I've been here before and the bagels themselves were very good, but odd to put caraway seed on everything bagels. I guess everything shouldn't include "everything." I went today and found they were closed without any notice (on the door or otherwise). This is how places lose business because they are unreliable (see Cafe Chismosa). There are plenty reviews about how great the bagels are. But today I tried Tallia's grill for dinner and let me say it was fantastic. The kind owner offered to prepare the lamb chops which were not on the menu. Something told me to take him up on it. It was a really great call. For 15 bucks I got six tasty lamb chops fresh off the grill with rice hummus and a side salad. Needless to say the chops are great, but the rice was a really nice surprise. The yellow rice was aromatic and flavorful, better than any yellow rice I've had in Philly. For $15 I don't think there was any saffron in it, but it sure tasted like it. My wife got the salmon salad and it was also amazing. The salmon was seasoned with a very subtle citrus that took the cell to the next level. I'll definitely be stopping by Tallia's grill for dinner again! read more

I ordered two breakfast sandwiches for delivery for the total of 16.46. The sausage/egg/cheese bagel did not have nearly enough meat or egg on it. The sausage was approximately 1/3 the size of the bagel. The majority of the sandwich consisted of bagel with nothing on it. I would not order from here again. read more

Talia's was AMAZING!! Duaa, Adel and Talia were so sweet and welcoming - they offered us so many samples and made us feel at home. I recommend getting there early because they were sold out of many bagels by 11 am when we got there! The mom and pop who run this place are absolutely lovely. They really enjoy taking care of their customers. The bagels are really good and for the price, you can't beat it. Not exactly a "new york" style bagel but they add their own Mediterranean style and it is delicious. We walked in one afternoon looking for some bagels and lox cream cheese, which is delicious btw, and the wife and husband offered us samples of all their salads and spreads. It is my go-to for cheap and delicious breakfast sandwiches (my favorite is the sausage/egg/cheese on onion). This is a small family owned business. Looks can be deceiving as you enter the shop, like a typical coffee shop. We ordered jalapeño cream cheese bagel, chicken kababs, sandwiches, and falafel. The kebabs were excellent so was almost everything we ordered! Would highly recommend this spot if in the area. Note that this is not fast food, you may have to wait as they prep the meal. My boyfriend and I just moved to the area this past weekend and wanted a quick bite to eat. I love mediterranean food so we went down to Talias. The staff were so, so nice to us from the moment we walked in. I had their falafel wrap and it was absolutely fantastic, probably the best falafel i've ever had. She also gave us a free sample of the falafel before the food came out and my boyfriend loved the falafel too. We also got to try their white fish and their hummus, both of which were also amazing. We didn't try their bagels but they looked HUGE, and if you're going to eat a bagel it might as well be a nice homemade one instead of garbage from Dunkin.
