This is my favorite place to go to get a car wash! It's also my new favorite place to go to have my oil changed. I appreciate those who work there two of them I know by name Mike the mechanic and Sheri. They always greet with a smile. And they take care to hear any grievance I may have when it comes to service. Which I've never had a grievance except one time had nothing to do with them yet they were still awesome and checked. I love my car wash! I love that they care about veterans. I've been a loyal customer of Splash for years, which makes this review all the more disappointing. I recently paid $269 plus a $40 tip for a bumper-to-bumper detail. After only a couple of hours, I was told my vehicle was ready. Upon arriving home, I noticed multiple areas--cup holders, dashboard, controls--had not been properly cleaned. I called and was asked to bring the vehicle back, which I did. When I returned, the technician simply wiped the two front cup holders and claimed the job was done. I informed the manager, who apologized, said he would handle the cleaning himself, and promised to email me a complimentary bumper-to-bumper detail for the inconvenience. I appreciated the gesture. However, instead of the promised service, I later received a $40 gift card. When I called to clarify, I was told that although they believed the promise was made, they do not actually provide free bumper-to-bumper details. I never requested a free service--it was offered to me as a resolution. To make matters worse, my car is still visibly dirty. I wish there was 0 stars. This is what I get for trying to support local businesses in my area but I wish I read the reviews before taking my car here. Expensive for no reason. I was out of town and got a call saying it was $270+ which I was ok with. I get back 3 days later to $400+ bill. $240 to replace $16 bolt that took less than 1hr to replace and then $120 for "storage" when they knew I was out of town. Mike quoted me $110 diagnostic fee which would be credit back if I chose to authorize repairs which is complete BS. Then Nicole with a completely condescending and unempathetic attitude then tried to justify this ridiculous "storage" bill on their huge empty lot. This place completely destroyed the Instrument Cluster Display. After paying close to $200.00 for an Oil change and Interior Cleaning, the instrument cluster lens was turned into an Opaque mess that is hard to see through. A 2022 Toyota 4Runner with less than 20,000 miles and they are the ONLY people who had ever cleaned the interior, yet they deny that it happened at their facility. I highly recommend not to go to this place for any service at all. The owner and manager are both unprofessional and rude. I went for a wash and it costed me 60$ from 5$ due to that old historic poor car wash they have. I can only imagine them touching a vehicle mechanically. The historic machine sliced my tire inside with two big gashes and the person directing me in heard and saw it but didn't say anything. When I get out the car wash, I had some unprofessional lady tell me there were no signs of her machine damaging my tire. Let along I drove to this car wash fine while I was working. Now this unprofessional lady makes me take my spare and basically tells me in my face they not even going to look at my tire just put my spare on and has the nerve to say at no charge. My blood starts boiling now, I give them the spare and take a deep breath. Soon as they take the tire off is when I noticed their historic machine tore my tire up. At this point nobody wants to even look at the tire so automatically it makes me think immediately this has happen before to someone I bet. This unprofessional lady tells me that my tire had to be low on pressure when I came into the wash which is a bold face lie. When I was being directed in the car wash I heard a quick hiss as soon as got my tire on the track inside the wash. They person guiding me again looks tells me put it in neutral and I go in. As I'm going through it feels weird. when I get out sure enough my tire is nearly off the rim because I went the whole car wash with this flat tire. BEWARE! The representatives of this company take advantage of their customers, LIE to your face, and fail to communicate while servicing your vehicle, and even worse; The mechanics do not take responsibility for mistakes made while tending to your vehicle. I've given Nicole and the "mechanics" who worked on my vehicle a fair amount of chances to make the issue they caused to my handicapped accessible vehicle right and they now refuse to speak to me over the phone or in person. Which unfortunately has left me no choice but to share my traumatic experience with them via reviews and seek legal counsel. The damage to my handicapped van has caused immense pain and suffering in my daily life and yet they refuse to show accountability for what they did. All of this could have been and would have been avoided if SPLASH communicated one simple request during the visit. "Brenda, how do we move your handicapped motorized wheelchair?" instead they took matters into their own hands which left my paraplegic husband's ONLY source of transportation in utter shambles. Find any other place to wash and service your car - the chance of SPLASH wreaking havoc on/in your vehicle and then blaming you for damage is very high! When I pulled in the guy at the front warned me that only had one guy doing the inside and it would probably be 45 min to an hour tops. I was ok with that. My truck was pretty dirty and needed cleaned pretty bad. I waited an hour and a half for it to be completed and it wasn't even clean. You'd think after spending almost $40 your vehicle would at least be clean. I'm not expecting a detail quality job but come on. My steering wheeel console wasn't even touched. read more

I brought my 2012 Ford Fiesta to Splash Car Wash and Lube today, Sunday December 8th, to be washed and detailed. They had a special for the cost of $34.99 which included both a car wash and detail. A gentleman named Corey, who ran my car through the wash, looked at the condition of the interior of my car, which was rather dusty and had leaves on the floor, and told me that for an extra $5 they could upgrade the level my detail. He stated, "It'll take a pretty long time, but your car will be spotless when it's finished". I decided to take them up on their offer to spend more time cleaning the interior of my car for this additional fee. As I was told it would take a while for my car to be cleaned, I called a friend who lives near the carwash to pick me up. I stayed at her house for roughly 90 minutes, and when we returned to the carwash, my car was in the exact same condition as it was when I had left it. They literally didn't do a thing. The dashboard was still full of dust; there were still leaves on the floor in both the front and the back. They literally spent no time at all towards trying to clean my car. I spoke with the manager who informed me that there was mold under one of the floorboards. I asked him, "so you can't clean it?", and he responded, "Well we could. It would just take a lot of time". I PAID AN ADDITIONAL FEE FOR THEM TO SPEND EXTRA TIME CLEANING MY CAR! He didn't offer me an apology. He didn't tell me what I needed to do to get the car cleaned properly. He pretty much just told me to get lost. I realize that they are running a business and that they were rather busy, but when I pay for a service, I expect it to be completed, especially when I pay extra for that service to be completed meticulously. I am a working professional. My time is valuable. I drove from my home in Fishhawk up to Brandon as I had used this car wash in the past and they were inexpensive and detailed my car satisfactorily. I was honestly in shock when I went to pick my car up today. I have my telephone number on file with them, but they didn't reach out to me to tell me that they were unwilling to clean my car. Between driving time and waiting for nothing, I wasted 2.5 hours that could have otherwise been spent productively. I was told that I was issued a refund as soon as I spoke with the manager, but I checked my bank account, and all that is visible is the initial $41.67 charge for the detail. The refund is nowhere to be found. I am absolutely livid. If you consider yourself worthy of respect and believe that you deserve to be treated with professionalism, look for a different car wash! The excuse that it would take too much time to clean my car, especially when I paid extra for them to take extra time to clean it, is more than unacceptable. It's reprehensible. I will be doing my best to get in contact with the owners to see if they will be willing to correct their manager's error in judgement. I want my car cleaned (as was agreed to) and I want it done for free. I will also be disputing the charge on my debit card if I do not see a refund as soon as I check my bank account tomorrow morning. I honestly cannot believe how I was treated at Splash Car Wash today. I hope that they'll see this review and learn from their gross error in judgement. They have removed their popular wash discounts and acted angry and spiteful when I politely asked why. I was shocked at the rude behavior of the Latino man who "helped" me; and management seemed to side with him. I won't be back. This business doesn't understand friendly customer service. I've been using Splash Car Wash and Lube for the past 8 years and they NEVER let me down. They have the most awesome team working together to service cars, but a very knowledgeable one at that. Tuesday morning I realized I was losing tire pressure, so I immediately called the shop and they ordered a tire and told me to stop in whenever I could to get the tires swapped. I went in this afternoon and it took them a couple minutes to get the job done. They are the ONLY people I trust to touch my car. I had some empty wrappers and water bottles on the floor of my car and that's typically no issue at any car wash I go to, & I typically tip pretty good because I know it's a lil extra work but at this place apparently it's a huge thing. They told my husband they would charge an extra $20 removal fee... the car wash/detail Is only $34.99. We said fine that's ok. I find it hard to find good self serve car washes in Tampa Bay. I would return to this location due to the cleanliness, decent carwash and free vaccums. Pro tip remember to push the vacuum button 5 times for it to come on. There are signs stating this however they're badly sun faded. I was given a free terry cloth and small air freshener with my $13 vip car wash purchase. There is a small vending machine that offers tire shine, cloths and window cleaner. They completed my oil change and changed my cabin air filters, in less than 15 minutes, I also went ahead and had my car washed and got a great priced. When I pulled out of the wash went over to there detail section, they had clean rags and window cleaner so you can detail your car. I took my Dodge Ram through the wash. It did not do a good job. I had to remove the winch from the front of my truck to go through. After the was I pulled up to the vacuum bays to finish. I had a lot to do on the hood & roof as the was had done a very poor job. A snotty girl who worked at the place came walking round my truck. Eventually she looked me in the eye & said," you know there is a self vacuum & wash down the street for people who don't use our wash to go".
