    Salmon Bento Box
    Cathy C.

Yelp Review 2025 #251: Chef Dale Talde of Top Chef fame has a noodle bar at New York's La Guardia Airport - Terminal B. My other options were Shake Shack, Italian, tacos, BBQ, pizza, cheesecake, doughnuts, sandwiches/ wraps. I had a little bit over an hour to have lunch and go to the restroom before boarding my flight. I wanted something that was reasonably quick but with better quality food - no fast food. So, I checked out Talde Noodle Bar. Google doesn't even have this place when you search it so I thought this place went out of business until I saw it. I sat at the bar and was given a menu. They have breakfast bento, rice dishes, noodles, dim sum, and mochi for dessert. Bento Box Special: 3 pieces of gyoza, edamame, fried rice, and choice of char siu pork, chicken, shrimp, or salmon. I chose salmon. It was just the right portion with a good variety of food. It was tasty, hot and comforting - just what I needed before a 5-hour flight. 4/5 The lady behind the bar who was serving me was great. She checked on me a few times to make sure I got everything I needed.

I don't watch much TV, but when I do, sometimes it's cooking shows. A couple weeks ago, I discovered "Bobby Flay's Triple Threat" and very excited to see Dale Talde competing - and even more excited to learn that an iteration of his former Park Slope restaurant had reopened at LaGuardia Airport. I used to frequent Talde in Brooklyn and was sad when it closed, so this was a great surprise. I fly in and out of New York often for work and was already planning a trip, so I made a point to book a flight departing from the terminal where the restaurant is located. I arrived early and gave myself plenty of time to enjoy a relaxed meal before heading out. The food was great! I started with the edamame with togarashi, yuzu salt, and butter - a generous portion that was so good I took more than half of it home in a to-go bag. It ended up being excellent later that night with sushi. I also ordered the chicken lo mein, which was delicious, with chili crisp that tied everything together perfectly. I added one kung pao bao and a small side of lovely green tea to round things out. Excellent service, thoughtful details like bento-style dinnerware, great vibes, good music, and friendly people all around. I can't wait to try more dishes. 10/10 - highly recommended.

Had a great airport meal at Talde Noodle Bar before my flight! I ordered the bao shrimp with a side salad, and both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The shrimp had the perfect crisp with just the right kick of sauce, and the salad added a nice refreshing balance. Service was quick and friendly, which is always a plus when you're traveling. It's right next to the waterfall which makes the ambiance even more dreamy! Definitely one of the better airport dining options -- I'd stop here again next time I'm at LaGuardia!

I figured I had an early flight. Let me try egg food yo one of my favorite Chinese staple. I had a choice for the fried rice or vegetables. I did the fried rice. I was disappointed not exactly a traditional act young just a omelette with sausage over microwave eat rice.

    Bento Box Special and Ramen

the most expansive and the most nasty bento box i ever had, feels like getting fully scammed and as you can see on the photos for this price($34.95) the amount of food provided is ridiculous.

They have a yummy veggie egg roll! (am guilty of being inebriated after 1-2 drinks) Perfect pitstop before a quick flight back to ORD.

Talde is a noodle bar in the middle of concourse B atrium. You may think you are going to a bar but plenty are here just to eat before a flight. Great spot to sit and watch the fountain while eating something different than an airport burger and fries. Made when ordered, the ramen was served hot and I took it to go. Not the most beautiful dish, it has all the elements you expect in a bowl of noodles. The price is comparable to everything else in the airport and definitely more than the local economy.

    Wings

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Food- The wings were really nicely coated in the sweet sauce but still really crispy and fresh (they were piping hot as well). My only minor complaint was their ramen, which was pretty serviceable taste-wise but had a weird noodle texture which threw me off at first, but I was able to get used to it over time. Overall though, I really enjoyed the flavors this place provided, and was surprised by the quality of this, considering the rep that most airport food gets. Service- Really nice and clear service, being very understanding of any misunderstandings my group had with the menu. Ambiance- Really nice table and bar design, basically no notes for them. I wasn't really hungry whenever my group checked in for our flight, but after taking a look at the menu we decided to give it a try, and I'm glad we did. Although the prices are a little expensive, Talde is really solid and knows what it's doing for sure. I recommend their wings especially if you plan on coming here before your flight.

Very nice Noodle/Ramen Restaurant/ Bar in Concourse B at La Guardia Airport. I got the Shrimp Ramen, and it was very tasty! The Gin Martini was also on point! Service was very quick and the staff are friendly.

I had a kung pao wings and a cold beer before my flight. The new airport renovation is beautiful. I sat at their bar and really enjoyed the food, environment and the servers!

I only came for the beer, and they have an outstanding selection. This little place has a wonderful view of the runways, and the service is very quick and friendly.

The Scarlet Vetter says.....stuck at Laguardia Airport for a few hours, so I took a seat at this fun, airy and bright looking bar to order some food and a much needed libation. I decided on a signature cocktail....the Yuzu Margarita--Tequila, Japanese Citrus and Orange. Refreshing! Then for sustenance, I went with the Talde Bento Box. Yum. It was quite good. Three Dumplings on a bed of raw cabbage, a healthy amount of Edamame with a butter sauce and a subtle spice, fried rice with vegetables and the choice of Char Siu Pork, Chili Crisp Chicken, Kung Pao Shrimp or Salmon. I chose the pork which was braised and ohhhhhh, was it tender! A good sized portion as well. The bartender was attentative and pleasant. I hung out for a couple of hours with no pressure to move along, but there were always a couple of empty seats at the bar at all times, so if there was a line I would not have done that. Nice place. Next time I will try the Tater Tots (extra crispy!) With Sriracha ketchup and the Ramen!

    Ramen with Chicken
    Irene L.

My server Shanzida was great! She helped me out with recommendations for what to order - I got the ramen with chicken. It was good, very filling. I wish it had more vegetables but it was one of the best Airport foods I have had, and I normally don't even eat at the airport. If I had more time I would have gone for a drink! They have an awesome selection! It was right by the window and the "water show" in Terminal B. I would highly recommend! The people next to me ordered the Bao and they loved it! (It looked very good as well!)

My three-star rating reflects the pricing rather than the quality. At nearly $50 for two modestly sized dishes, the cost felt excessive, especially considering the food was comparable to other solid Chinese restaurants in the area. You can argue that is due to the third party delivery fees, but I've never come across such a pricing for such portions sizes on delivery apps.

The kitchen here doesn't shy away from traditional flavors--the food is unapologetically spicy and savory, avoiding the "overly sweet" profile that many Thai spots fall into. Here's the breakdown of what we tried: Tom Yum Goong: This was the star of the show. It had a sharp, clean heat and a perfect citrus punch without that syrupy finish you often find elsewhere. Crispy Pork Belly: Exactly what you want it to be. The skin was incredibly crunchy, and the meat remained tender, seasoned perfectly to highlight the savory pork flavor. Fried Fish: Deep-fried to perfection with a light, crispy exterior. The sauce paired chili and fish sauce with fresh mango. Crab Fried Rice: Generous with the crab meat and wonderfully "wok-hei" (charred) and salty. It wasn't bogged down by sweet soy sauce, allowing the delicate crab to shine. The only real sweetness of the night came from the Mango Sticky Rice, which was the perfect, cooling end to a very spicy meal. The mango was ripe and the coconut milk was rich, providing the only sugary reprieve of the evening. Service was so nice. The hostess and sever were so nice and friendly. The severer felt like a Thai uncle, he made jokes, gave us napkins, joked with my child. It felt so familial. The Pad see ew has sauteed wide noodles with Chinese broccoli, black soy sauce, and egg. Both dishes were very flavorful, delicious, delectable, and appetizing. The dishes were very filling and there was a good proportion of noodles and protein. I've had the Rainfall in Loei and Fang Martini Time, both are really good drinks and not overly strong. We shared the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was good. The mango was very fresh and the sticky rice with coconut milk was sweet, but not overly.
