    a variety of frozen yogurts

Last time I brought my daughter here, it was with her classmates, in a field trip about 7 years ago... I was impressed by their patience with so many kids and how delicious their fro yo is! This time, I noticed they have an artist that has her paintings on the walls. Livia Kerr's paintings are absolutely gorgeous. Be sure to check them out, she has the most gorgeous horse paintings I have ever seen... I brought my daughter here for her craving of frozen yogurt and she always gets chocolate. This time, she changed it up and got... triple chocolate frozen yogurt with brownie, Boba, and strawberry toppings... as well as chocolate chips. Can't forget those! The total was only 5 & change(I feel like I'm paying 7 & up at other places) and we were off to the car in no time. I can't wait to come back here again bc service was just as good as the last time I was here!

Dropped on in on a hot day, definitely a treat. I highly recommend the cheesecake bits mixed in

Pretty delicious fro yo with a nice selection of toppings. We split the cherry amaretto and it was delicious!! The kids had chocolate and vanilla pilled high with gummy bears, cookies, sour worms... We had some live entertainment just outside on Friday night and it was a great night. Took the in-laws from out of town and they loved it too.

Been trying to get to this place for a while and finally had the chance today. The service, the…read morevibe, the food, everything was just right. Maybe on the pricey side but I think it was very fair for the quality they serve. On a Sunday afternoon it was a constant stream of customers, but they have some indoor seating and plenty of covered outdoor seating with misters. Ketchup and water dispenser available along with packaged condiments like more ketchup, mustard, mayo, and even malt vinegar. Names are called on the speaker and they have several windows to pick up at. Orders are placed inside or outside at the window. It's pretty neat and makes for a perfect blend of updated/nice with great old school charm. I ordered the Guido (pastrami burger), halfsies (family size of fries and onion rings, opted for waffle fries), and a vanilla twisty with heath bar. The Guido is excellent, but you have to know what you're in for. With the pastrami and the deli mustard, it tastes overwhelmingly like a pastrami sandwich and less like a burger. But the patty, cheese, and veggies do add something to it. It's also very messy, but it was delicious. The onion rings were excellent. They have that smooth batter style, sorta kinda like tempura. My wife prefers the panko style so she was more into the fries. For the fries, they were good but I'd probably opt for normal fries next time instead of waffle fries. I was expecting something somewhat similar to chick fil a, but these were a little on the thicker side and almost had the texture of potato wedges. I'm also not a big fry seasoning guy, and these were well seasoned. But that's a me thing. We still ate them all and you know when I come back I'm not leaving here without fries. The twisty was really good. I might be the only one, but I'm such a sucker for heath bar when I saw it on the menu I had to order it. The ice cream was really good quality. Had a great texture and taste. They were generous with the heath bar. I'm aware I took down a disgusting amount of food, but I think if I could change one thing I'd get the larger size of the twisty next time. It was really good. Wish they had a location closer than 30 mins up the hill, but that won't stop me. Note that my wife asked about the black bean patty and it has cheese in it so it is vegetarian but not dairy free or vegan. So if you go that way, there's that. Not much for you besides fries and dole whip.

A Great Burger, a Little Nostalgia, and a 20-Minute Test of Patience…read more I've been bringing my family to this location for years--back when it was a Foster Freeze. This place has some history for me. Many a Friday night, when I was the Defensive Coordinator for Lincoln High School, I'd find myself here. And on those hot summer days, my wife and I would stop in with our son Jonathan before heading off to watch Lincoln play Nevada City. So, yes... I have a little emotional investment in this place. Fast-forward to today, and I'm happy to report that the burgers are still worth talking about. The buns were soft, the meat was flavorful, and the whole burger experience hit the spot. And, of course, my family gave the milkshakes their official seal of approval--which, in my household, is basically a Michelin star. The menu has plenty of good options, there's outdoor seating, and the staff is genuinely working hard. They're multitasking like their lives depend on it, so every once in a while you may need to repeat your order. But honestly, I'd rather see people working hard and trying to take care of everyone than standing around looking bored. Parking can be a bit challenging, too. Consider it part of the dining experience--your appetizer is finding a parking space. So why only four stars? The wait. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. It wasn't terrible, but when you're hungry enough to start considering whether ketchup packets are technically a meal, 20 minutes feels like a lifetime. That said, the food was really good, the staff was friendly, and there's a genuine sense that people are working hard to make this place successful. Bottom line: Great burgers, excellent milkshakes, a solid menu, friendly people, and a little nostalgia thrown in for free. I'd absolutely recommend giving this place a try. Just remember: bring your appetite, a little patience, and maybe say your order twice. Four stars--and I'll definitely be back.

Went with the wagyu smash burger this time.. was greasy as ever and the bottom part of my bun was soaked and soggy/falling apart by the time I was eating it.. honestly kind of trash.. still tasted okay but not much flavor.. sweet potato fries were okay. a big enough portion to share with someone else. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 2 or 3 is directly because of one item and one item only... the mango schmear... some of the best damn schmear I've ever had. I always come for the schmear and leave with a burger that disappoints me.. the smear always wins me over though.. The day before the race, I arrived in Auburn (my first time ever) to pick up my race bib and to look around to take in the local culture. I was also hungry after flying into Sacramento and driving another 45 minutes to Auburn. I'm vegan, so I searched for local places that offer vegan options. Nectar Cafe was at the top of the search results. As luck would have it, Nectar Cafe was just a short walk from where I parked my car, and just a short walk from the Start/Finish line of the race. Man... I am so glad this restaurant exists. The food and the service were great. I had the Southwestern Wrap and a brownie. I was so happy with this place that I knew I had to go back the following day after my race. And that's exactly what I did. The following day I had a BBQ Burger with their own house made patty. And this time I had even more dessert. All the desserts are vegan, and they are awesome! I tried all of them. The chocolate chip cookie, the brownie, and the chocolate mousse were delicious. I highly recommend Nectar Cafe. Really. I highly recommend them. I look forward to eating at Nectar Cafe the next time I'm in town.

There were plenty of goodies to choose from like pastries, croissants, artisanal breads, cake slices, brioche bread with fruit, cinnamon rolls and several other products for sale. Their cake of the week was a mocha cake! It has layers of chocolate cake with an Expresso milk soak, frosted with expresso buttercream frosting with a chocolate ganache drip, topped with cocoa nuts... WOW!!! The artisanal breads are located on the side of the shop when you walk up towards the case. They have many flavors like roasted sourdough, pumpkin seed, kalamata olive, rosemary & lemon, and more! All breads are preservative free and made with organic flour. I decided to try the flourless brownie along with a ham and cheese croissant. I wanted something sweet and something savory. The flourless brownie was definitely my favorite of the two. It was rich, chocolatey, and had that creamy texture that you want from a good flourless brownie. It was a good size, too! The ham and cheese croissant itself was good and had a nice flaky texture, but I really wish there had been more ham and cheese inside. It felt a little light on the filling, especially compared to the size of the croissant. I absolutely enjoyed the flavor and flakey texture. It was a perfect crossiant, minus the ham and cheese part. The inside is cute but be prepared to get cozy with only a small amount of space to sit. Thankfully, they also have some outdoor seating if you want to hang out and enjoy your pastry there. I didn't get a picture of indoor or outdoor seating because they were a good amount of people enjoying their dining experience. I guess they know where the goodies are! Here! Overall, I liked discovering this little spot. Between the pastries, croissants, artisanal breads, and other goodies for sale, there was plenty to look at and definitely a few things I want to come back and try... and I'd for sure grab another one of those flourless brownies!
