Today we stopped in for lunch and we grubbed! Order taken at the counter by a cool dude. I think Brian? Beard and glasses. He was helpful and very kind. Tried the pastrami this time because I always go with a burger. Asked for extra pickles and got no pickles. I let the counter know and they quickly retrieved a boat of pickles for me. Onion rings are still yummy as ever. Bacon burger my hubby had was delicious. Peaches are in season so they are offering shakes and parfait. The shake was ok, not very peachy tasting and the skin remnants were off putting. Skin the peaches before blending. Just a suggestion. Can't wait for next visit.

Best burger in town. Service was fast even though there was a line. Parking accessible and spacious. Pretty cool vibe and nice employees. If you're visiting, I'd recommend this place for sure.

Upon arriving on a Saturday evening, this place was busy, and the vibes seemed great. I love that there's the option of indoor and outdoor seating. You can also order outside or inside. It took about 15 mins for my order but worth it for fresh food. For the sauces, they offered a variety including spicy thousand island, ranch, and etc. The burgers and onions rings were high quality and delicious. I was wondering if the burgers came with sides since they are in the pricier side, but it doesn't. But after eating my meal, I was pretty satisfied and everything tasted great, that the prices were justified. From photos, the burgers seemed small, but was happy to find out the burgers were a good size. I ordered the New Fashion and added cheese to it, plus family size onion rings. The burger was very filling and tasted really fresh and flavorful without being overpowering. But I do wish there was more lettuce than just one piece. The onion rings were made perfectly and wasn't overly greasy. After my meal, I went back to order a small ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. I love how they include this cute little plastic anti-drip cone holder! Overall, the entire experience was good and everything was delicious. I'd come back! (Random note; I've never seen a banana shaped wet floor sign before but that made me giggle hehe)

First time visiting and it was really great! This place his indoor and outdoor seating, but it's nice that the outdoor seating is covered for too sunny/rainy days. I also appreciate that you have the option to order at the outdoor window or inside at the register. The menu has lots of good sounding options, but I opted to order the classic burger and added cheddar cheese. I also got the crisscut fries and a banana creme pie twisty. The classic cheeseburger tasted just how I wanted with the classic toppings and had good flavor. The fries were crispy and I really liked the seasoning on them. But the star of the meal was the banana creme pie twisty. I love bananas and really enjoyed the fact that the twisty is served with actual banana slices so with each spoonful I got a piece of banana. It's similar to a flurry and I'm excited to visit again and try their other twisty flavors!

Exactly what it says... BURGERS and CREAM that are so, so good! Located in Auburn, it's an easy stop with plenty of parking right in front since it's in a larger commercial/retail area. They were busy, but the service was still very friendly. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and portions. It looks like an old-school burger joint where you can order at the window outside or inside with seating, plus there's an outdoor area to hang out with your quadruped friend. First-time visit order: The Guido was perfectamente with the pastrami combo. Just plan to work out later. The Western was equally good. Just a tiny tad greasy, but then again... what good burger isn't? We got the halfsies with fries and onion rings, and it was just as good! Not greasy at all, with thick fries and lightly seasoned onion rings (not too salty) to complement the burger. Tried their fountain items to taste (husband ate most of it, wish they had a shareable flight to try all the delicious twisty flavors!): * Dole Whip in a cone: Just okay * Banana Cream Pie: Oh my... yum! * Caramel Snickers Swirl: Equally good, and I'm not even a caramel fan. Ha! We'll definitely have to try more next time we take the drive up there!

We only came for their twistys which are from yo based thick shakes! We came around 5 pm and there was a line but they were well staffed and the line went quick! Their service was quick and friendly through the window and the decor was clean and inviting you can see that this is a hub for a lot of people to have their burgers and hang out As for the Twisties I got the banana cream pie twisty and oh my lord these were so dang good! Fresh banana light whip cream topping and the blended Froyo was not too sweet and had the perfect texture. My partner got the pb flavor which she enjoyed (but she liked mine better)

After a hike, I was looking for something to replenish my energy and this place did NOT disappoint! The parking lot is a fair size, but it seemed to fill up quickly. There was a good amount of outdoor seating along with a few tables inside as well. The vibe there was pretty lively and fun, almost reminded me of old-time burger joints. After ordering my Spicy Johnny burger and onion rings, it only took about 15 minutes to receive it, which is understandable because the food is fresh and made to order! At first glance, it worried me that the burgers seemed slightly small and I was worried I would still be hungry afterwards. However, I was decently satisfied after eating (although I do still wish it was slightly bigger). The burger was packed with flavor and extremely juicy. The spice on it packed a decent punch that satisfied my tastebuds! And the onion rings were great! They weren't hot when I received them, but they were still crunchy. After the meal, I ordered a vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. Nothing more to say other than it was a refreshing way to end my dinner!

Great place to stop during our road trip to California. The burgers were outstanding. We got there at opening and there was already people eating. Very popular place!

3 stars because honestly if I had to choose, I'd go to In N Out. I ordered the Spicy Johnny and it had a kick to it. Overall ingredients weren't very fresh and the burgers are pre frozen. The price of the burger is pretty good for what you get. We didn't order a milk shake but they looked good and everyone was getting them.

We arrived a little before noon on a Friday on our way back from the mountains. We only had one family in front of us at the time, but there shortly became a line. You can order outside through the windows or inside at the counter. They have both indoor and outdoor seating - the outdoor seating is covered and larger than inside. They also have 3 restrooms available outside, independent stalls, one with a changing table. We ordered two hamburgers - the boss and spicy one. Both were delicious! The burgers themselves were not dry at all and offered a lot of flavor. We shared a family fry, as every is sold a la cart. The kids for the chicken tenders meals and very much enjoyed it (which is definitely saying a lot when it comes to kids). We ended with a shake - the Campfire S'mores. It was delicious! It was a medium consistency so we used a spoon and then a straw later. A lot of my mix-in was either at the very top or the bottom, so I did mix it up a little myself. Definitely worth the stop!

The Patty Melt Burger was delicious, the cheese was perfect and wasn't overloaded with onions.
    Jed D.

The place was super clean and the ambiance was nice. Staff were super friendly and ready to be at your service. The food was overall 9/10. Only reason that it was not a 10/10 was because the The New Fashion Burger Bun was a tad bit saugy after just coming out, most likely due to the juiciness of the burger which I loved. The Patty Melt Burger was delicious and tasted more like a grilled cheese with a burger patty in it. The crust on the bread was perfect and had a great flavor. Lastly was the Crunchy Caramel Twistie, just imagine like a McFlurry from McDonalds or a Dairy Queen Blizzard!

Burger and Cream takes me back to a place I've only seen in movies - a burger and ice cream spot where locals come after Friday night football. The burgers are decent. I prefer their New Fashion - no frills burger with lettuce, tomato, red onions, and cheese. I tried the Boss and it was too heavy for me. Their ice cream never disappoints. Definitely recommend for the food and atmosphere. 10/10.

    Chocolate Mint Milkshake
    Robert C.

This eatery's prices are very reasonable and the food is really good quality. My fish sandwich was not overly flavorful which enabled me to truly enjoy the fish's crispy texture and the bun's softness. I also appreciated how flexible the restaurant was in preparing my milkshake as it combined both chocolate and mint together. I would've liked if the milkshake's ice-cream was a more organic or a locally-made source rather than using the Ghirardelli brand. However, this is a family-owned business therefore unlike the larger chains of "Super Duper Burgers" or "The Melt," improvising its dairy ice-cream with such standards is probably not financially feasible to implement.

The artisanal breads are located on the side of the shop when you walk up towards the case. They have many flavors like roasted sourdough, pumpkin seed, kalamata olive, rosemary & lemon, and more! All breads are preservative free and made with organic flour. I decided to try the flourless brownie along with a ham and cheese croissant. I wanted something sweet and something savory. The flourless brownie was definitely my favorite of the two. It was rich, chocolatey, and had that creamy texture that you want from a good flourless brownie. It was a good size, too! The ham and cheese croissant itself was good and had a nice flaky texture, but I really wish there had been more ham and cheese inside. It felt a little light on the filling, especially compared to the size of the croissant. I absolutely enjoyed the flavor and flakey texture. It was a perfect crossiant, minus the ham and cheese part. The inside is cute but be prepared to get cozy with only a small amount of space to sit. Thankfully, they also have some outdoor seating if you want to hang out and enjoy your pastry there. I didn't get a picture of indoor or outdoor seating because they were a good amount of people enjoying their dining experience. I guess they know where the goodies are! Here! Overall, I liked discovering this little spot. Between the pastries, croissants, artisanal breads, and other goodies for sale, there was plenty to look at and definitely a few things I want to come back and try... and I'd for sure grab another one of those flourless brownies!

What made a terrible impression and made this visit one I wish I did not take, making me give 3 stars out of 5, was the young woman who checked me out. I ordered 4 pies and two were gifts so I asked for two extra bags. She answered in an annoyed way that they're $.25 each. No problem I said and paid for them. This extra one minute really seemed to have bothered her and it's terrible that she made me feel unvalued in such a short amount of time. She seemed to be eager to help the party behind me, which is great but she had no finesse in her customer service. I believe she could've made my experience completely different and still acknowledge the people after me. She made it seem as if I'm less important of a customer than they were. She also didn't bag my 4th pie which was awkward because she gave me the bags there. I'll be back but I won't be in a hurry like I was before. These small personal nuances are what makes small businesses great. When you're client facing it's so important to know this. It doesn't take much to be kind or provide great service.

While Robb and Mimi were helping other patrons at the counter, it gave me plenty of time to look at their gorgeous creations. The custom made cakes and cupcakes made my eye twinkle. It brought back memories of when I used to be a cake decorator. It takes time and patience to create these masterpiece. The cakes cakes made with superior ingredients looked classic... Immediately, the giant German Chocolate cupcake caught my eye. One of those was definitely going home with me. Since it was early, I needed something more breakfast like to start with. If you're visiting in the morning or looking for a refreshing drink, they also feature an extensive fresh juice bar where they will blend combos on the spot. Robb was the person to help me. With a big smile, asked what I would like. I asked what was popular here because it was my first time. They said the almond breakfast cake was pretty popular. So Robb packed me up and I was on my way with both the Almond Bahar cake and giant German Chocolate cake! Robb even offered to warm up my almond cake for me! Thank you, Robb!!!! When I got home, both the German Chocolate cake and Almond Breakfast cake had some weight to them. With my first bite of the Almost Breakfast cake.. it was a warm beautiful bite... and exactly how I like my cakes... not too sweet, a little fruity, with a nutty taste. From the inside out, this breakfast cake was made insanely good. I loved the crumb topping. You know I had to take a bite of that German Chocolate cupcake... although it was breakfast time! Let's just say I definitely spoiled myself with this one. The cake was moist and with a deep cocoa flavor! The coconut-pecan frosting was creamy, a gooey goodness. It was a phenomenal contrast with the soft moist cake. I think I can taste that the pecans were toasted to add even more of a nutty flavor! Perfection! Someone here knows exactly what they're doing and I can't eat another German Chocolate cake from anywhere but here! In fact, hold on while I take another bite... I have not even touched the tip of the iceberg with this review on the cozy lunches that they offer. How exciting does it sound to be able to have lunch, and then get up and go pick a dessert after? Or enjoy a cinnamon twist with a fresh cup of brewed coffee? Pure bliss! Taste of heaven! Flour Garden Bakery makes me want to stop in everyday and try one of everything. The price ranges from moderate to slightly high... however, you can expect some of the best flavors in town coming from this delicious bakery. If you come by, you won't be disappointed!

Had been a while since I had been here, and man it has tanked since our last visit. Not worth one…read morestar. When was the last time they mopped the floor? We ordered a few cupcakes should have just walked out the door. They probably were no less than 3 or 4 days old the cake and icing just tasted of refrigerator, dry and dense totally gross. Literally could not cut through it with their plastic knifes or forks. The icing like eating gum, freakin disgusting. Tables were filthy floor filthy. Avoid place has become a joke.
