I came here once and got a gel manicure and the polish dried with little air bubbles on multiple fingers. I shouldn't have gone back after that, but it's in Jeju so when I went there earlier this week, I tried Tanzi again too. Before coming, I checked the website to see what time the nail salon closed because I wanted to plan my visit accordingly, and I did not want to come unless I could also get a manicure and pedicure. The website says that the nail salon closes at 10pm and I arrived at 8:15pm, so I should have had plenty of time to accomplish everything I wanted to do. However, when I walked into the nail salon at 8:30 they told me they were closed and would not take me. This time I was off put by the misinformation and attitude I got, especially since I intentionally planned ahead and did my due diligence to avoid this exact situation. Don't come here!!! Too pricey. The mani/pedi+ the massage was only 3 minutes (supposed to be 5min) and it cost more. My heels are still gross even after paying $4 extra a foot to work on my heels. I'm from out of town and used Yelp to find a salon with the best rating and reviews closest to where I was staying and this one won. I don't mind paying for good service but the nail tech sucked. I have been here several times and each time was not a good experience. This last time that I went is the reason why I am finally leaving a review and will not return. My pedicurist was Austin and he was so unprofessional. He even took a call in the middle of my pedicure! There was polish all over my skin too. My nails were done by a different person and have a bad shape and the foundation for the acrylic is bumpy and doesn't cover my whole nail! This place is too expensive for it not to give quality work. We called ahead. When we got there they said they had time to do our pedicure but doing our nails would be a wait! The lady that did my pedicure told me she was leaving so she told me to go ahead and pay. And when I handed her my card she asked "how much tip are you giving". I let it go and paid for my toes. Just to see her doing someone else's toes after she forced me to pay and said she was leaving. The other nail tech did a fill in when I clearly stated I wanted a full set. I didn't argue with her I just let her do it. Meanwhile my best friend got her toes done and she's waiting for her nails and they are taking other people before her. If you ever need a quality nail salon after most nail salons have closed and you're desperate, go here. Other than that, you are on your own - - - I called ahead of time to confirm the service I wanted (SNS, dipping powder). The receptionist was polite and informed me that about 7PM they get full, so I might have to wait awhile for my service. I arrived at 7:15pm. The facility, located inside Jeju on the 2nd floor, was modern and very clean with no clutter or mess anywhere! Plenty of spa pedicure chairs and manicure stations, but not nearly enough nail techs: only 3 techs to be exact. I signed in with the receptionist then proceeded to wait patiently for.............2 hours!! When I was finally serviced, the tech was overwhelmingly gossipy in the most negative way imaginable and basically ignored me except when I was informing her on the details of the style I wanted. The tech next to her was even worse! He sang loudly with headphones on and even forced his client to listen to his music! I mean karaoke kinda long singing. It was such a strange experience. When she finished my nails, I was pleasantly surprised that they were actually PERFECT! Everything I asked for was done beautifully and with the utmost of care & attention to details. My nail tech really tried. Which is why I can't use her name. unfortunately a day after getting my nails done here two broke and one was lifting. Fortunately they fixed two out of four very poorly and one of them they said they couldn't fix because it had not lifted all the way up. I really wanted to like this place despite the reviews and the friendly nail tech but unfortunately I could not. I went to this place because my regular nail tech was booked for the day and I needed a mani and pedi bad. I can't think of the lady tech who did my nails but I will never spend money here again. I got the express pedicure which was rushed and my toes were poked by the utensils used to clean my cuticles. So I got up with sore feet. As for my nails I wanted light blue nails with a halo colored middle nail. She ensured me that I was getting a halo nail(which I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails before she started) and I got chrome nails instead. I was not happy with that and my skin around my cuticles was cut by the electric nail filer. My fingers were sore and it stung when she put the alcohol on my gel nails. A missed opportunity. I was at Jeju and decided to try this salon. I got the express pedi, and that's what it was! She finished my nails as quickly as possible, but they weren't very neat. The benches had a massage option, but it was just the flat back shaking. Pointless! And you can't pay with your bracelet. You have to pay separately. Terrible terrible !!!! Worst experience ever !!! I was there for over 2hrs due to the workers taking 4 customers that arrived after me because there services paid more then mine !!!! There's only one worker in there that is actually skilled at doing nails and he wouldn't take me because I wanted a simple service ! Once I finally sat in a chair a different worker came up front to work on me he rushed and threw things around while doing my nails. We called Tanzi nails and an hour before we got there asking if they do walk ins for a acrylic nails, they said yes and they take walk in till 8:30. The lady on the phone was very uninterested and rude. We drove an hour to get here and when we walked in at 7:30 they said they couldn't take us and already had 3 people waiting on the couch that had been there an hour. Well my first time coming wasn't great at all, service was good but , I recently went like 3 days ago basically Saturday and I left some what unsatisfied because they were chunky and curved down I thought it was just me but all my friends and family told me they look funny I the lady was nice but I didn't like the job. I got a great pedicure from Mary. My feet are very prone to callusing but she had them soft and smooth. The polish wasn't great, however, and my nails chipped later that day which was kind of disappointing. I don't live nearby so I don't know how often I'll be back but I would definitely go see Mary again next time I'm at Jeju. read more

Came here for my bachlorette party on October 16th! When I called they helped me set everything up and told me what I could bring in. The staff was so accomadating and nice! They even shut the place down for my group for a few hours which I was not expecting! The gentleman who handled everything was phenomenal! They also did such a great job on my nails. If an older Asian man with male pattern baldness is assigned to you, do yourself a favor and WALK AWAY. My two friends went up to check and make sure there were three techs available to help us at the same time. I arrived less than 5 minutes after them. The three tubs were full and my friends were being attended. I sat down to soak and about a half hour later and pruned feet to boot, the grumpy dude from hades sat down to work on me. He barely made eye contact and I swear he was cursing the whole time in another language. He grumbled on until he left AGAIN after the hot towel wrap was applied. He was gone at least ten minutes and reeked of cigarette smoke upon return to grumble some more. My friend asked if he could paint a flower on my big toe..."NO FLOWER" he scolded. When my pedicure was finally completed, he said NOTHING, just walked away; definitely, no hand extended to help me down off the platform. Any trace of human consideration gone with his cigarette smoke. (Luckily my friends who had long been done were there to assist.) Next, it was time to pay. My friends were checked out by their techs. Well, this curmudgeon had to be told to ring me out. He proceeded to ask me hostilely for a tip in a different language. My nails looked decent but I felt energetically soiled by his horrible attitude. That man has no business being in a service position. This place is the worst nail salon I have ever been in. I called at the beginning of the day for an appointment at 7:30. When we got there there were so many people and the receptionist had us wait for quite some time. We told her we had an appointment and she told us to pick out our nail colors. She then proceeded to tell us she has no nail technicians to do our nails tonight because there are too many walk ins in front of us even though we have an appointment. How do I even begin? There was only one particular nail tech who was disrespectful. If you want to waste your time, money and pay for a fill in and only get a reshape and new polish THIS IS the place for you. We walked in with no appointment so I expected the wait which was not a problem. However, after waiting an hour I paid $70 for a gel fill in and Xpress pedi ($19 included in the $70). Let me start with the gel fill in - there was none. The nail tech with tattooed eyebrows decided to take advantage of the fact that it was closing time and just shave down my old gel to reshape and file down with new polish. I asked her - where's the fill in when she decided to start the gel base. She said "Huh?" My clue that usually people do that when they want to buy time to answer your question. She gave me a bs answer about my nail beds and proceeded to tell me that she put new powder. I'm not an idiot and I understand closing on a Sunday - everyone wants to get home on time. I paid my $ and I would like what I paid for. How was she done in under 30 minutes to do a full "fill in and polish"? Meanwhile - my sister - also dropped $70 on the same - gel fill in and Xpress pedi... got a different nail tech who applied new powder and reshape / file / buff etc and it took an hour. Dare I ask what is the difference? I have never received SHIT from asking where my "product" is until THIS first / new experience. The pedi was OK - not like other places where I've been. Yes it's a basic pedi so i wasn't expecting extravagant treatment but their "soak" was cold water, scrubbing and a decent clipping. I've paid the same amount for royal treatment. Even though they charged me for a ridiculous fill-in that wasn't even THAT because I still saw where the old gel was and my new nail growth was... (I shouldn't be able to distinguish the two with a fill-in) each nail tech was STILL generously tipped $10 each. So - I can bash them all I want because of their blatant disrespect because even paying them generously I didn't receive what I paid for. Among all of that - if you want that and a heaping portion of shit-talk in a foreign language proceeded with laughing right after, again, this is the place for you. If you want to get WHAT you pay for please go somewhere else. I will never go here again and I usually don't write reviews but my unfilled nails were ITCHING to get home and type this. I'm glad I wasted my money because NOW I know once you find a place you LOVE like I did PRIOR to this ( but since coming home from my cruise tonight and my place was CLOSED and I resorted to this spot because of the fact that they were open so late) just go to where you KNOW. I'm so glad I didn't look up and trust the 3star review average on yelp. I happened upon this place because I took my daughter for an afternoon at Juju spa. You can go to this place separately, though; you don't need to go into Jeju. The receptionist was so sweet and friendly. Mimi worked with my daughter and was fabulous. (Let me say my daughter is very decisive but wasn't easy - she picked two colors for her nails and another two colors for her toenails!) Sandy worked with me and she spent so much time on my toes. They really needed it. I was seriously embarrassed how neglected my feet and toes were, but she spent time and effort to make them pretty again. It must have been an hour at least. All the ladies were helpful choosing colors, deciding what would look good with my skin tone, even offering their own suggestions (I went with one of those). I loved everything about this place. It felt super clean, organized, and like they all take a lot of pride in their work. It was seriously the best pedicure I have ever had. It was never painful! My toes went from ragged to perfection. Do Not go here without risking injury - perhaps they have better manicurists then the jerk I got but I am VERY disappointed and sore. Not a place I want to return to despite my fondness for Jeju sauna. Here's what happened I was taken here for my birthday for a relaxing pedi what I got was a nightmare - guy seemed inexperienced - foot bath was filled with cold water - had no time to soak before he was trying to cut my cuticles without any cuticle oil or lotion and caused me painful bloody toes - now I know sometimes people make mistakes but this was beyond some simple mistake - next he barely cut or shaped my nails but left them ragged and sharp, didn't clean them either - I could go on but we asked for the manager and were told that she wasn't there but would call which hasn't happened - I have taken pictures in the event I need medical treatment... read more

Received a pedicure and was disappointed. I asked for oil after she was finished, because I noticed she was getting ready to paint polish and my feet were ashy, and was told I couldn't get oil because that wasn't in my package. I already had to pay extra to remove dry skin from my feet. I never paid extra for that before. On top of that everything was extra that's included in a regular pedicure. I then gave her my card when she finished and she asked how much am I tipping her? I told her $4 and she charged my card twice for the tip and again for the pedicure.
