I love an outdoor/beach venue. And live entertainment? Count me in everytime! I didn't try the food because I'd already had dinner but the drinks were pretty decent. On the pricy side but to be expected. Overall I'll definitely go back for a girls night.

I truly wish I took more photos. But we were extremely hangry lol. When booking the beach club experience, you receive a meal credit and the time you book is for the restaurant not the beach. You are not able to order food from the restaurant to the beach fyi. You are able to remain at the beach for the rest of the day (until sunset I think). Beach chair and towels provided. Cabanas and hammocks aren't available on beach. They are in a separate location from the beach. Our server Kata was wonderful. I would recommend asking for her. She was very accommodating. Spicy margaritas here were great. I believe a pitcher is approx $85-$90. The salmon tartare is a must! We had to order more. Manchego croquettes were a group favorite. Grilled octopus was amazing. Market salad was surprisingly great especially in the heat. Gambas al ajillo (shrimp) didn't have much flavor. It was just ok Grilled steak and calamari were solid dishes. Paella was not our favorite. It's pasta noodles and flavor wasn't for us.

I love this place- but likely only because I'm a member. The prices are REALLY high here, portions and menu size are limited and the service is slow. The music and vibes are great and the drinks often hit the spot too. I'd recommend coming during happy hour when prices are lower.

Such a cute outdoor restaurant. I had the tala burger cooked medium with fries and the burger was perfect. Juicy and delicious. I also had their pina colada. They have a good variety of cocktail options and tapas to share as well as bigger bites.

Hidden gem in Miami Beach. You feel as if you have been transported to a beach club in Tulum. Our bartender, Lauren, was awesome. She recommended our drinks and told us that the gambas al ajillo were the best thing on the menu. She was not wrong. The space is huge and even has cabanas. Great music was playing the entire time and it really set the vibe.

Service - 5 Ambiance - 5 Drinks - 4.7 I had been trying to come to this place and never did for one reason or another. Now, I regret I didn't do earlier. The place is beautiful, Tulum vibes from end to end, with well-mixed cocktails and chill music. It's a great spot to come with friends and have a great time while having delicious cocktails and listening to a nice playlist or if you are lucky enough it is maybe one of those days they bring a DJ. Enjoy and cheers!

Gorgeous ambiance with a convenient location near the beach! I love that this restaurant is not intimidating and has more of a chic atmosphere. It does not require heels but a more stylish beach attire. The NY Strip was my favorite item on the menu. Loaded with flavor from the dry spice rub and the French fries were everything!!! The hummus and oysters were also great appetizers. I will definitely be returning to check out the other menu items. The staff are extremely attentive as well. P.S. you can validate the parking at the restaurant for a discount on your valet bill.

I had a great time at the opening event at Tala beach! The paella was amazing, the servers were very friendly, and the vibes were unmatched! Definitely plan to come back to this place again.

Tala is officially on my list of beach restaurants to have good food, enjoy the weather and jam to an amazing DJ. First please note this is located ON THE BEACH. Ladies, leave the heels at home. Also, CHECK THE WEATHER, it's completely outdoors with the only covering at the bar area. Therefore, make sure it's a perfect sunny day. Now the service was absolutely amazing, from the hostess to the server. My friend and I went for brunch (on a Saturday). Please note it's not your typical brunch menu, so if you're looking for bottomless this isn't your place. However, they do have amazing specialty cocktails. I had the Tala spiritz and my friend went with their popular tala colada (note it's frozen). On to the food, the menu is mediterranean. I had the avocado toast, which was pretty good you can't really mess up an avocado toast. My friend had their burger with fries. I must say the fries were seasoned well and so good I had to order some for myself. We also tried their cinnamon roll which is great amount of sweet. Really really loved it. I plan to return because I want to try the regular menu.

The Ocean Drive location does it right: great service, very friendly and fast, food that was amazing across the board. Loved my first taste of a traditional, genuine Cuban sandwich, ham, roast pork, Swiss, pickles, mustard, all pressed together and served with a mountain of shoestring fries, as close to the source as I could ask for stateside. Ordered a rum and coke and they hand it to you in a genuinely giant glass, perfect for getting the party started, even though it was a random Monday afternoon. Vibes and atmosphere were immaculate the whole visit. Great first stop in Miami, and a great way to kick off the week that followed.

After looking at the reviews I presented Mareva 1939 as my top choice. I contacted them and made a reservation for 10 people, and after the first reservation time I had to adjust with Mareva for people arriving in late because of flights. No problem for Mareva and they didn't need a deposit for the restaurant. It is in the National Hotel, next to where we are staying box 1 check. The place was beautifully decorated and staff all attentive throughout the night. That was my criteria not my boss' since the lack of good service can destroy a great meal. The food choices all were excellent but centered on tapas and Spanish cuisine which checked the second box. Served family style we all chose a number of different tapas and shared. Then large patella dishes, they were plentiful and all delicious. Lastly the price, which may seem high for those outside the area but not for those who know Miami Beach. The bill for the 10 of us that included several drinks person and enough food and desserts to leave us full came to $1,002 including tip and taxes. All boxes checked and my boss and team happy, Mareva 1939 was a huge success.
