This place has gone downhill. Thus was our go to for pizza for a very long time. Today my husband and I stopped in for the lunch buffet. We walk in and a man comes out from the kitchen. We give him our order and he rings it up, then gets the plates for pizza and salad and puts them down hard on the counter and proceeds to do the same with the cups. We go to get the salad and find the lettuce was slim pickings, the raisins appeared old. I love Mountain Mike's Pizza but today's pizza left me unimpressed. read more

The food here was surprisingly good. Not to be prejudiced, but I've had pizza from all over the country, including Chicago and NYC. This isn't the best I've ever had, but it was definitely up there. Top 3 best places I've had in California for sure. The chicken I had tasted good as well; wasn't dry, the sauce was good and complimented it, instead of overpowering it like most places. The pepperoni was nice and crispy too but soft on the inside; personal preference, but it was good. I am thoroughly impressed by this place. Tracy is lucky to have a pizza place like this. read more

The guy at the counter was hassling him about showing an ID which he did but it didn't seem good enough because the guy was mumbling remarks still. The buffet is back and it's a good deal. Starting at 11am M-F. We got there right when they opened and started the buffet. Salad bar was ready with several options to top your greens with, and 4 dressings to choose from. The first pizza to come out was a half combo & half pepperoni. I hate to leave negative reviews but I just got their large size heart pizza and when I opened the box, it was flying around all over the box and having worked at mountain Mike's previously, I could immediately tell that it was medium size pizza. I'd give this place negative stars if at all possible. The food was good but the atmosphere in the restaurant felt like we really weren't welcomed. From the moment we approached the counter to order, no one smiled or welcomed us. He simply told us over and over that drinks are 1 cup per person and that we couldn't share drinks. No pitchers were available apparently either. My family and I met up with more family after a movie at the mall thinking it'd be a nice Sunday afternoon of pizza and conversation but the restaurant was extremely unwelcoming. It was stuffy and hot inside even though it was cool outside. The owner kept eyeing us like we were stealing something. It's too bad because Mt Mikes has good pizza. Ordered a small sizzling classic and received the pizza in a reasonable time but I can tell you that the pizza is disgusting. The toppings tasted old and the sauce was very light and no flavor. The dough also tasted very old not fresh. Seems the days of quality food at pizza places like Round Table and Mountain Mikes are far gone. The problem is these companies have franchised their brand and the owners do not follow the quality guidelines as it was years ago. Anna is the BEST. Great at customer service and she ALWAYS HAS THE SALAD BAR CLEAN! THIS IS THE BEST SALAD BAR IN TRACY HANDS DOWN! I just wish they had hardboiled eggs though. Other than that, this is the only reason I come here....the salad bar is top notch excellent. Very nice people, the pizza is good but most importantly the customer service is amazingly friendly. She told me that she will apply the coupon. My husband picked up the pizza and was charge the full amount. I called Mountain Mike's and explained to the manager what happened. The manager was so good rude and don't have any customer service skills and did not want to give me credit. The coupon is only $3 but it is the principle for me. I brought it to the manager's attention, and he argued with me and said it was a large, and he's been there for 20 years so he knows best. However, I am writing this review because of a specific sales person that took my call at the other location on Grant line. I mistakenly dialed the wrong location. She was extremely nice and offered everything available with no pressure on me to decide. I almost decided to just go over there to buy my pizza even though it is out of my way. She goes by Ana but her name is Yogona ( I think I spelled it wrong). The manager should be happy to have such a wonderful employee, nice, respectful and persuasive. My mom ordered a pizza at 7:16pm. I called the restaurant at 8:36, bcus the pizzas hadn't arrived yet. The young lady who answered the phone apologized for the delayed. She told me that they were busy and had 2 drivers out delivering pizza. I told if the pizza wasn't delivered in the next 10 mins I would like a refund. The pizza delivery called my mom at 8:59pm to say he was outside. Our pizzas were not hot, but slightly warm. I called the restaurant to speak with the manager. I've been ordering from this location for the past 3 years. Haven't really had too much of a problem from them until now. I placed a order for a small half specialty pizza and pepperoni. I was really starving and it was about 815pm when I placed the order. By the time the order arrived it was about 9pm. Instead of curving right there at the door like I normally do, I didn't and let the delivery driver leave and tipped him. When I opened up the pizza it was incorrect, so I politely called them back and informed them they made my pizza incorrectly.
