Caribbean Carne Tacos

This has become our go to spot for tacos. There's something about sweet plantains that go so perfectly with this combination. The place is super nice with good music always playing. The service is good, usually you order at the kiosk and then you sit and someone brings you the food. Overall can't complain! We definitely will be back.

For a "fast casual" style restaurant, I was surprised about how delicious and fresh the food was! We ordered at the kiosk of their tablets, took a number and waited for the food runner to bring our lunch to us. Had our food within 15 minutes. My husband loved his chicken quesadilla and said it was probably one of the best he's had. I'm usually on the fence about fried fish (I prefer blacked) but my fried mahi tacos were pretty amazing. It's not on the menu, but I asked for a side of sour cream and got this amazing lime crema that really set the tacos off. Definitely recommend!

Fun taco place with a really cool atmosphere. The food was very good and I can see myself coming here for a casual Taco tuesday. I tried the chamoy drink and it was salty but tasty! The street corn and steak tacos are my favorite, super juicy and full of flavor everytime.

Talking Tacos was a solid experience overall. The trio taco option is a great choice because it lets you try three different types in one order, which is perfect if it's your first time or you just want some variety. The carnitas and al pastor tacos were awesome full of flavor and cooked just right. The birria tacos were very delicious too, although the ones I had were a little salty, but still good overall. The vibe inside is nice, with cool background music that makes the place feel relaxed. I also liked that you can self-order at the front using the display, which is pretty convenient and modern. That said, it would be helpful to have someone hosting or guiding customers through the ordering process, since the menu is pretty big and can be a bit confusing at first. Overall, it was a good experience, the tacos were tasty, and I'd definitely go back.

Birria Taco

I came here since my friend had gotten me a gift card a while back. It was fast service and the people were helpful with ordering. You can either order at a kiosk or online, the food came out fast. Food: we ordered the birria tacos and steak burrito. The first birria taco we took out had one side that was completely soggy and falling apart. That was disappointing since the same thing happened at the other location we visited. The flavor was okay/good in the sense that it was good enough but did not impress me. The steak burrito was just okay as well, it didn't taste like everything was seasoned well and the chips that came with it were stale. Me and my partner both agreed that the experience was just okay.

Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos Burrito

Took a chance on this spot based on the reviews. When you get in, there's a kiosk that you order from near the counter off to the left - no server interaction. We ordered WAY too much food, but didn't know until they started bringing it out - the guy told us so and he was right! The Birria Mac-n-cheese looked amazing.....but was just above average (3.5 out of 5). My son LOVED the Birria burrito (4.5 out of 5). I had the bang-bang shrimp tacos (5 out of 5!) and the Birria tacos (4 out of 5). Know that when you order, it automatically adds a tip (18% I believe) which for the lack of service is totally not worth it. People were kind enough, and would go back again.

My to go order (Street Corn Nachos)
Morgan S.

I recently visited Talkin' Tacos after visiting a family member because I was craving for nachos for dinner so I ordered an order of Street Corn Nachos to-go. I usually like to order from their starter menu section because the quantity is HUGE. I couldn't finish in 1 sitting after eating this because it was a lot. I mean that in a good way. I love leftovers. Their Street Corn Nachos was so delish but I didn't think it was too spicy. I'd say if you can tolerate Takis, then this is okay. By the way, it's been a while since I visited this restaurant location so I forgot to bring a jacket. I was cold within a minute especially that mega a/c they had near the pick-up counter. I'd say this location is a little smaller than the 1 in Aventura. I'll definitely be back if I'm around the area and craving for Mexican food.

Even though there were some imperfections, some ingredients were scarce, the flavor of the Pabellón Chicken Quesabirria and the Chicken Quesabirria was great. The employees were all very pleasant. It's not a full service place, you order at a kiosk and they bring you your food with a number or your name. I would like to say is that this is not only a Karen Free establishment it is also a knife free establishment. I was shocked when told there were only forks, spoons and chopsticks! Well, I roughed it and used the back of the spoon.

Supposedly Birria Tacos

I've been here many times and sadly when stuff starts taking a turn those are signs of trouble. I orders birria tacos and the opted to use nacho cheese. Now I understand that they were thinking to continue to make the sale and give what they got. This should not be the case. If you don't have all the ingredients to execute the order then let me know and give me the option. Taking it upon yourself to just give me something causes a lack of confidence that your loyal customers that are willing to understand. Things happen and can be out of our control however if you know you don't have all the needed ingredients then take that item off the menu temporarily until you have everything needed. Side note: you should maybe consult with individual that places orders for the ingredients as they clearly missed the mark. Also look to train your staff to common sense should this arise again.

Taco Party Platter
Jennifer L.

I've been a Talkin' Tacos customer for a while now, mainly ordering through UberEats. Most recently, I hosted family at my house for a birthday gathering and picked up a taco party platter that has 30 tacos with 6 different protein options to choose from for $130. It was a hit amongst us all and I would consider ordering this again.

Tres Leches Cake

We ordered takeout here and the food was amazing. The Uber driver was great! The food took a while and was delayed. The horchata was delicious, but almost half of it came spilled in the bag. The cake was a bit melted but it was so good. I will return in person.

What I ordered

I came to try out the trendy Talking Tacos yesterday, and it very much did not meet my expectations. Usually, when I eat at a taquería, it has that authentic energy, but this felt like a cheap Americanized version of a Mexican restaurant. It felt like I was celebrating Cinco de Mayo with all the fanfare of skulls and Mexican colors, yet Harry Styles was playing in the background. The workers seemed very tired and just trying to make it through the day. The food was terrible. We ordered: The Quesadilla Pabellon: This was pretty good. The plantains made this dish. Everything else about it felt greasy and very poorly done. Street Corn in a Cup: This was dryer than the Sahara Desert. Usually, street corn is more saucy, yet this was as dry as they come. Birria Grilled Cheese: I originally thought this was going to be amazing; however, this dish was nothing special. It was very dry, and the flavor was nonexistent. It came with a side of fries, and those were really soggy. Churros: Man, let me tell you, these suckers were so bad they make Churro Mania feel authentic. Very simple, dry, and lacking any kind of flavor even with the cookies and cream. Overall: I wouldn't even call this Mexican food. I know they have multiple locations, which makes it convenient for others to try, but I feel like the owners are just trying to get paid (which I respect), but there's no love for the food at all.

This was hands down the most incredible birria taco I've ever had--I was absolutely thrilled and delighted by every single bite!

Got the Crunchwrap. Pretty yummy! I do wish they had a pico for my chips (which were really stale). But the flavors of my entree were good!

I reviewed this on google maps. I didn't like the tacos but they have a customer base that they cater to. I'm in the minority.

Do they have gluten free options?

When I looked through their menu they didn't have any

As of today, is the Davie location indoors or outdoors? It seems as if it's a food truck but other pictures show a traditional restaurant.

They don't have a davie location, they're are located in Miramar, Pembroke Pines, brickell, wynwood, Coral Springs, and many more but not in davie.

Is there a special on taco Tuesday?

I believe they have at their Brickell location since it's the newest. I've ordered from Miramar on a Tuesday and didn't get any specials. Hope that helps! 😊

The ceviche is great, fajitas are sizzling, and there are plenty of options for the kids. Complimentary chips and refried beans. Excellent friendly and attentive service with a smile. There were seven of us for Taco Tuesday, and from the moment we sat down, our waitress seemed irritated that she had to serve our table. We ordered quickly because we already knew what we wanted. I ordered four Birria tacos on corn tortillas ($19.00) and a michelada ($9.90). Everyone else's food came out correctly, but mine did not. The tacos were clearly served on flour tortillas instead of corn. I politely pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced. Instead of correcting the order, the waitress brought back the exact same plate and looked me in the eye while insisting they were corn tortillas. They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.
