I didn't know this but every closet business, Closet Factory donates a bag to foster kids and I love that. I've done it twice now! This is the program: https://www.closetfactory.com/about/closet-factory-cares/. Everything went as planned and they were done in about 3 hours. You can't beat the Costco incentives. This review is way overdue…read more Jackie and Closet Factory did an amazing job for our home remodel project. Our primary goal last year was to remodel our master bedroom and bathroom, and this expanded to our master closet and garage. Jackie was the master at helping us re-engineer a complete change in our master closet, guest bedroom closet, coat room, and garage. The final product was nothing short of a masterpiece! She created a layout that is nothing short of a work of art for our master closet. She crafted a design that allows us to have multiple layers of hanging clothing areas that doubled our space, with suggestions to our GC on back painting the wall Tiffany blue to make the closet super zen and show worthy. This included soft closing doors in the garage, two levels of hanging space in two guest closets, and a master closet that is a show piece. And at half the cost we were quoted from California Closets. Jackie is so easy to work with, and super professional!

Tl;dr: Nicoll is AMAZING and clearly knows what she's doing when it comes to professionally…read moreorganizing your home! Read on below if you want more details about the whole process. So...here's the thing about me. I love stuff. I love having a variety of stuff. I love having colorful pens, cute bags, books...you name it, and I probably started collecting some of it at some point. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with wanting to have and own those things. But what I did notice was that the sheer amount of that stuff was really starting to stress me out. Things didn't have a place. My closet and dresser and drawers were stuffed to the brim. I found it difficult to enjoy these fun things I owned because they were mixed in with other things I didn't enjoy or use anymore. I found that I was hanging onto so many items for years "just in case," and the case would never arrive. I'd tried for years with things like the minimalist challenge and reading self help books to try and get rid of things, but I couldn't seem to make a dent. That's where Nicoll came in. My partner helped me find Nicoll on Yelp and connected the two of us together. We had an introductory phone call where she asked me some questions, and I shared my frustrations with getting rid of things and really needing help with it. We ended up making an appointment for a week later where she showed up with her toolkit and bag of bags for donations. We did a little walk around and I shared areas of stress for me and what I wanted out of the space, which was to know where everything was and to know what I owned. After the intro assessment we dove right in. In the next few hours we: ⁃ Took EVERYTHING out of my closet and purged SO much of it. We went piece by piece and she helped ask clarifying questions (when did I last wear it? Do I like it?) and could usually pick up on if I actually liked something. I noticed patterns of how I reacted when I loved something vs when I wasn't sure or was sort of convincing myself. This is an exercise I tried doing before on my own, but when there's someone standing there, who you paid to help you, who's not attached to your stuff....let me tell you, it changes the game. I found myself deciding to donate (and sometimes sell) what must have been at least a third of my closet (clothes, hats, bags, electronics, etc). ⁃ She busted out her label maker and helped organize and label shelves in categories that made sense. Now I know where everything is! ⁃ She packed up all the items I decided to donate into bags and packed them into her car. It ended up being about 15 bags of things which was absolutely wild to me. Nicoll taking these bags out of my house was a game changer, because there have been many times I've decided to donate items that just end up sitting there in bags for months! I noticed that night going to bed that my room felt emptier, in a really good way. It felt calmer, cleaner, and like I could breathe a bit easier. Some people might read this and think that they shouldn't have to hire someone to help them organize. I know for myself that I hit a wall when it came to organizing on my own, and I needed to ask for help. I'm so glad I did, because it changed my life and my relationship with "stuff." I'm confident that Nicoll will be able to help you if you need it, and I cannot recommend her enough!

She also gave us on-the-spot lessons in design theory, which I genuinely appreciated and can now apply moving forward. He then helps you make thoughtful decisions about what to keep and creates practical, intuitive systems that reduce friction in everyday life. Keith is perceptive, patient, and completely nonjudgmental. He knows when to let you think, when to ask the question that clarifies a decision, and when to offer a strong recommendation so the project keeps moving. Nothing felt cookie cutter or imposed- the goal was always to make the space work for us, rather than forcing us into someone else's idea of an organized home. After working with him, our apartment feels calmer, more functional, and easier to maintain. He is also genuinely enjoyable to spend a long session with, which matters for this kind of work. I would recommend Keith without hesitation.

After six sessions he's not only transformed my space but my relationship to it: my home is no longer a source of stress and chaos, but a sanctuary where I can fully unwind. I can now maintain a baseline of organization with ease, without needing long weekend cleaning sessions. I know where everything is and don't need to waste time searching for my things. I never thought I could be this type of person. What's special about Keith is that he doesn't just organize, he teaches you the skills required for maintaining an organized home over the long term, tailored to you. He's trained with Marie Kondo and specializes in organizing for ADHD. He asks excellent questions in the decluttering process and has brilliant strategies for organization--I don't have ADHD but find that his methods work very well for my busy pace of life. I've developed a better understanding of why disorganization happens and how to address them and create systems as needed. All that to say, working with Keith is one of the best investments I've ever made. He's also a lovely person to spend an afternoon with, and always communicative, warm, and incredibly punctual. I'm so grateful to him and could not recommend his services more.
