We have been coming to this restaurant for many years and have good memories here, including an anniversary and birthdays. So hard to say this, but this our 2nd visit in a few months and the quality has gone way down. We will not be returning. The main description that goes through all the food and drinks is watery. Got 2 margaritas and a beer, I would say there was little to NO tequila in the margaritas, just sweetly gross. The chips were stale and again very watery salsa, the fajitas were 70% onions in the $45 EXPENSIVE fajitas and watery beans. Other items ordered as we were a party of 4 were enchiladas, with a table spoon of meat in them and a chalupa that was fine (just okay). The entire bill was $170 for watery bad cheap food. We do not go out as much and this was supposed to be a treat. So disappointed. read more

Updating my review after going in-person. The last time the pork was a bit dry, but this time around I went for mainly chicken and that was fantastic. The food this time around was all top notch and the chips definitely seem to be made in-house. They were so nice and thin and crunchy with a delicious salsa alongside it. All the food was great, but the highlight was how quick and friendly the service was. Our waitress seemed to be the only one around and was on top of everything. Let's start with the good. I came in at lunch and it looked kind of busy. Only one waitress seemed to be on staff. She was great! And she was doing a good job handling all of her customers, so huge kudos to her! And the food came extremely quickly. I ordered the taco salad with picadillo and it tasted good. Now comes the not-so-great part. It was 3/4 shredded lettuce with some meat and a tiny amount of tomato and even less cheese on top. I left the vast majority of lettuce and the fried taco bowl. I was in and out in only about 15 minutes! BEWARE: This restaurant was VERY expensive! CONSTRUCTIVE SUGGESTIONS TO THE RESTAURANT: *Lower your prices a bit *Font on your menu is tiny, it was very difficult to read. Otherwise menu was nice visually. *For your prices, your chips and salsa portion was very small. *Get rid of the fried shells for taco salad, those went out in the 1990's, and "make" the salads. We went in for lunch and luckily it wasn't too busy. The staff greeted us within minutes and were very friendly. They were patient with us as we took a while to decide. We decided to order from the lunch menu. I was shocked at the prices for brunch, appetizers and dinner, so we ordered from the seafood menu. To my surprise the seafood menu was reasonably priced so we went with that. My kiddo loves shrimp! The food was delivered within 15 minutes of ordering. It's been a really long time since I'd been here but decided to give it a shot again. My date really enjoys Mexican food and I remember this place being pretty good! It looks about the same as it ever did. Perhaps a little more empty; one entire section was closed up, but I assume that's 'cause we got there a bit late post-dinner rush. The staff was pretty friendly. We shared a 2-person fajitas, it was ample food for both of us. I had a couple of glasses of wine, which was fine for the house pour. There was plenty left over to take home, so the portions were generous enough, including the setup plates. I really would've preferred a bit more flavor though, it wasn't bad, just sort of middle of the road I suppose. It's probably due for a bit of a deep cleaning. I didn't really want to rest anything I was going to handle or actually eat on the table. It just has that "dated" feel about it. Not really bad but a little refresh could ean another star in my book. I'd still recommend going; it's nice to have non-chain Mexican options scattered around the area. read more

The last few times I have noticed they changed their takeout containers to much cheaper crappy quality, and they are filling up the containers less with food. I really don't care if they use cheaper containers, however, these containers cause the cheese on food to stick to the paper thin tops the containers now have. It really takes away from the quality of the food to go, and the quantity has definitely been reduced. This place was great. I was hoping for a wonderful experience, but was very disappointed. Arrived more than 5 minutes before lunch menu was over and our waistress made it sound like we couldn't order from the lunch menu. My husband ordered a shredded beef burrito plate and me the cheese enchilada and shredded beef taco. The salsa and slaw was really good while we waited. When the waitress brought over our food, my taco was shredded beef and chicken. Normally I wouldn't mind but morning sickness has steered me away from chicken. My husband's shredded beef was also shredded beef and chicken. I advised the waitress who argued with me about the white meat in my taco saying it was beef - wow! White beef? She then took my plate and talked to the chef in back for awhile. She brought me out my taco which was now beef with a little less chicken and she brought a sample of chicken to show me what chicken looks like. (Btw there was still chicken in the taco) Due to the fact that she brought my same plate back, my enchilada was now a cheese enchilada with hard cheese in it. *sigh* I decide to chalk it up as a waste of $25 and left no tip. I would not return Experience/Service: We came at lunch hour and there was nobody there. We were immediately seated but it took them probably 10 minutes to get us waters and chips and salsa which seemed odd. They also only came to refill waters once and never checked in on how our food was. Prices: Pricing is okay, comparable to some other places in the area. Some menu items like fajitas were a couple dollars more expensive though. Food: First we tried the chips and salsa. The chips were typical but good but the pico de gallo was very bland and was not balanced at all (tons of onion). The chicken fajitas were not bad but not great. Fajitas a 3/5 and 2/5 for the price. The chicken was grilled and just put on top of the veggies not mixed in. The veggies only contained green peppers and onion as well.
