I recently had a fence restoration and/or repair via Tan's Landscape out of Renton Highlands. My original fence went down during the last winter's storm of heavy snow and wind. This was partially covered by my homeowners insurance, so I called all the *big* and reputable fence companies. They all came out but wanted to replace my entire fence consisting of approx. 60 Linear feet of fence. The storm only damaged approx. 35 ft of fencing. The insurance company came back and would not pay for an entire new fence. I'd agree. The previous fence companies would not re-submit a revised bid. So I searched on social media and found Tan Landscape on Yelp. He did not have many reviews but I saw a few photos and gave him a call. He came by the same week for a quick estimate. His quote was comparable to the *big* guys but he was willing to do the repair and restoration and not put up an entire new fence. He replace only the damaged sections. When Mr. Tan arrived he brought what I thought was top know contractor tools. He had a quality Dewalt Miter saw along with a bosch air nailer and a portable table saw. He was also used quality coated screws rather than the typical galvanized nails. This was a nice added quality touch that would make the fence stand up longer. My existing fence had galvanized nails, and after five years I saw some separation of the various section due to nails popping loose slightly. Please see the attached photos... Our backyard was completely transformed! Tan and his team worked consistently every day during our project as weather allowed and he always communicated to us if he had to skip a day (only happened once or twice).
