I was next in line but one cashier had to leave and get something for the people she was helping and the other kept checking out people who weren't in the line. The line seemed pretty well marked, unless there was some VIP line I didn't know about, which could be the case. Anyway, I got to check out after a short wait. I was asked if I wanted to round up for JC Penny cares, which I don't know what this is but it sounds like a clever ploy for the company to pay less taxes. I said No Thank you, but she rounded up my price anyway. I was too uncomfortable to say anything so I paid the extra 81 cents. Anyway they have a good belt collection so 5 stars.

So I called. The associate cancelled that order and sent me an email confirming the cancellation. He advised me to go back to their website and reorder. I did but this time it would not allow me to apply the promo code (said I had already used it). So I called again. This associate re-entered all the information, took my correct shipping and billing address (are the same) and reapplied the promo code. So far so good. She put me on a brief hold and YEP! we got disconnected. So I called back. The third associate could barely communicate in English, and I am very patient and tolerant when English is a second language. She could not figure out how to reapply the promo code to BOTH items on the order. I hung up. I'll to Brook Brothers instead.

Today, I didn't start on the right foot with being confused by text messages and emails and online only versus store sales. I was prepared to buy several of one type of tank. I did leave the store to check online and call customer support. I was so ably served by both Brittania and supervisor, Kendra, over the phone. Kendra encouraged me to go back in the store as I said I want this store to get credit for an in-store sale. When I spoke with Patrice and explained to her what Kendra would do for me, she immediately said that she would honor that. I was treated kindly, respectfully, and more than fairly, and I sincerely thank Patrice, the store manager, and encourage folks to shop at Chico's in Pittsford.

He has probably purchased upwards of 5 suits from this business. When some family friends recommended this place in 2021, we came and had a great experience. However, on our last two trips back (2024,2025), there has been a notable difference in the way we were treated as customers. Not only did they not do pre alterations due to a "miscommunication"by an inadequate staff member but staff was beyond short on the floor and we did not get the one on one experience. Additionally, because we live 2 1/2 hours away and don't need extensive alterations we often have the items shipped (free of charge) because we live so far and are returning customers, or sometimes they will throw in an item such as a tie because of this. On this last trip back, they couldn't even ship our suit free of charge for us. So, Incognito, Where is the customer loyalty? I am sad to say I won't be returning and will find a place more local to us as a result of this. Disappointed at our (lack of) experience and what this place has become in terms of customer support and also professionalism.
