I love this place! We finally dined in and had the sweetest server of all time. She was too kind. Nearby a couple of friends were celebrating with a pizza gender reveal. The dining area was smaller than I realized but plenty of room for couples or groups to gather. Love that they have vegetarian meat alternatives here. Their pesto za is one of my faves. Pizza is the best for many miles in every direction. Great bar with nice beer selection and there's even slots inside, so there's fun for everyone! Service is top-notch. ONE little point.....don't bread the chicken wings baby!!! Anyone who eats wings knows, breading ruins them. The chicken is the star, it doesn't need a sidekick. Breading just adds a layer of grease on the outside. Skip the flour, just sprinkle them with salt and drop those babies right into the fryer. Wing nuts like me will thank you. I've never ever been there before. Went with a friend for dinner. We ordered the double-decker pizza. I also have never had one of those. That was kind of fun. It was like pizza with pizza on top. It was something interesting to try a fun experience. Cute place. nice friendly people. You get peanuts to start that was kind of fun so if you have a peanut allergy I don't recommend going there. It was OK. We went here for pizza for our grandfather's birthday and we ordered like 8 pizzas all together. The BBQ and bacon pizza was the best tasting one for me and I thought the pizza was slightly undercooked. The crust had a nice crunch but the underbelly was still chewy and to me, I like it with a bit of crunch but maybe that's how you like it? The ambiance was cool and updated and nice. Slots were defiantly a bonus. My kids really enjoyed the pinball games and the claw game. The service was excellent and our waitress was really attentive and great. The pizza wasn't it for me. As a customer of over 25 years, through good pizza and bad we've stuck with them. Our kids grew up throwing peanut shells on the floor and both went on to work there during high school. As empty nesters we only order delivery now and have saved the yellow tickets for years. Went to place our order tonight, we were informed they no longer accept them for deliveries...the excuse Molly gave me was that people didn't give them to the drivers! It was a dark and stormy summer night. A friend and I were craving pizza and we thought of Tammy's. Neither one of us had been there before, but we will most certainly go back soon for one reason. Our servers name was Jennifer and she was absolutely delightful. Full of energy, she greeted us with a huge smile, and remained exceedingly bubbly, happy and friendly until the moment we walked out the door. One of the other servers stopped by our table to help her out one time, but unfortunately we didn't get her name. She was also exceptionally friendly. Because of Jennifer , we will be returning. Don't bother ordering takeout if your time is valuable. Ordered a pizza to go yesterday 7/30/21 and was told 35 minutes. Got there 10 minutes later than that, paid, and then was told it would another 20 minutes. Called sister as I was LEAVING TOWN and wanted to take it with me. Told cashier she would be back to pick it up and gave her name too. She arrives 30 minutes later to give them extra time as I did AND GUESS WHAT? Not only do they claim I was not there but she would have to wait another 50 minutes for a pizza. Clearly the cashier was not that dumb and I realize Covid can't be blamed for everything either. Come on Tammy, tell your staff to get times closer to reality as many of us want to support you and the workers you have. For now, the one star remains. Pizza is delicious and staff is nice. They have a good variety to offer on the menu. I actually never want to eat anyone's pizza other than theirs, but they're about an hour away from where I live...it stinks. Their mozzarella sticks are good, the garlic cheese bread it delicious and actually has a good amount of cheese on it. The thin crust pizza is thin and has an amazing crust- that is crispy but not burnt. I get just cheese and they put the perfect amount on the pizza and the sauce is good- not thick and chunky. All I can say is Wow. The Customer service was fantastic. The mood of the dining hall is just so comfy, and I have to say their Christmas decorations are so adorable and inviting . Even while being so busy, they still managed to give me my pizza in a timely manner! Bravo Tammy's, bravo. My waitress, Jeanie was top notch! She was amazing, she kept up the conversation and checked in on us frequently. When I came here for dinner I wasn't expecting much and think oh just another pizza place, but I was amazed. When the food came out it was so good and it had flavor, cooked to perfection. I want to share my last experience on October 22, 2022. I shall leave off names of the employees I interacted with. I had a wonderful server that was friendly and concerned about my disappointment. My son and I came in about 7:30 pm. We decided to order pizza, something a little different, sausage, spinach, pineapple, and garlic. Although we were the only customers ordering food, there were only a few teenagers sitting in the dining area, we waited over 30 minutes for our order. I do understand Tammy's does carry out, it was not busy in the dining room. There was a strange taste to the garlic. I asked the server if the garlic was fresh or canned. (the kind you can buy in a glass jar at Jewel). Our server said she would find out. I tasted the garlic by itself just to be sure of the unpleasant taste. Our server returned to tell me the garlic was not fresh garlic but was a processed garlic from a bag. For me it ruined the whole pizza. I asked our server if I could speak with the manager to let them know I felt the garlic was not very good. I know that constructive criticism can be helpful to any business. My server sent out a person that described herself as the kitchen manager and a relative of Tammy, the owner. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the garlic, and as a customer with restaurant management experience I said that the criticism was for their information to perhaps go back to the way they served garlic on pizza years ago, using fresh garlic. The manager did apologize and was sorry I did not like the canned garlic they used, BUT they serve garlic pizza all the time and I was the only person to EVER complain. I suggested the manager taste the garlic to see if maybe it was old. The manager refused and said the garlic was ordered from a vender that ships it in plastic bags, and there could be nothing wrong with the garlic and I have been the only complaint about it .... EVER! I said, " the garlic taste rancid and fresh garlic would be a much better option rather than canned. Years ago Tammy's used fresh garlic. How hard could it be to crush and dice a fresh clove of garlic for a fresh pizza? Well, my dissatisfaction was snubbed and was told this is what they use and my suggestion was not welcome. My son and I ate only 1/4 of the pizza. My son agreed the garlic tasted funny. He said " dad just let it go." The server came back very understanding and said just write a review because the owner, Tammy pays attention to reviews. As an experience restaurant manager my self, although many years ago, I know how to handle an unsatisfied customer. I hope this review get's back to this particular manager, and she will learn that the customer isn't always right, but has to win, and be listened too. The proper management response is not to tell the customer " you are the only one EVER to complain about the garlic" but to offer a credit or a coupon for a nominal discount on the next visit. I paid for the pizza and left laughing about the scene I caused. Sorry Tammy, I could not let this go. I will never order canned garlic on a fresh pizza. You may never change back to fresh garlic, but your relative manager should learn to be humble and make sure you don't lose a customer over an ignored complaint. I have been coming into your place for over 20 years and I was told you have been using canned garlic for at least the 10 years your "relative manager" has been working for you. Isn't it worth a $5 gift card or an offer to come back again with a discount card than piss off a customer? I may be the only one to ever complain about the taste of your garlic, or the freshness of what you are using, but I felt compelled to let you know. I brought in a party of 8. We reserved a table in advance, anticipating that it would be busy due to them having live music. Unfortunately the owners/management did not plan as well as I did ... Servers were significantly overwhelmed. Two of our meals were cold, two meals were lukewarm, one was incorrect, and this after waiting for over an hour for food. Drinks were so slow to be served that we cancelled out last round and asked for our checks. My check was missing an item. I'm an honest person so I let the server know. I somewhat expected her to say don't worry about it, but i waited for her to bring a corrected bill. Unfortunately, it had to be corrected again.
