Tanner's Coffee in La Mirada has been on my list since they first opened up. Although Tanner's has been around for quite a long time, I've never heard of it until this year since I'm not local to their LA locations. Looking at the pictures, Tanner's has by far one of the most presentable looking drinks which drew me in. Here's what I ordered: **Banana Cream Top Espresso Latte: Got this with oat milk and got it with regular sweetness after inquiring with the barista if it was overly sweet or not. Holy BANANAS, this drink was mad delicious! Unlike other places that serve artificial banana flavored drinks, this cream top resembled an actual banana. The creaminess was perfect and the espresso was prepared perfectly. Easily one of the best cream tops I've ever had in my life. (5/5) **Iced Americano: Slightly on the lighter side but the espresso is good so the drink was overall very good. It had a nice balance of flavor. (5/5) Everyone I interacted with was awesome and showed great customer service. Go try their banana cream top ASAP because you won't regret it! I 100% support Tanner's Coffee.

This review is for the coconut matcha -- something I crave when the weather gets hotter. This place had the perfect balance of fresh coconut water and the thick matcha cream. So happy this is close by to me! Just based on the matcha color in photos I knew they knew how to make a matcha latte and use good quality matcha. Parking lot is a little small so be mindful depending when you decide to come. Inside has a good amount of tables. Can't wait to try more drinks!

I had a lovely experience at Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada). I ordered the Banana Cream Top Coffee ($7.50 - 16oz). It's banana cold foam and an espresso iced latte. TASTY! I felt awake and happy. I arrived at Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada) on Thursday (around 10:35AM). Parking is simple, but it's tight & cramped. Fortunately, I quickly found a parking spot in the lot. Staff is professional and hard working. Staff politely answered my questions. My drink took five minutes and 46 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Banana Cream Top Coffee ($7.50). It tastes like fresh, natural banana! I even tasted and bit into small bits of mashed up fresh banana in its cream. The coffee is also not overly sweet nor bitter. Rather, the brew flows smoothly like chill silk. There's only two shots of espresso, but I felt clean, strong energy fill me. It's wonderful!! On ambiance, Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada) is minimalistic and popular with customer flow. There's five tiny tables and a long bench. It's echoey inside, and the location is relatively clean. However, the location does need to be a little more diligent in the cleanliness; many long strands of hair were over several of the round cushions. Fortunately, Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada) has good utility. There's four electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; customers need to speak to Staff for the details. There's also a self-service water station, and there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. I appreciated the upbeat music, and as more customers flooded in, I appreciated how Staff strengthened the ventilation. Overall, I had a memorable and lovely experience at Tanner's Coffee (La Mirada). This business is popular for good reason. The coffee is AMAZING!! And I left with a bright smile. If you love coffee, this is an easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5

Great coffee has been popping up in this area and Tanner's is one of them. They're the only ones (in this area and to my knowledge) that has a banana cream top and coconut matcha. I highly recommend checking this place out. We have gone here at least 5 times in the last month!

Saw this place on Tik Tok so I had to check it out. The inside is big and clean. The menu is pretty solid. Lots of matcha options. I got the peach matcha and it was so good. I was afraid it was going to be super peachy but the peach and matcha balance was just right. The barista brought the drink right to be which I thought was nice instead of just putting it at the bar and calling my name.

Service was great, the one who helped us out at register was kind. They had a good variety of pastries and drinks as well. I've been trying to find a good place that has a banana matcha and this place was it! The inside is cute and plenty of seating but it's not too comfortable in my opinion. We had gotten a chocolate muffin and the barista that helped us out asked if we wanted it warmed up but when it was given to us it was really cold so I think she might've forgotten to warm it up so we had to go back and tell them. It was no big issue at all but thankfully we felt it before we left. Would definitely come back even if it's a bit of a drive for me!

The parking lot itself is small, which can make finding a spot a little difficult during busier times. The space itself is aesthetically decorated with white and green as the primarily colors. Both drinks were well-made with strong coffee and matcha flavors, which I liked. The cold brew latte had a bold coffee taste, and the double matcha definitely delivered on flavor. That said, both drinks were a bit sweeter than my personal preference. Overall, still a solid stop and much very much appreciated getting to enjoy this after going to the gym.

When you walk in, it's welcoming with their open space, great coffee and matcha menu and pastries from @nonnamercato . Their cream tops are made in house with fresh bananas, matcha or signature Tanner's vanilla. It goes great on your flakey croissant, iced latte, matcha or even a strawberry milk. Checked out this new coffee spot in La Mirada with a friend! We went on a weekday and it's in a plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is really nice! Minimal and spacious, which I loved. Between the two of us, we tried the coconut matcha, yuzu espresso tonic, banana cream top latte, strawberry matcha, cold brew cream top, and split a croissant. Everything was really good!! Not overly sweet, the cream tops were fresh and super foamy. The staff told us they use real fruit in their drinks, and you can definitely tell. The croissant was flaky and buttery, hit the spot. Staff was friendly and helped us navigate the menu since there were a lot of options. Will probably come back to try other things!

An updated review! Coming back to Tanners multiple times made me realize I needed to update my review. I've tried MANY coffee shops for matcha and honestly, hands down... Tanners has some of the best matcha I've had. It's smooth, flavorful, and not overly milky at all. So many places I've tried taste like nothing but milk, but you definitely won't get that here. If you're looking for something simple, balanced, and not overly sweet, I highly recommend Tanners. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, and he actually remembers your name, which makes the experience even better. It definitely has that family spot feeling where everyone feels welcomed and comfortable. Definitely one of my go-to spots now!

I ordered the Tanner's Cream Top with house cream top and the Banana Cream Top Matcha, and they were both so good. You can really taste the coffee, it's strong, and the cream top adds the perfect amount of sweetness. The Banana Cream Top was sweet and you could actually taste the banana without it being artificial. Both drinks were delicious and perfectly balanced. I also love how convenient it is that they offer online ordering. The parking lot is clean with plenty of space, and they even have two designated spots for online pickup, which makes grabbing your order quick and easy. read more

This is a great new local coffee spot and definitely worth the stop. I had Tanner's Cream Top, which was perfectly made. It was not too sweet and had zero bitter taste. I ordered from their Yelp listing, so my drink was just about ready upon my arrival. Once inside, I saw several people working as well as customers, so I took that as a good sign. I believe I may have spoke to the owner who told me they had been open for 2 weeks. He asked about my experience ordering online, which tells me he cares about the customer experience end of his business. I will be a returning customer. Cons- parking can be a little tight, but there are 15 minute spots closer to the liquor store which was perfect for pick-up. Other con- my drink was so good that I wish it was bigger! read more

We were visiting family from out of town and wanted some good coffee. We ordered 4 drinks and pastries...the pastries are DELICIOUS , 10/10. Coffees were also 10/10. Banana foam, maple cold brew, yummm. My daughter ordered the guava and we were not expecting carbonation...I asked the barista if there was an alternative, something sweet but not caffeinated. She recommended a couple drinks and my daughter didn't feel like either, so no big deal. As we were walking out she surprised us with the two drinks she recommended...WHAT AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE DRINKS HERE ARE AMAZING! we got the banana cream top matcha and hojicha cream top and the drinks are literally so delicious with the cream tops and the matcha and hojicha are very strong in flavor!!(which is great because it can be a hit or miss with some cafes). Another amazing coffee spot in La Mirada! I tried Tanner's for the first time and ordered the iced Butterfinger mocha latte with banana foam and it was heavenly!! The latte was perfectly sweet without being sickeningly sweet and the cold foam was to die for. The only downside was I liked my drink so much I don't think I'll ever try anything else! The service was quick and the employees were all very welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to go back! read more

Ordered a Spanish latte half sweet - $6.50. Still a bit too sweet for me but it's pretty good. It's not really a place to come and do work. They have these small tables that you can't move and don't have enough space to hold other than your laptop and latte. Employees were nice and brought my drink out for me. Not a good first impression. It was a cold morning so I wanted a hot drink. They don't do their specialty drinks hot, only iced. So had to stick with basic coffee or matcha. Ordered matcha latte and spinach pastry. My matcha was luke warm at best. So disappointed. $13 for small matcha and pastry that is half the price at 85*, no thanks. Their iced drinks look good but not what I was looking for on a cold morning. read more

First time coming here and I'll definitely be back! I was immediately greeted as I walked in and I was able to order quickly. It was a Sunday afternoon around 2:30 so it wasn't busy. I went with the banana cream top matcha and the tanner's cream top, both with oat milk. Both drinks were amazing! The matcha was delicious and strong and the banana cream top was sooo yummy. It wasn't artificial tasting at all and it gave the matcha a really nice flavor. The tanner's cold brew was probably my favorite but I am more of a coffee person. The cream top wasn't overly sweet and the latte itself was strong enough and not milky at all (what I prefer). So together, they paired really nicely! I'm excited to come back and try another drink or just get the tanners cream top again cause it was truly delicious. read more

Stopped by Tanner's Coffee and had a great experience! I ordered the Banana Cream Top Espresso Latte and my wife had the Banana Cream Top Matcha. Both were absolutely delicious. You can really taste the banana flavor in the cream top which made the drinks unique and flavorful. I also tried the pistachio croissant and it was delicious. Flaky, fresh and perfectly paired with the coffee. The staff was friendly, welcoming and provided great service. Definitely a spot we'll be returning to for more creative drinks and pastries! read more

f you're in La Mirada, you NEED to stop by Tanner's Coffee Co. I just tried their iced matcha (with oat milk + house foam ‍) and it was perfectly balanced smooth, not too sweet, and super refreshing. You can tell they actually know how to do matcha right. And don't even get me started on the pastries... the matcha croissant and Nutella croissant were both 10/10. Flaky, fresh, and honestly hard to share The vibe is clean, cozy, and the service was so friendly it just feels like one of those spots you keep coming back to. Parking might be tricky at busy times as it shares the lot with other shops in the plaza along a busy street. Service was quick, I got my drink not even a full five minutes after ordering but it was also a slow time for them. They sell pastries but it looks like they sell out fast as I came in around noon and it looked like a few quiches and maybe a brownie left. Drink is 9/10 only because the matcha taste isn't that strong but that aside it's delicious! As a matcha lover, if you really want that authentic taste, probably not the one for you but their other drinks all sound delicious anyway! Will be back to try them.
