Campfire Grill continues to be my favorite breakfast spot in Buffalo!…read more I walked in on Labor Day 2026 around 8:30am and the hostess said I could pick anywhere to sit as it wasn't very busy, so, I grabbed a stool at the bar so I could watch the magic in the kitchen. A waitress came over with a menu and took my drink order, an easy order - coffee. They gave me plenty of time to decide what I wanted. When I remember my last visit, the customer service was a little lacking but this time, everyone I interacted was incredibly pleasant and very nice! About 10-15 minutes later, my breakfast was brought over with a variety of syrups. For breakfast I went with an old favorite, "Hill" size (three) Cinnamon Roll Homemade Hot Cakes with whipped cream on top! They were nicely sized and made to perfection. I LOVE these pancakes so much that I scarf them down in what feels like two minutes, so I put A LOT of effort into pacing myself and enjoying, savoring them this time. I've been coming here for eight years now and I will say, the prices have gone up but it's not prohibitive and once in a while, you just have to treat yourself. Buffalo has several great breakfast spots and Campfire Grill is certainly one of them. I can not wait to come back for another plate of hot cakes or their crunchy French toast!

When you drive by, if this place doesn't immediately spark your curiosity I'd be surprised…read more.. listen, stop and go inside! I really like this diner. It's got a vibrant rustic-can, loud but comfy feel to it. The place looks cool inside and out, you just know this greasy spoon is going to have good food and it doesn't fail to provide it either! You can order anything and leave happy (from the apple pie to the pig, beef and chicken sandwich). They have booth seating, counter seating for one (or two) and offer outdoor seating with a little picnic table, shaded area and they also accept cash/credit. On the menu, there's pig, beef and chicken items, even a fish fry. They're great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with or without friends/family. Known for their BBQ, in a variety of flavors, it's simply finger-licking delicious! I like coming here for breakfast mostly, love me some good home fries and a juicy steak. Portions are large and filling. I've also ordered take-out and picked up my order, the staff is super friendly and there's such an upbeat vibe to the place.

Phenomenal food and prices!…read more I got a double bacon burger topped with onion rings, pulled chicken, and brisket that was HUGE! I had to hunch over to take a bit so I didn't get it all over me... great flavor and very delicious. It was a crazy order for me bec I usually keep it simple but this was calling my name. My server was great. She was super attentive and made sure my cup was never out of water. (I usually drink water when dining out) The place is def little so it gets packed quick. A couple booths and a couple tables. Maybe 10 total. Parking can be very tight in front so go to the back or side. I'll be back to try other things.

This is our second time at an OPH (two different locations) and we have yet to be disappointed…read more Our service was fabulous. She was attentive, friendly, and quick. The atmosphere was very diner like and we enjoyed the good warm coffee while we waited for our delicious meal! So to the food aspect: my partner got the Irish Omelette which had broccoli, corn beef hash, spinach, pepper jack cheese (his choice and we both agree it was a win). The omelette sounded overwhelming to me, but I am thankful my partner ordered it because it was good! He also ordered the English muffin. Which was also AMAZING! Now onto the western omelette, it was also wonderful. Eggs fluffy, a good amount of cheese (I picked cheddar). Everything was perfect. But the star of the show was my side of French toast. They bake the bread there for the French toast. It was cooked to perfection and the perfect amount of sweet. One slice was all I needed (...to break my diet ) but dang was it worth it.

On my last day of summer vacation, I treated my mom to breakfast. This is one of her favorite…read morebreakfast spots, so naturally, this is where we ended up! We arrived closer to lunchtime than breakfast, which worked in our favor since there wasn't a wait. We were seated right away, and our server, Angela P., promptly came over for our coffee order. Two coffees later, we were ready to order. My mom, as always, went with her beloved Mushroom Omelet (a bit steep at $15.20 in my opinion), while I ordered a half portion of the Two by Four, which included one egg and two pancakes. It ended up being the perfect amount of food for me. I wasn't thrilled about the $1.60 upcharge for chocolate chips, but the pancakes were fluffy, delicious, and worth the splurge. The restaurant appears to have been remodeled since my last visit and it has a much nicer look and feel than I remembered. My only real complaint is the noise level. Every time I've been here it's been incredibly loud, making conversation a bit difficult and hindering the overall breakfast experience, especially before coffee. Overall, I understand why so many people (including my mom) love this place. The service was friendly, the food was good, and we left satisfied. It's just not my personal favorite breakfast spot in Buffalo, especially considering the prices and noise level. Even so, if you're looking for a reliable breakfast with generous portions, I can see the appeal.
