on 4/30/25 I came into the Leesburg location for an oil change. One of the techs came to my window with a broken dipstick in his hand and says "I am sorry I broke your dipstick, I will speak to my manager and order you a new dipstick" That was 4 weeks ago and several phone calls and still no dipstick. To make matters worse I keep being told that the district manager Sammy Melecio will call me back. I have made numerous calls to customer service dept (352-702-0701) with no satisfaction and still no call back from Sammy Melecio! I am truly insulted that I can't get a simple phone call. My advise is to stay away from Take 5 - very unprofessional company!! read more

A little bit of upselling on the high mileage oil, the air filter did in fact need to be changed. Sean led his cordial crew of easy to understand dudes, and is a guy who likes to chat with customers. I like that a second set of eyes goes under the car to verify that the first guy did not lose focus under there, calling off double-checks out loud. read more

Service was fast. Took my daughters Honda Civic. I downloaded a $25 off coupon first. Total price came to $33 regular oil change. The guys are always very friendly very fast and there'snever a wait. They top everything off. Also, show us the parts that are coming up for needing replacement like a filter. He even recommended a very cheap way for her to clean her battery terminals. They all are very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile for you. Never any pressure to buy anything. They will say you will need....you can wait on that. Terrible service , asked for a manger and said he was busy with "work related stuff " , as he was on the phone with employee. Pretty darn pleased with the efficiency and speed for my first Florida oil change. The guys were professional and explained everything. Yes they sold us filters, but i know they needed replacing so dont feel scammed. They actually didnt push for wipers which i knew were okay. Offered a cold bottle of water and basically we sat back and watched a well oiled machine work. Hope I wasnt supposed to tip, because i am not sure of protocol. They greeted us as soon as we arrived, brought us waters and let us know it would be a few minutes wait as they finished the people in front of us. All of the people we came in contact with were very friendly including the person who answered the call when asking about pricing (which is cheaper than other places). I saw people complaining it took a long time but they're providing a service and you should try to be patient with them. read more

Guy tried selling me everything.But what car needed which was a oil change. Air filter new. Car just serviced at Chevy dealer. Guy told us we needed 15000 mile fuel system service. He acted like if he knew it was ready for it. When I laughed because I worked in car dealerships in my life. He told me he could show me that the car needed his fuel cleaner. Ok I am done. They attract you in with a $16.99 oil change and then insist on you buying some other package. While I have gone there a few times with ok results, the last time I went was horrible. They insisted that I needed a new serpentine belt which they would of course, change for me for $89. They told me that it would be too difficult to change on my own. I asked a mechanic relative if he would help me change it and he agreed. I bought the $16 belt and when he looked at the belt in my car, he said I still had years on that belt before I would have an issue. They also tried to upsell me on a couple of other things. I respectfully declined and they were insistent. I still declined and went on my way. Since that oil change my car had been running horribly. It did not seem to want to shift gears. It almost felt like my car was shifting into neutral. I checked my transmission fluid and it was EMPTY! It was fine before I took it in and now empty. It seems to me, they were hoping I would bring back my car and get the work done since my car was running so poorly and put the transmission fluid back in. I will never go back. The cheap oil change is just not worth it! read more

I needed my radiator and window washing fluids checked on Thursday, but knew my oil didn't need changing yet. These wonderful people (at Take Five in Lady Lake) not only checked the fluid levels in my car, and topped them off, but checked my oil just to make sure all was well, and they even checked my tires with no charge at all. They were great and so very kind! You bet I'll return there for an oil change when my car needs it! read more

This location tried to scam us and say we had a coolant leak. The guy went under the car and told the other guy we had a bad coolant leak. We do not! So we told him put our oil cap back on and we told him he was scamming us and we contacted the corporate office. So beware! read more

Went in for a oil and coolant change , they forgot to put coolant back in , the car over heat 1 mile from the shop Car doesn't run now and they won't fix it The customer service department will not answer phone or emails and they don't return messages Beware !! I needed an oil change for my 2014 Dodge Durango, Limited. When I drove up, the service rep asked me to pop the hood. He looked under the hood and had me drive in to the service bay. I asked for a full synthetic oil change and was informed it would cost extra as my model car required 6 quarts vice 5. I asked if they gave a military discount and was told 25% off. When I looked at the service list, the complete charge for a full synthetic oil change was listed at $79.99. The service rep then informed me my model car required a special multi part oil filter that would cost an additional $11.97. I said I had never paid for a special oil filter before, but he assured me it was necessary and did I want to proceed. I said go ahead and do the work. So when the work was completed my out the door cost was $79.44. So much for the 25% discount. Today, I called a local Dodge Dealer and spoke with a Service Writer about a special filter for my Dodge. He informed me no such filter exists and they use standard filters on all Dodge vehicles. Guess this is how they treat vets in this area. I plan on submitting this to the BBB and Corporate as a scam. read more

I was at the location on 441 in Summerfield yesterday Feb. 12, 2018 for a oil change and to replace my wipers. These guys were awesome!! They were very professional and knowledgeable. They answered every question i had for them. Weeks ago I accidentally changed my mileage on odometer from miles to kilometres. Because I was a current customer at another location, when he looked in my car for a milage update on my file he noticed that the odometer was reading kilometers instead of miles. When I explained to him that I did it on accident and have tried numerous times to change it back but couldn't, he switched it for me without hesitation. I was so happy because everytime i checked to see how many miles I had until empty, it was in kilometers. The little extra time he spent with me was very rewarding for me, and I really appreciated his kindness. The three guys that helped in my maintaince prevention visit yesterday made me feel like I was important to their place of business and made me very happy for choosing and trusting them with my vehicle.
