Fantastic spot for India style pizza! My friends and I stopped by the Tandoori Pizza in Mountain House after picking fruit nearby in Brentwood. We came Saturday around 12:30 and it wasn't crowded at all. We were the only group dining in, though some folks came to pick up their order. There's plenty of seating inside with both tables and booths. We wanted to try two different pizzas, but they can only do half/half on large pizzas or larger. We ended up sharing a large thin crust pizza with half tandoori chicken and half masala pesto paneer for $30.75. The pizza came out soon and I was shocked to see how loaded they were. There's not even any crust; they fill the pizza to the edges with the toppings. As someone who doesn't eat crust, this is my kind of pizza! I wish more places made pizza like this. Both the tandoori chicken and the paneer sides were good, but my favorite was definitely the tandoor chicken as I found it more flavorful. However, both of my friends liked the paneer side more; they said the paneer tasted very soft and fresh. We got a call from the restaurant saying the lamb kebabs were not available. We asked for their top seller item which was chicken tikka pizza. The restaurant was easy to find. Quite a lot of guests for a Thursday evening, they were all waiting for their pick up orders. The pizza flavors were excellent. Toppings were plenty, the chicken tikka was delicious and melt in your mouth tender. The crust was crispy. Achari chicken wings were also fresh and delicious. Today, on Halloween, I placed a phone order at Mountain House location for one Desi Stick with Cheese and one Shahi Paneer Pizza. I was told the order would be ready in 45 minutes, which I followed. When I arrived, the restaurant was crowded, and I waited another 15-20 minutes in line. There were two staff members at the counter, one wearing a turban and another with a bracelet on his right hand, bit dusky complexion and bit curly hair who appeared to have a slight limp. I would like to share feedback about the second staff member (the one with the bracelet). When I mentioned my order, he simply entered the amount on the register without any explanation. I asked about the order status, and he said it would take another 25 minutes. I explained that I had ordered over an hour ago and had already been waiting, to which he replied, "It's crowded." When I mentioned that it had already been more than an hour, he responded rudely, "To kya hua?" ("So what?"). I again said I have just arrived when you asked to come and already waited 20 minutes, to which again he replied "to ky hua". I found his attitude confrontational, disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing or explaining the delay, his tone made me feel frustrated and embarrassed. TP mountain house is much grander than their other locations. We stopped by while on our trip and the pizza is well made. The low ratings as the flavors we picked weren't that great - got an half and half. The spicy grade delight disappointed us the most, and the malai chicken didn't come to close to their curry or tandoori chicken versions. read more

Their pizzas are all incredible but we especially love the Tandoori and Butter Chicken. They always pack the toppings. A couple of the XL slices will make you full unless you're a growing teenager. Even so, they can't eat more than a third as they're so packed with toppings. Love a good business that is fairly priced and doesn't skimp. We highly recommend them. I love they have a cauliflower crust option and it's delicious. I hate that you can't get the cauliflower crust on a small pizza. We just ordered 1 pizza and promised time was 8:04pm, but we had to wait until 8:30pm to pickup. It took them 1.5hrs! We asked the lady at cashier why there was a delay, she threw attitude and said they didn't promise the time, then slammed the door and walked away. Looking thru the door to the kitchen, I could see she was laughing and giggling with other co-workers in the kitchen! 2 men came out said they were busy and nothing they could do! They pushed us out like we were some kind of disease! We paid money, we didn't beg for food. They shouldn't be in business if they couldn't talk and acted like human. That was full of BS!!!!! We had their creamy garlic chicken pasta it was RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS!!! And their pesto pasta was like a full on restaurant quality ! The service at this location was appauling...I was beyond excited to have a Tandoori pizza in Mountain House but will not be returning to this location (which is a huge bummer!) I went to pick up my order at my pickup time of 5:20. When I arrived, I made eye contact with multiple employees and not a single person acknowledged me. The employee at the register received a phone and told me to wait. She was arguing with a customer on the phone, then when she hung up, she ignored me again and slammed open the door to the kitchen and started ranting pasisonately to her coworkers about the phone call she just got off of. I waited another 5 minutes to talk to an employee. At this point, I still hadn't even been able to ask what the status of my order was. I tried to ring the bell on the counter, which was broken, but it caught someone's attention. I was FINALLY told my order would take another five minutes. I left with my food at 5:50. Just wanted to share my experience with the service here. The food was yummy as Tandoori always is, but I will not be returning to the Mountain House location. We ordered tandoori pizza for the first time tonight and we were floored. What a wonderful fresh, tasty and dangerously cheesy pizza! As I said the dough was fresh and we we're big fans of the crust. The toppings were generous and went all the way up to the crust and beyond. We are fans of pepperoni and pineapple and they don't just put wet pineapple on the pizza. The pineapple ended up a little chard with the rest of the toppings and it was phenomenal. Almost caramelized. We were hesitant due to the unknown factor but now I am so glad we tried them. We had the All Meat Combination Pizza (Ham, Salami, Pepperoni, Beef & Italian Sausage) at Tandoori Pizza. The pizza was very good and the crust was nice and crispy. They have other crust options as well. Condiments including Parmesan Cheese and Red Chili Flakes are available. Their pizza reminds me a lot of Round Table Pizza. Their menu consists of traditional and fusion pizzas. I've had the fusion pizzas at their Dublin location and they are excellent as well!!! If you like spice, a few of them have a really good kick to them! For large and extra large orders you can do half and half. Eager to try their fusion sides. There is a large assortment of drinks available. The restaurant was super clean and service was good with two large seating areas and a row of tables and booths parallel to the ordering counter. Dine In Orders are served on pizza pan risers. There is an outdoor patio as well. Seems like a good place for to get together with family for a pizza night out, birthday party, and little league after party. Staff is good and eager to serve up a good pizza! It's great fusion pizza but very spicy. Only pizza I can eat is malai paneer pizza. This was at Tracy and Mountain house location.

Pretty damn good for being in our neighborhood! Very pleasantly surprised to see the inside is spacious and clean. Multiple large TVs lining each wall, many big tables to sit in and eat. The pizza (we got a bbq chicken combination) was fresh, generous in toppings, and NOT DOUGHY! Very tasty and crispy crust. We also got the chicken wings, very fresh. The pizza came with chili toppings and cheese (without charging or having to be told) they also give a whole bottle of ranch without charging because we ate inside. The staff was nice and brought you the food to the table. Over all, will definitely return. And they open late night! Very very good, happy to see this in addition to MH!
