The restaurant itself is absolutely adorable--the indoor spaces are especially beautiful and well-designed. The outdoor areas show a bit of wear (understandable with the Miami weather), so they don't look exactly like the photos, but they're still enjoyable. It was incredibly easy to get a lunch reservation, and the staff was very accommodating--even though we arrived about 15 minutes late, they were kind and welcoming. They also let us choose where we wanted to sit, which was a nice touch. The biggest surprise of all was the food--it was really good. I had the burger and it was delicious. My daughter ordered the Cuban sandwich and said it was phenomenal, and our friend had the chicken Caesar wrap, which she loved. The fries were perfect all around. We also had the sweetest waiter. While we were taking photos, he suggested we check out "the library," which was such a fun tip. It's a very cute aesthetic- especially for photos, and the pool looked very well maintained. They also had a restroom steps away that was clean to use. Be prepared to pay a ton of money for food, drinks, and space. We rented two day beds for 12 of us so we had a "spot" and had to spend $2k minimum for food & drinks which we easily did. If you're ordering anything from the food menu, it needs to be the truffle fries. There are big portions, so it's super easy to share everything. Staff were friendly, but definitely upselled things. The billing experience completely overshadowed our experience here. My biggest issue wasn't the final math--it was the communication. While we were there, we believed we still hadn't met our minimum spend, so we ordered another bottle specifically to get there. Looking back, it appears we may have already been much closer than we understood. When I later reached out to ask for clarification, I wasn't looking for someone to erase charges for items we consumed. I wanted someone to acknowledge why the confusion happened. Checked out this spot because Namaste Life events hosted a reset social that included yoga, boxing and free goodies from soo many vendors. I truly enjoyed the event and the scenery. This was a pretty decent experience. This is my second time coming and it's your standard lit pool party. I was told by promoters that it's the only pool party on south beach right now which was pretty interesting. Initially we were sat on a beach couch right under the sun with zero shade but that's because we got there super late so kind of our fault. But everyone with me was complaining so thankfully they were able to move us once someone left. We got wings and chicken tenders and those were pretty good as they always are. Lol we also ordered pitchers of margaritas which were decent but not amazing. I felt like our waitress could have come around more often than she did and apparently the bartenders were very slow and not hospitable in serving some of the people I was with at the bar.... But the energy at the party was definitely good. People were clearly there to have a good time and the music was pretty good too. I would suggest this event to anyone that has never been to Miami or been to this party and wants a very lively pool party experience. We loved hearing the music so we were fine outside. I had a steak cesar salad. The steak was cooked beautifully. Also, bottomless rose was delicious! My only complaint was that they seemed understaffed. I only saw one server and it was a Saturday morning while a pool party was going on at the pool. The server also only served me 2 glasses of rose and made a comment that we drank them too fast. Tonight we tried to bring our kids and had the same experience! Valet was no where to be found, took forever, not even completely confident the guy was a legit valet. I would give it zero stars if I could! Horrible management! They charged us 10$ to check in bags at the front and leave our towels saying they should provide it upstairs. We even told them we need most of the stuff in the bag upstairs but they kept saying bags aren't allowed and we should carry in hands everything we need! We went to the pool and were told we are out of towel ?!?! And we saw most of the people coming in with bags free of charge. Came for the strawberry moon pool party on Saturday (with no room reservation) There wasn't much information online, so I didn't know what to expect prior to going. Basically, be dressed to go to the pool because there's no where to store your stuff unless you get a table or say bed. Tables start at $750 minimum for drinks/food and day beds start at $1000. The drinks are going to be $27 after tip while getting a pitcher was $200 each, so we thought a table was a better deal for our group. Bottles start at $550. This is all before their mandatory gratuity and tax. For food, we just got a place of fries at $24 (most expensive plate of fries I've ever ordered haha) that were well seasoned. Service was pretty attentive but it did take a while for pitchers to come out. As for the "party" aspect, it was pretty packed (probably 75% women), but not a lot of people were dancing- even when the main DJ came on. Most people seemed to leave by 6pm too. Overall, I had a blast. The lower rating is just for how expensive everything was- but that's to be expected for Miami Beach. Great spot for a bach or something tho! read more

TLDR on brunch; it's super cute but pretty unorganized, especially for a large group, which can kill the vibe. I wanted to love strawberry moon. It has a trendy name, a color palette a girl could love and oozes Miami trendiness. We went for a girls trip brunch and pool party while in town for the weekend. The interior brunch space is absolutely adorable, truly an influencers dream with its light pink and green hews. There's fun frill and art deco features everywhere. Brunch: It took 5-10 mins for our large party to get seated. We sat outside which backs up to the pool area on a raised platform. The music was so loud that our waiter could not hear us and we could not hear her. We had done some sort of group pre-fixe promo, which we had to communicate with the hosts, then the server, then the hosts again and then the server again. So communication was off from the get-go. Ultimately our waiter shared she had fired our apps and they'd be out quickly. Being a girls trip in Miami we were excited to get a round of drinks and start the brunch off right, but unfortunately the waters took awhile and then the apps came and then our waiter took drink orders and semi- disappeared. Bus boys kept bringing additional forks and knives because we were missing some things from the table, but none could help us to get drinks. We downed the apps and sat for quite awhile and then the entrees started trickling out. The first 4 came out, followed by 3 more 5 minutes later. It took about 20 minutes for the whole table of 12 to get their food. By the time the last entrees came the first people were finished and we still hadn't gotten drinks. We ended up getting our drinks shortly thereafter and as they were dropped ordered another round. The second round came out quickly but somehow we had already been there 2.5 hours (mind you that apps were pre fixed and came out in the 1st 10 mins - truly before the number of waters debacle was settled). We were told that dessert was going to come shortly but we decided to get the check. We just wanted to get up to the pool party. I ended up explaining this to the staff, who graciously gave us a discount but the disorganization had kind of gotten our party down. The food was actually tasty though, and prettily plated. Pool party: only small bags allowed, still not sure what that means but everyone in my group only brought a small purse plus one empty reusable bag for our clothes while we got in the pool. The space is crowded. Full on Vegas pool party vibes with cleaner water. Surprisingly the bar staff churned, we never really had to wait that long despite the crowd. Nowhere to sit unless you pay for cabanas (not sure if chairs cost but if not they definitely fill early). We ended up stuffing our stuff up against a wall in a pile on the ground, because all space was taken. The DJ was great. The water was actually cold but it was February so a lot of people sat on the pool edge. Great space, really cute, not as big as Vegas pools Wish the capacity was lower but get they have to make $. Also the routes to the bathroom were pure idiocy and dependent upon what security person was standing where. The full moon package is a bit confusing. Basically they give you a set pastry as a starter, you get to pick any entree on the menu and then there's a set dessert. We enjoyed almost everything. The pistachio cinnamon bun was decadent! The cream cheese icing was soooooo good and the perfect amount of sweetness. The pistachio topping was the perfect finish. Honestly, I would go back just for this cinnamon bun or if we were heading back to our hotel, I would've ordered one to-go! The French toast was interesting - it was deep fried and rolled in sugar. Not the fan favorite. I had the Godfather, which was basically a pepperoni pizza with hot honey. It was soo good. The portion was perfect for one and the hot honey was sweet with a little kick. My friends had the burger and they were fulfilling and the fries were a hit. One other gal had the avocado toast and it's not your basic avocado toast. It was a large portion and so pretty! Very fulfilling too. My other friend ordered the chicken kebabs and it was yummy. We ended with their baklava cheesecake and...let's just say it was our least favorite item. I came across Strawberry Moon on Yelp when I was looking for somewhere to go for dinner around the area I would be in. I had seen on social media that this new hotel had opened this summer so I was excited to go check out Goodtime Hotel while having a nice meal. Strawberry Moon was a little hidden in terms of trying to find the hotel and then getting to the restaurant itself. There's lots of ads around the windows of the first floor of the hotel indicating Strawberry Moon so my guest and I were a little confused trying to open doors. We went in the lobby of the hotel and was told to go up to the 5th floor. We then arrived and wow, what a beautiful hotel! Definitely a chic spot with pink and greens. We arrived early and explored a bit. The restaurant ended up being able to seat us early. We made it just in time as it was the last day of Miami Spice so we were able to sample a 3 course menu from them at a cheaper rate. We each ordered different items to try a little of everything! We also had some wine and a cocktail. The Strawberry Moon cocktail I ordered was extremely strong. I was not expecting that. We had tried The Godfather and the tuna / salmon raw appetizer. Both really good! The Godfather is just like a pepperoni pizza. We also tried an impossible dish and the roasted chicken. They were both flavorful and a hit. I was recommended the roasted chicken by the server as that was one of the restaurant's most popular dishes. I thought the portion was a great size as I still had a bit leftover. We did finish the night with cheesecake and another dessert they had. Both had us really happy that we came here for dinner even though it wasn't too price conscious. We were here on a Friday night and just when we were about to leave, the DJ was setting up. It looks like they have a DJ on the weekends at night. Service was decent but we couldn't find out server for the majority of the night. By the time we asked someone else for him to bring us the check, we gave him our credit cards. He ended up removing the original receipt and just giving us the credit card slips to sign. To tip was an option on these receipts. The total looked off to me so I asked to see the original receipt. The original receipt included a service charge of 20% so I made sure to tell my friend. The server wouldn't have told us and nothing on our slips indicated that we would be leaving an additional gratuity. It was a bit sneaky from our end. End of the night, we had a rideshare to come pick one of us up. The rideshare ended up being on the other side of the hotel to pick us up so just watch out for that. We have eaten at Strawberry Moon quite frequently, even when not staying at the Goodtime Hotel and it never disappoints. I love Mediterranean cuisine, so this was right up my alley. I started with the Purple Rain, Pharrell's signature drink. The bar staff are super friendly, as are the servers, but I usually prefer to be seated at the bar. The color scheme and ambiance are top notch- it's so hard to leave every visit. Their flatbreads, dips such as the hummus, and desserts are to die for. If you think this spot is touristy- think again, as it has some of the best Mediterranean around. As for the pool party- you will never be somewhere like it. It was So Good!!! Strawberry Moon is on the 3rd Floor of the hotel. You can make a reservation, let the hostess.know that you want to go inside of the restaurant or just walk-in, especially as we were able to do that because it was quiet w/ a few patrons there during the happy hour. Strawberry Moon has both Indoor and Outdoor Dining. We enjoyed both during our stay. Both have vibrant, beautiful, bold colorful decor including the walls, artwork, chair & table settings ,cool lighting fixtures, etc. The Outdoor area is breathtaking to view w/ gorgeous lighting at night. Purple Reign Cocktail ($8) - Avion Silver, Tequila, domaine dc canton, shahu, butterfly pea lavender, yuzu Spicy Jaja Margarita ($8) - Jaja Tequila, dos hombres Mezcal, Mango, Lime, habanero. Godfather Pizza ($8) - Flatbread Shaped Pepperoni Pie Hummus w/ Pita Bread - ($8) Ashley makes fabulous cocktails. They were well-mixed, well-prepared and tasted so smooth and were refreshing. Both the Pizza and Hummus w/ Pita Bread were marvelous. Everything was DELICIOUS! Cutesy and Instagram-ish decor for pics. Love the music played -- when I was there, it was reggae/dancehall. There's an outdoor pool which is nice. I visited over a year ago, so my memory is spotty, but I do remember great service and the food was tasty. I would visit again for sure. You'll have a good time. read more

This place is for people looking for a very specific vibe, one of aesthetic only but very little substance and absolutely no value if you aren't willing to pay at least $750. At the least you'll spend $22 to check the bag you didn't know you couldn't bring in, $40 for entry, and $6 to rent a towel because you cannot bring your own. Water is at least free, unless you want to pay $20 for a basic cocktail. If you want any kind of seat or shade, you'll have to pay an insane price for just a pair of chairs and an umbrella and thousands for anything nicer. Other than that, there is very little shade, which should be a hazard for a rooftop pool. With everyone fighting for wall space to store their things and people sitting in clusters desperate for the sparse areas of free shade, it looks more like a community pool than an upscale day club. The music was not enjoyable. Bad remixes that even the drunkest of heat exhausted girls didn't seem to enjoy. I expect day clubs to be overpriced, but this place made for a good photo and that's it. read more
