Don't go to Valvoline instant oil change if you want your car to last! I went there to get a transmission drain and fill at 100,000 miles just to be safe. They drained my oil and never replaced the oil and then once my transmission started slamming into gear they would not refund my money and just gave me the runaround. This is not fiction. I moved to The Villages Florida 4 years ago. I used to use Firestone for my oil changes but they were extremely slow and sitting in the waiting area, you never knew exactly what was going on with your car. I found Valvoline driving by one day in Bellevue. I figured, what the heck, so I banged a U-turn and was next in line. What a great experience. These techs are just great. They do everything right in front of you. I get all my lights checked, tires inflated and I've also bought wipers there several times. I have four cars I keep on the road and I bring them every one. Their checklist is extensive. While they are pretty quick, they never seem rushed, they take the time to really focus on their work. They also offer many different types of services such as a/c checks and rear differential fluid replacement just to name a couple. Another cool thing about Valvoline is they always send you various coupons to help keep you on budget. Please don't just take my word for it, drop by and check them out for yourself, I'm definitely glad I did. read more

Went to the Valvoline for an oil change, left with dirty oil and a "check engine" light that came on while driving home. Cost me over $200 at a dealership down the road to get my car fixed. The dealership even said that it was apparent that someone had recently been messing with the environmental hoses underneath the vehicle. Valvoline denied all responsibility and didn't have the decency to even get back to me. I would not recommend ever, ever go to a Valvoline Oil change place!!!! read more

I've been going to Valvoline for many years and I've always had a great experience with them. I like that the oil changing process is fast and I can get a basic check on my vehicle when I'm there. I was near Wildwood during my drive and needed an oil change. I went during the day and it was not busy. I was served immediately and the service was fast. The thing is, it's probably the most unwelcoming Valvoline I've been to. They were really quiet and I felt uninformed the whole time. Normally I would be fine with it and let my customer service standard go, but they didn't check my lights like they usually do. (Well, as they didn't tell me anything I assume they didn't do any maintenance check like other Valvoline I've been to.) I discovered later that night that one of my front headlights was off. Then I wish they would have checked it so I would avoid driving long distances on the highway at night that day. Overall, the oil changing process was fast, but I'm disappointed that I didn't get my usual maintenance check (included in a full oil change service) as I was used to. For people working 9-5 and don't have much time bringing cars to mechanics often, it would be nice to get a quick check when getting an oil change. It was not busy at all, and it's included in the oil change so I don't think I'm asking too much. (FYI.
