I have been going to Tammy Nails for coming up on two years to get my nails done. When I tell you Tammy Nails will forever be my favorite place to go, I am not exaggerating. I drive home from University of Delaware specifically so I can sit in Wendy's chair get my nails done and catch up. This place isn't your average nail salon. When you walk in you become a part of their family, and for the two years since I've been coming, they all know my name, what is going on and my life and truly care about how I am doing. It isn't a place where you sit quietly and awkwardly but rather they will talk to you and make conversation, and it is the best atmosphere ever. Wendy is the only person I trust to do my nails, and she has become such an important in my life. So glad I went on yelp and looked at the reviews first! Didn't have time to get my normal Pedi at home so I thought I would get one while in Rehoboth over the Labor Day weekend. I had initially had the idea of making my appointment at another nail salon a little closer to downtown Rehoboth but after reading the reviews I knew that was not going to work out for me. So I came across "Tammy's Nails", read the reviews and made an appointment. From the first phone call to my exit it was nothing but professionalism but with a touch of family that extends to there customers. Everyone interacts well, place is clean, pretty and very inviting. I had Anna and will definitely ask for her when I come back in two weeks. Yes I liked it so much that I would rather have my Pedi done at Tammy's Nail then my salon at home. And that's saying a lot!! Me and my girl friends have been going here for years and it's such a shame how horrible this salon has turned into. The husband is a pervert..( touches the other women In the salon while HIS WIFE IS RIGHT IN THE ROOM) very sad. Also, let's not forget the uncleanliness of the salon. I've watched 2 of the same girls use the same pumice stone back to back without cleaning while I was getting my pedicure. THAT IS NASTY! As a friend of jens, I can acquire that her statements about this place are very true. We use to come here all the time, but the salon has turned into a very sad place. Something is very off about these people who run it. I live down the road so it's a shame that this salon is not full of happier people. I will now be going in town to get my nails done rather than this crappy place. Please understand that when you make an appointment here you will not have a relaxing time. It is loud, noisy, and everyone is very talkative. That didn't bother me much until we witnessed the same pomace stone being used on 2 different customers one of the last time we were in. GROSS! Great Salon! I love how everyone is treated like you are family. The owners Tammy and Bonz are so personable and friendly as are the entire staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. If you are looking for a great pedicure see Ana she is the absolute best and a real joy to speak with, for the best in acrylic or gel nails see Amy, she takes her time a does an excellent job. This is a very pretty and clean place with a color scheme that included purple. This is a family owned business. Susan did an excellent job and was extremely friendly and helpful in deciding what colors to use for a manicure and pedicure. There were some barriers in between the chairs and staff were willing to wear masks. I was told that everyone was vaccinated there. I was glad to see that they tried to reduce Covid risks. This was the first time that I went to Tammys nails and will definitely be back. read more

I had a mani/pedi done here by Sonya and it was a great experience. I had not had my nails done in forever and I was pretty messy but Sonya did such a great job. She took her time and was thorough, gentle and very nice and easy to talk to, with some great suggestions that worked very well for me. The shop was clean and bright, the nail techs were all very friendly, even the other customers were friendly and happy. I highly recommend this nail salon. I made the appointment today and was taken on time, with a smile. Everyone was extremely professional, warm and kind. I got a gel polish and a pedicure. Cost of each was $25. Plus tip. Wendy started the old gel removal then I was passed on to Amber to finish the manicure. They were both very careful with my nails because my nails are so thin. Lee did the pedicure. I am vacationing in Rehoboth, and needed a manicure after the beach destroyed mine. Like many others have said, I went based on the yelp reviews, and was not disappointed. One of the best nail salons I went to with my wife. We came from Florida to visit family for a month and my wife wanted to bring me along for her spa day. It was absolutely awesome! Tammy did my wife's nails and she did a great job with all of the fancy designs my wife wanted. Lily did my pedicure and manicure and the massage and job was done perfectly. I would definetely recommend going here. We for sure am when we are back in town. read more

Tammy Nails is my go to choice for mani pedicures. The business is operated efficiently, Bonz is usually handling all the phone calls, needs of the staff and customers. I generally always make an appointment so I will not have to be "fit in" They never know who is going to need services and I have observed that they do their best to take care of walk-ins. I called and make appointments then read the review about the owner carrying a handgun so I called to ask if it was true. The gentleman who answered the phone said " miss why are you asking this question?" I responded "it is a yes or no question." He responded again "why are you asking." Is this place a joke? Me and my daughter went here and got gel manicures earlier this week and it's the worst job I've ever seen. There is gel seeping into my daughters nail beds. What a joke. Friend and I were walk in. Initially the answer was no for 2 pedi. Thankfully they relooked and they fit us in. The women were all so kind and sweet. A friend needed a nail glued due to breakage far back. Instead of super glue they used clear liquid gel. Above and beyond without asking. Greatly appreciated. 10/10 would recommend.
