here. I thought it would be nice to be able to get an oil change without having to drop my car off. I would never subject anyone else to the manner I was treated. read more

I loved my experience here. Michael and Mikah (I believe that was his name) we're very sweet. Michael broke everything down for me and was very transparent. It didn't feel like he was pressuring me to spend money and that he genuinely cared about my experience. Valvoline always gave me the worst time for not knowing much about cars and made me feel uncomfortable. Take 5 was overall a great atmosphere! Miserable place to go. Got an oil change and they told me I needed to get the air filter changed. Took it apart and didn't put it back together properly after realizing they didn't have the part. This caused the engine to get too much air and resulted in a loud sound the 2023 van had never made before. When we took it back they looked it back over and refused to acknowledge they could've possibly done anything wrong, meanwhile their whole shop reeked of marijuana. The manager (Schaun) refused to speak to us until Monday (we live 200 miles away). So when I got back and took it to valvoline in my home town they recognized the problem immediately and fixed it within 5 minutes. To summarize, they refused to to accountability for their work. Laughed at us for suggesting it could've been them. Manager wouldn't even get on the phone. All for it to turn out they didn't put something back together properly. Bush league. Stay away. read more
