We ate here on July 27, 2019 around 6pm. When you first walk in the doors the smell of curry immediately hits your nose. I enjoy curry and the smell of curry so it just made me hungry! It was set up in a buffet style. Everything we tried was fantastic. It was our first time trying Indian food so I am not sure of all the names of the dishes we tried, but between the 3 of us we tried everything and it was all excellent! The only real negatives were the lack of naan bread and the dining area being dimly lit. I waited and waited for more naan bread to come out and it never did. We were there almost an hour, so I was a little disappointed to not get any. And this is a buffet not fine dining so I didn't understand why it was dimly lit in the dining area. Overall, we would eat here again. The food was excellent and the wait staff did an excellent job. Our waitress worked really hard and efficiently. She double checked that I had found enough to eat since I'm a vegetarian. She also indicated which dishes would be a good choice for me. I really appreciated her helpfulness! read more

I tried coming here in the past but it was closed (which honestly was kind of annoying), but I finally made it back to try again and thankfully it was open this time! So the first thing I feel like is important to say is that this is a buffet. It wasn't listed as a buffet so I wasn't expecting that, but now I know and for anyone reading this now YOU know if you didn't already. You can also order from the menu too. I chose to go for the buffet so I could try lots of different things, especially with it being my first time there. There were two smallish to medium sized long tables for the buffet. One had the items labeled and the other table didn't. I decided to start with some of the stuff from the unlabeled table. There was a soup that I liked but since it didn't have a sign I don't know what it was, but it was one of the things in the silver pot at one of the ends of the table. On that table I also liked these savory scone things and some sort of chick pea dish. On the table with labeled stuff I also liked all of the chick pea based things! Unfortunately I still don't really remember the names of most of what all I tried even though there were signs (sorry!) but I'll try to describe what the other thing I liked looked like. The other thing on that table I really liked were these things that looked like donut holes (but they WEREN'T the things labeled as donuts, just to be clear). They tasted like balls of bread in lots of maple syrup. Made for a nice sweet treat! I also tried the naan bread, rice, and chicken tikka masala from the labeled table. All were good, pretty standard, but I did have to dig around quite a bit to find any chicken that hadn't already been snagged by everyone else! I wish the tikka masala had been a bit spicier (for myself at least) but I guess when it comes from a buffet it has to be pretty neutral. Something I found very interesting was that my mom ordered the chicken tikka masala from the menu and it did taste slightly different from the one I got using the buffet. For one, the chicken was MUCH more tender from the menu. There was also an extra herb sprinkled on top, and the menu version overall had a bit more flavor and was a lot warmer. Even though they ordered it from the menu, she still didn't get to pick her spice level so that was pretty much the same for both. All in all I'd probably recommend getting the buffet for your first go, taking note of what you liked, and maybe ordering it from the menu next time for possibly a slightly better version of it. Also, I believe there's stuff on the menu that's not on the buffet so there's lots of options for you to keep coming back! read more

An old friend who used to enjoy Indian food together with me frequently asked me if I knew of any good Indian places in BA. I noticed on Yelp that Tandoori Guys had been in BA for five years and was highly rated in the reviews. My friend had heard of it and thought we should give it a try. We arrived right after they had closed the buffet. But we ordered from the menu and shared the Tandoori sampler platter. It was more than enough to feed two with plenty of leftovers. The chips, crisps and sauce to start the meal weren't a big hit with either of us but the entree and garlic bread more than compensated for the weak start. It was so dark inside I had to use my flashlight to order, but I liked the interior. We had a really attentive server who was very helpful as we considered what to order. I will do an update once I try the buffet. Overall, if you like Indian food, you will likely love this place. read more

My husband and I were very happy when our friends suggested Indian food. There really isn't that many choices in the Tulsa area. We went on a Saturday evening for the $12.95 buffet. The selection was decent. The usual butter chicken, samosa, mutton curry and briyani were good. They served us fresh papadum when we asked if they had any. They also said they could make paratha for us if we let them know in advance. The dishes were flavorful and quite spicy if you are not used to it. Quite a few dishes were vegetarian. I really like the Aloo Matar (Potato and Pea Curry) and Saag Paneer (Spinach and Tofu). I'm not very familiar with the Indian desserts. Are they meant to be so sweet? read more

Prior to this experience I had never had authentic Indian cuisine. I have always wanted to try it, but there really aren't many options in the Tulsa/BA area, at least not that I had heard of. We happened to drive by this place, so we looked up the reviews on Yelp and elsewhere and folks seemed to love it, so we were ready for our new culinary adventure! We were promptly greeted in a friendly fashion as we entered. After being seated, it was off to the buffet. I got a little bit of most everything to try, and I finished every bit of it! There was nothing I tried that I didn't enjoy. The coconut rice and chicken Marsala were two of my favorites. There was also an okra and chick pea dish that had amazing flavor! The naan bread was warm and fluffy as well. They had an action station, and we weren't sure how to go about that, so we let them know it was our first visit. They suggested we have a seat, and they would bring us a plate of what they suggested for that station. So the food and service was pretty great here! Nothing was "too spicy", I know some folks worry about that. However, the chili potatoes were super spicy! Just a warning. If you like heat, you will love them and the rice or creamy sauce from the action station worked to temper the heat. Can't wait to come back and try some more! The most authentic Indian food we have found in Tulsa. I highly recommend the Tandoori platter which has several types of meat-- shareable!! I could make this a painfully long review and use cool jargon and make up stuff to tell you how much I fell in love with place after eating here once but I'll save you time by telling you these three things. 1.) its buffet only - no menu service. just one option and it's the buffet!!! Makes it easy 2.) The buffet doesn't have the largest selection ever but what it has will have you singing all the way back to your table. Quality over quantity reigns here!! 3.) IT HAS FLAVORS!!!!! Every dish I had was full of what I would consider traditional Indian food that hasn't been Anericanized!!! It was spicy, offered heat and not one bite did I think was 'watered down'!!! Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Scottsdale-Phoenix-Mesa, different spots in New York State (Rochester, Schenenechady (mispelled), Buffalo,Portsmouth New Hampshire, Denver...... you get the point. This is the truest Indian food snapshot you'll ever find, in Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas (I've been in spots there too) here in Broken Arrow or wherever the wind blew me. Best Indian buffet most of you will ever eat. It's a zoo for your mouth. To be continued, but don't forget to taste the Lime Pickle at the cold end of the buffet and the Rasam located at the soup area. Just those two items alone, you're all set. There are a minimum of 20 dishes on this buffet and it's served all day....none of this lunch only buffet business. Enjoy my review. I hope this assists in your quest for culinary joy. I was blown away by both the quality of the food, and the customer service straight from the owners. Coming from Wichita, this was our first time here, and I could definitely say we would be back. The biryani was amazing and had that authentic taste. The owners were so down to earth. They took the time to converse with us and make sure everything was good to go. It took my boyfriend a lot of convincing to get me here because I've never trusted buffets, but, man, am I glad we came! The place is so clean and the vibe is great. The food just looks trustworthy, you know? Nothing out of place, not heated properly, or gross-looking. The chai tea was very bitter, but I think it's more traditional. Today, my family and I went to try Tandoori Guys Indian cuisine. We really enjoyed our meal there. The atmosphere was authentic with Punjabi dance music playing in the background. The different rices were delicious, and the curry meatballs were my favorite thing in the buffet. For dessert, we tried the pink yogurt, the orange yogurt, and the soaked doughnut holes. Worst Indian food in Oklahoma. I have never written a review before but this curry was just so disgusting that I hope to save someone from wasting their money by eating here. The Paneer was hard and the Saag flavorless, but the worst part was the the fish curry. It consists of hard lumps of cheap Tilapia floating in thick oil that coats your tongue. It was inedible and incredibly spicy even though I ordered it mild because my daughter loves curry. The naan is thin and old. The biggest rip off is the samosas. Five tiny little things with one cube of potato inside for $5. I'm talking the size of a quarter. Wow. My total came to over $40 and we had to throw it away. I'll stick to India Palace because the quality is superior and priced exactly the same as this slop. Save your money and go there. read more

First time here today. Food was amazing. Hot and fresh. Very friendly and inviting. Every one is so nice. Tried a little bit of everything. I have been going to another Indian food place for years. Friends had recommended Tandoori Guys touting it as the best Indian food ever so I had to try it. It is easy to travel to and to park. The restaurant was clean. The wall behind the buffet was quite creative. The food was wonderful. It was all fresh tasting. There was a good variety. I judge an Indian restaurant on their mint sauce and this one was delicious. There was no papadum on the buffet. The tandoori chicken was dark meat and the few onions in the pan were shriveled up and dried out. However the chicken had a good taste. We will be checking this place out again and for $10 per person for dinner-it is worth the drive. read more

Delicious food and not too hot! Our friend kept wanting us to go there, but we've tasted a lot of Indian food that we just can't eat because it's too hot! I called ahead and they said it was medium. We were actually able to eat everything except one dish and our friend said to push the sauce off and eat it with the cucumber sauce. That worked and it wasn't so hot. Plus, they have some delicious nan bread, spring rolls, and Asian infused rice. There were several meat, and then vegetable dishes, various Rice, dishes, lentils, and soup. Plus a very fresh salad with carrots and I think a homemade ranch dressing that was delicious. Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful. Some nice decor, and an intriguing video of the beautiful scenery of India, and It's beautiful people wearing gorgeous clothes, dancing, and enjoying life! I don't live in broken arrow but was passing through. Scrolling through yelp and came across the tandoori guys with vegan options so figured I would give it a try. As a chef myself and an avid foodie I was very pleased with this place. It's rare that I'm completely happy with food that I eat out which is why I rarely do anymore but traveling and hungry I stopped in. I chose a bowl of Rasam and vegetable biryani. The Rasam is very aromatic and is truly comfort food. The spice level was perfect and it was not too salty. It was a small meal in its own, would have loved if it came with steamed rice but would definitely order it again. The vegetable biryani portion was very generous. The flavor profile is nice as well although a bit of heat for a mild level. Would have loved to see the chunks of vegetables chopped into smaller pieces but overall a well executed dish. I would definitely return and try more vegan options here! The service although busy was decent. I took my food to go but wouldn't mind coming in for a meal either. My only complaint really is the menu options for vegans are not outlined very well. There are only a few items marked vegan on the menu but talking with staff it seems some adjustments can be made to most of the options to make them vegan?!? This was the part that was a bit unclear to me. I never want to guess on what is and isn't vegan when eating out. read more
