The food here is great but the customer service and the many times they will get your order wrong brings it down to a generous two stars. If you get someone's order wrong try to take fault at it rather then throw blame at the customers. We have had the breakfast burritos here for many years but this last time was the final straw. Coming from Arizona and growing up eating traditional mexican food this place is "A-OK", as my 3 star rating would suggest. I only tried this place because there must be at least three others...somewhat successful, si? Successful or not, I was underwhelmed. I ordered the #1 Combo with a crispy relleno upgrade. The relleno had no cheese, it was just a batter fried pepper and had an unfamiliar taste to it. The tamale was no great shakes, not bad though. The enchilada was, I think, made with a flour, not corn, tortilla. Everything came swimming in a thin chile that had some hot bites here and there. There wasn't anything particularly bad but there was nothing that stood out as being better than a Mexican TV dinner. I was asked if my order was here or to go. Saying 'here' meant my Styrofoam container came on a tray instead of a bag. Ambience is nonexistent...it's as if management sees no need in even trying to create any. Last thing...the faucet in the men's bathroom is missing its aerator and the water sprays out towards the back of the sink, making it impossible to wash one's hands without contacting the sink when rinsing. The food was fine, not as good as the Sloans Lake location. The customer service was absolutely horrendous. From the time I placed my order on the phone and felt like I was putting them out, to when I arrived to a lobby full of people waiting on orders and at some point the manager/owner drops the f-bomb because he's unhappy with something one of his employees has told him. Are you kidding me? Then I get up to the counter to pay for my order and the rudeness and unhappiness continued. Maybe he doesn't like his job? Maybe he was having a bad day? But whatever it is I would sure hate to work for him and I will never buy food and has establishment again. Worst customer service ever! I will not be back! I've been coming here for many years and I can say without question they are constantly good. I have to admit, I always get the same thing! I love (and I mean LOVE) their breakfast burrito with Chorizo, Egg, Potato and Cheese. Dang, it's good. I can't leave without getting at least 2 dozen Tamales! One dozen beef and one dozen veggie. My friend wanted Mexican food in a hurry so we stopped here. It was okay. Canned sauce on my cheese enchiladas. The beans were cold and had crusty parts indicating they had been sitting for awhile. Lots of cheese and sauce on the plate - bit overboard on the sauce. The chips were not fresh - stale. He liked the salsa and his burrito. I thought the salsa was okay - too much heat or it would have tasted better (I'm a Mexican from Phoenix - I like hot but you have to taste the ingredients not just heat!) I ended up with an upset stomach overnight - have to believe it was from the food since it was all I had eaten that day but my friend was fine...who knows. My Wife & I Each Ordered a Tamale Plate to eat-in, I also ordered 3 burritos (one each of steak, chicken & Pork), I ate the Steak burrito there (smothered) -(green / other 2 burritos to-go)... I mentioned separately too 2 of the staff that for my taste the food was "way Too Salty", the first guy could have cared less about my critique, the second guy was slightly more interested & said that the Littleton location pretty much receives their food precooked & pre-rationed. He said that he was unable to test taste the food (Steak filling) for himself and that if he does refer customer comments about the food to the location that prepares the food it is hard to tell if anything will be or was done about it... It is easier to add "Salt" then too take it away! We won't be back any time soon if ever! read more

Visiting the area, a friend and i stopped in after hearing about the 24 hour breakfast burritos. LOVING BB's i was super excited. I was a little disappointed , they weren't as great as people had said they were. A little on the spicy side and had a chili mixture in it. They were more like a burrito with egg, which doesn't constitute a breakfast burrito. It was a good atmosphere, a d the staff was super helpful. I love this place! T.k. is a staple within my diet. There are a couple of them in the Littleton area both bomb! Personally I favor the Bellview location. Of course there known for there breakfast burritos, but everything there is amazing. Also if you really have a craving, the steak breakfast burrito is worth the extra few dollars. This is only based on their breakfast burritos. The burritos are of good value. Not too pricey and a good size. The green chili is always great. The meat portions in the burritos can be small on some occasions but still a good burrito. Make sure to get it special or smothered. If you want a good burrito go to the tamale kitchen on wadsworth and chatifield. The location on Kipling and bellview not only had bad customer service but was the worst burrito I ever had. It consist of 2 tortillas and potatoes. There was no sauce cheese or meat. I took 3 bits and they were all tortilla. I didn't even finish it. Not only are they stingy with there ingredients it also was more expensive then any other tamale kitchen I've been to. This restaurant shouldn't even call themselves tamale kitchen.
