Upon arriving on a Saturday evening, this place was busy, and the vibes seemed great. I love that there's the option of indoor and outdoor seating. You can also order outside or inside. It took about 15 mins for my order but worth it for fresh food. For the sauces, they offered a variety including spicy thousand island, ranch, and etc. The burgers and onions rings were high quality and delicious. I was wondering if the burgers came with sides since they are in the pricier side, but it doesn't. But after eating my meal, I was pretty satisfied and everything tasted great, that the prices were justified. From photos, the burgers seemed small, but was happy to find out the burgers were a good size. I ordered the New Fashion and added cheese to it, plus family size onion rings. The burger was very filling and tasted really fresh and flavorful without being overpowering. But I do wish there was more lettuce than just one piece. The onion rings were made perfectly and wasn't overly greasy. After my meal, I went back to order a small ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. I love how they include this cute little plastic anti-drip cone holder! Overall, the entire experience was good and everything was delicious. I'd come back! (Random note; I've never seen a banana shaped wet floor sign before but that made me giggle hehe)

First time visiting and it was really great! This place his indoor and outdoor seating, but it's nice that the outdoor seating is covered for too sunny/rainy days. I also appreciate that you have the option to order at the outdoor window or inside at the register. The menu has lots of good sounding options, but I opted to order the classic burger and added cheddar cheese. I also got the crisscut fries and a banana creme pie twisty. The classic cheeseburger tasted just how I wanted with the classic toppings and had good flavor. The fries were crispy and I really liked the seasoning on them. But the star of the meal was the banana creme pie twisty. I love bananas and really enjoyed the fact that the twisty is served with actual banana slices so with each spoonful I got a piece of banana. It's similar to a flurry and I'm excited to visit again and try their other twisty flavors!

Exactly what it says... BURGERS and CREAM that are so, so good! Located in Auburn, it's an easy stop with plenty of parking right in front since it's in a larger commercial/retail area. They were busy, but the service was still very friendly. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and portions. It looks like an old-school burger joint where you can order at the window outside or inside with seating, plus there's an outdoor area to hang out with your quadruped friend. First-time visit order: The Guido was perfectamente with the pastrami combo. Just plan to work out later. The Western was equally good. Just a tiny tad greasy, but then again... what good burger isn't? We got the halfsies with fries and onion rings, and it was just as good! Not greasy at all, with thick fries and lightly seasoned onion rings (not too salty) to complement the burger. Tried their fountain items to taste (husband ate most of it, wish they had a shareable flight to try all the delicious twisty flavors!): * Dole Whip in a cone: Just okay * Banana Cream Pie: Oh my... yum! * Caramel Snickers Swirl: Equally good, and I'm not even a caramel fan. Ha! We'll definitely have to try more next time we take the drive up there!

Great place to stop during our road trip to California. The burgers were outstanding. We got there at opening and there was already people eating. Very popular place!

We only came for their twistys which are from yo based thick shakes! We came around 5 pm and there was a line but they were well staffed and the line went quick! Their service was quick and friendly through the window and the decor was clean and inviting you can see that this is a hub for a lot of people to have their burgers and hang out As for the Twisties I got the banana cream pie twisty and oh my lord these were so dang good! Fresh banana light whip cream topping and the blended Froyo was not too sweet and had the perfect texture. My partner got the pb flavor which she enjoyed (but she liked mine better)

3 stars because honestly if I had to choose, I'd go to In N Out. I ordered the Spicy Johnny and it had a kick to it. Overall ingredients weren't very fresh and the burgers are pre frozen. The price of the burger is pretty good for what you get. We didn't order a milk shake but they looked good and everyone was getting them.

We arrived a little before noon on a Friday on our way back from the mountains. We only had one family in front of us at the time, but there shortly became a line. You can order outside through the windows or inside at the counter. They have both indoor and outdoor seating - the outdoor seating is covered and larger than inside. They also have 3 restrooms available outside, independent stalls, one with a changing table. We ordered two hamburgers - the boss and spicy one. Both were delicious! The burgers themselves were not dry at all and offered a lot of flavor. We shared a family fry, as every is sold a la cart. The kids for the chicken tenders meals and very much enjoyed it (which is definitely saying a lot when it comes to kids). We ended with a shake - the Campfire S'mores. It was delicious! It was a medium consistency so we used a spoon and then a straw later. A lot of my mix-in was either at the very top or the bottom, so I did mix it up a little myself. Definitely worth the stop!

Burger and Cream takes me back to a place I've only seen in movies - a burger and ice cream spot where locals come after Friday night football. The burgers are decent. I prefer their New Fashion - no frills burger with lettuce, tomato, red onions, and cheese. I tried the Boss and it was too heavy for me. Their ice cream never disappoints. Definitely recommend for the food and atmosphere. 10/10.

This eatery's prices are very reasonable and the food is really good quality. My fish sandwich was not overly flavorful which enabled me to truly enjoy the fish's crispy texture and the bun's softness. I also appreciated how flexible the restaurant was in preparing my milkshake as it combined both chocolate and mint together. I would've liked if the milkshake's ice-cream was a more organic or a locally-made source rather than using the Ghirardelli brand. However, this is a family-owned business therefore unlike the larger chains of "Super Duper Burgers" or "The Melt," improvising its dairy ice-cream with such standards is probably not financially feasible to implement.

The food here is amazing! The first time here, we didn't have much time but after looking at their menu, we landed on the Guido, which is a burger with a lot of pastrami on it, and a chocolate milkshake. I have had pastrami burgers at at least two dozen other places and this was my favorite so far. You can tell, they use high quality ingredients and that's especially important with pastrami. You can tell they take pride in their food, so this time when we were in auburn, we picked the Guido again, added half fries, half onion rings, and another chocolate shake. The rings and fries were perfect. It's hard to get onion rings that aren't greasy but neither the fries nor onion rings were. The burger to pastrami ratio was generous and perfect. The chocolate shake was a wonderful, old fashioned, real ice cream shake. I plan on visiting Burger & Cream every time I visit Auburn. If you haven't tried them yet, do yourself a favor and give them a try .

The Pounder~ Hubby loved this meaty burger with triple 100% angus chuck patties & fresh produce!

OMG my favorite burger joint! We stopped in on a Sunday during their lunch hour. This family owned restaurant, originally named Foster's Freeze we all know and love, opened in 1986! We ordered The Halfsie, The Guido with Tillamook Cheddar instead of swiss, The Pounder and a 12 oz Caramel Snickers Swirl. The Halfsie is a family size mix of the best onion rings and fries I've ever had! It's served with ketchup and amazing ranch! Hubby loved his swirl! The Guido was filled with mouthwatering pastrami, a meaty 100% angus chuck patty, grilled onions, melty cheese & fresh produce! Hubby loved The pounder, it's one meaty burger topped with triple 100% angus chuck patties and fresh produce! Baby loved everything as well she split with us! Great staff, restrooms and plenty of seating! 5/5 stars all the way!! I want to visit their 2nd location in Grass Valley that opened in 2020! We'll be back soon to devour the rest of the menu!! SYOY! :-) *Song Credit: Cook the Food by AlexGuz

Another adventure out to Auburn and had to stop at one of my favorite places. I got a strawberry and banana milkshake, an order of chili cheese fries, and 2 of their Burger and Cream merchandise tshirts. Support your local mom and pop businesses!

Is the mandarin shake seasonal? I don't see it on the menu photos.

Yes, this is a seasonal item as we source the juice from a local farm. We usually carry it from late October through November.

As I was looking for a parking spot, I noticed one of my regulars is also a regular here. We were so happy to see each other. There we were pulling out our phones to show each other pictures of our kids. Since he was on his way out, we said our goodbyes do that I could get down to business... and pleasure my taste buds. First, I like the checkered floor. I feel like it adds to the playfulness of the atmosphere. The art on the walls was extraordinary. I couldn't help but study it. While Robb and Mimi were helping other patrons at the counter, it gave me plenty of time to look at their gorgeous creations. The custom made cakes and cupcakes made my eye twinkle. It brought back memories of when I used to be a cake decorator. It takes time and patience to create these masterpiece. The cakes cakes made with superior ingredients looked classic... Immediately, the giant German Chocolate cupcake caught my eye. One of those was definitely going home with me. Since it was early, I needed something more breakfast like to start with. If you're visiting in the morning or looking for a refreshing drink, they also feature an extensive fresh juice bar where they will blend combos on the spot. Robb was the person to help me. With a big smile, asked what I would like. I asked what was popular here because it was my first time. They said the almond breakfast cake was pretty popular. So Robb packed me up and I was on my way with both the Almond Bahar cake and giant German Chocolate cake! Robb even offered to warm up my almond cake for me! Thank you, Robb!!!! When I got home, both the German Chocolate cake and Almond Breakfast cake had some weight to them. With my first bite of the Almost Breakfast cake.. it was a warm beautiful bite... and exactly how I like my cakes... not too sweet, a little fruity, with a nutty taste. From the inside out, this breakfast cake was made insanely good. I loved the crumb topping. You know I had to take a bite of that German Chocolate cupcake... although it was breakfast time! Let's just say I definitely spoiled myself with this one. The cake was moist and with a deep cocoa flavor! The coconut-pecan frosting was creamy, a gooey goodness. It was a phenomenal contrast with the soft moist cake. I think I can taste that the pecans were toasted to add even more of a nutty flavor! Perfection! Someone here knows exactly what they're doing and I can't eat another German Chocolate cake from anywhere but here! In fact, hold on while I take another bite... I have not even touched the tip of the iceberg with this review on the cozy lunches that they offer. How exciting does it sound to be able to have lunch, and then get up and go pick a dessert after? Or enjoy a cinnamon twist with a fresh cup of brewed coffee? Pure bliss! Taste of heaven! Flour Garden Bakery makes me want to stop in everyday and try one of everything. The price ranges from moderate to slightly high... however, you can expect some of the best flavors in town coming from this delicious bakery. If you come by, you won't be disappointed!
